Father, we thank You for raising up a President who cares about protecting Your persecuted people. We ask You to protect and bless the persecuted believers in Nigeria as they seek to follow You amid brutal oppression.

For years, believers in Nigeria have faced terrible persecution. Now, however, the Trump administration and GOP leaders are taking steps to address this persecution and hold those responsible accountable.

From the Daily Caller:

The Trump administration and GOP leaders are moving to investigate the persecution of Nigerian Christians and restrict visas for anyone tied to global religious persecution.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Wednesday that the State Department “will restrict U.S. visas for those who knowingly direct, authorize, fund, support, or carry out violations of religious freedom.”

Although the restrictions are in response to the persecution of Christians in Nigeria, Rubio added that they will also apply to governments and individuals responsible for religious persecution around the world.

Sean Nelson, senior counsel for religious rights legal advocacy at ADF International, praised Secretary Rubio’s announcement on X. According to Nelson, the Secretary is relying on a clause in the Immigration and Nationality Act that allows him to deny visas if he believes the potential visa holder’s entry could have “potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States.”

This isn’t the first action the Trump administration has taken to address persecution in Nigeria. President Trump designated the nation a “country of particular concern” on October 31, and he just recently held a round table with Representative Riley Moore and the House Appropriations committee to address the persecution.

Intercessor, as you are reading this, believers in Nigeria are suffering on account of their faith. Let’s ask God to step in, and let’s thank Him for putting a President who care about persecution in the White House!

Thank you, Father, for our government’s response now to Christian suffering in Nigeria. Strengthen our brothers and sisters in Christ, and turn the hearts of Nigeria’s leaders to protect the Christians from the Muslim’s attacks against them. May these suffering saints know you are with them. Protect them and provide for them as they are chased from their homes and land.

We praise oh LORD our God for moving on our president to take a bold stand against the persecution of Christians in Nigeria, and in America and all around the world. We praise you Lord for the work Marco Rubio is doing on this matter. Please bless them and all involved to continue to fight against and conquer the persecution of Christians. In Jesus mighty Name we pray. Amen!

Just today on Newsmax, Sunday, December 7, I heard an official for the Nigerian president being interviewed by Greta.
He said there isn’t the numbers of Nigerian Christians being killed as the News media reports.
Now we need to hear from voices who know what is happening there against Christians. If he wasn’t right, then our President needs to know what the truth is.
Nigeria, he said, has cordial and warm relations with the United States. IFA, please get someone on who really knows what is true and happening to Christians in Nigeria.

If the nigerian government is Muslim then you can know that their Koran tells them to kill all that are not Muslim and they fanatically obey that book. End of story. FATHER GOD please send protection to Christians all around the world including to Nigeria and save them from the evil surrounding them in JESUS NAME! Amen.

The government of Nigeria is doing nothing to protect the Christians so I am not surprised the official is saying this. I pray God would open the government’s eyes and give them willingness to end this violence.

There are many reports that contradict what the president of Nigeria tells foreign reporters. Open Doors, Voice of the Martyrs as well as CBN news report stories like these regularly. Their sources are the people who have suffered much at the hands of Islamic extremist groups.

Eleven years ago we moved to El Paso, there was a large community of Nigerian Christians at the church we attended, when we moved to Central Texas a few years ago we noticed a large group of Nigerian Christians here. There have all moved here to avoid being slaughtered. There have all been doctors, dentists, pharmacists and professionals, people who can afford to move overseas. All who cannot afford to move to another country are being slaughtered. Just because the media is not reporting it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. The fact that this is finally being addressed is an answer to the fervent prayers of the saints, Amen.

Our friend, the Nigerian Gideon ParaMallam, has been trying (as have we in our household) for at least 12 years to draw attention to the ongoing genocide in Nigeria. For at least 12 years it has seemed as if we have been shouting into a barrel! FOR OVER 12 YEARS NO ONE WAS LISTENING!
But thanks be to God, people are finally responding. AT LAST!
