Border Patrol agents did not release any illegal migrants into the United States during the month of May, a decrease from the more than 60,000 who were released into the U.S. the year before, according to a report.

The New York Post reported that while Border Patrol agents “caught 8,725” illegal aliens attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border in May, none of them were released into the country. This represents a 93 percent decrease from May 2024, when roughly 62,000 illegal aliens were released into the U.S. under the Biden administration.

In the 2024 election, President Trump ran on the promise of protecting our border. With this monumental achievement, he and his administration are keeping that promise.

This move also comes as the President is cracking down on illegal immigration across the nation, ordering Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to deport aliens from major cities like Los Angeles. Through both turning migrants away at the border and deporting the illegals already here, the Trump administration is making historic progress at the border.

Let’s pray for President Trump and his administration as they continue to protect the border. Pray God strengthens them and gives them courage!
