The Trump administration is escalating its efforts to protect parental rights in education, this time targeting a Kansas school district accused of withholding critical information from parents. Federal officials say the district’s policy of concealing students’ gender identity from families violates federal law and could result in the loss of federal funding.

The U.S. Department of Education is moving toward revoking federal funding from a major Kansas school district for a policy that prevents school staff from telling parents about their children’s gender identity.
The Kansas City Public Schools district faces judicial proceedings and no federal dollars after the Education Department found its guidelines violate the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, or FERPA.
The school district’s policy explicitly directs personnel not to reveal information that may disclose a student’s “transgender status or gender nonconforming presentation” to others, including parents.
The Department of Education and the Department of Justice announced they will pursue enforcement measures after concluding the district’s policy conflicts with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Federal officials argue that while FERPA protects the privacy of student records, it also guarantees parents access to information about their minor children. According to the administration, policies that conceal a student’s name change, pronoun usage, or claimed gender identity from parents undermine those protections.
The Kansas City district is one of four school districts identified earlier this year by the Department of Education as having policies that allegedly interfere with parental rights. Officials contend these policies could prevent schools from informing parents even when they request their children’s educational records. The district had not publicly responded to the latest enforcement announcement at the time of reporting.
The administration’s action comes amid a broader effort to roll back transgender policies in education. On the same day, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld laws in West Virginia and Idaho protecting girls’ sports by allowing schools to limit female athletic competitions to biological girls. Together, these actions reflect the Trump administration’s continued emphasis on parental rights and biological sex in education policy.
Parents bear the primary God-given responsibility for raising and guiding their children. Schools can play an important role in education, but they should never replace or undermine the authority entrusted to parents. Lord God, I lift up to You the schools of the United States of America. Protect classrooms from violence, fear, and confusion. Bless teachers with wisdom, patience, and love for their students. Equip them to be role models who inspire learning and character. Shield children from harmful influences and fill them with a hunger for knowledge and truth. Provide resources and support for every child to thrive regardless of background. O Lord, let education in the United States of America be rooted in integrity and shaped by Your truth. I was a recent student at Liberty University University in their online Clinical Mental Health program, to my shock, the textbooks and assignments were gay affirming, including “gender affirming care-sterilization and genital mutilation of children! The guidelines for counselors followed WPATH’s guidelines which have no set age limit for these medical procedures. And condemns what it calls, “conversion therapy” by religious groups. Our so called “Christian” universities are teaching counselors to affirm this EVIL!!!
As a counselor I also found this to be true, this area being one area where much work had been done through the Kinsey reports to indoctrinate and most all sex education is Kinseian since the 60’s. see Judith Riesman’s works including Kinsey, Sex and Fraud; the indoctrination of a people (1990).
Most of the visible church has sold out. His often is Romans 1 preached in churches? Not much. Self-censorship is the first step. The end times real church will be a small remnant and under constant threat. Jesus warned that Christian’s, so called, would turn each other in and false believers would literally hate true ones. Once they have turned away there is no turning back ( as we are warned in Hebrews 6 and several other places) and since they know deep down they are headed for the Lake of Fire their hatred
will be demonic. Anyone knowing they cannot have eternity with God has no reason to be nice to anyone…a demon can’t earn its way to heaven, neither can these who knew and fully turned away. We have to be careful now who we insider a Christian because false believers will be everywhere…including on the boards of “Christian”colleges and speaking from many pulpits. Sorry to say that but true.
