I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray for our power grid amid threats and outages. We pray for wisdom for Energy Secretary Chris Wright as he and his department work to solve this problem.

Our grid is in danger. This past Monday, the Department of Energy issued an emergency order for a major power grid operator amid threats of outages and peak energy usage.

Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.

From The Daily Caller:

The PJM Interconnection (PJM) requested the order so that it could run the Wagner Generating Station in Maryland beyond its operating limit, and the emergency order allows PJM and Talen Energy to run “specified units” to meet demand, according to DOE. Several major grid operators have been straining under the summer heat, and the DOE has ordered several other emergency orders across the U.S. in recent months to ensure grid reliability in periods of need.

“This order reduces the threat of power outages during peak demand conditions for millions of Americans,” DOE Secretary Chris Wright said. “The Trump administration remains committed to swiftly deploying all available tools and authorities to safeguard the reliability, affordability, and security of the nation’s energy system.”

PJM recently stated that it faces a “growing resource adequacy concern” as demand climbs while power plants age and retire.

As the Caller notes, experts have warned about threats to our grid for years now. Old power plants are shutting down due to age and oppressive climate mandates, and newer plants based on renewable energy are unable to keep up.

At IFA, we care deeply about the various threats to our grid. We have covered these threats in various articles, webcasts, and resources.

Summer will soon be over, but our grid will still be in danger unless something fundamentally changes. Let’s pray for wisdom for the Trump administration and the DOE as they work to protect our grid and solve this energy crisis!

I retired from an energy company Nat Grid on Long Island, NY back in 2007 and the power grid was an issue! I can’t imagine it today with all these electric vehicles 🚗 absorbing power at such high rates! Help us Lord 🤲🏼🙏🏽😇❣️🙋🏽‍♀️

It is a relief to hear there are actions taking place. I had been made aware of power grid insecurity 20 years ago.
Father, thank You for protecting us these many years, especially knowing the biggest threat may have been welcomed into our country. (Land purchases by foreign advesaries, plus foreign made parts). Please guide this adminstration to do more than acknowledge the problem. Thank you for hearing my prayers all these years. In Jesus name, amen.

I pray for the safety of the grid every single day. I have a large family, and we stay in touch every day through cyber space.

AI is here and AI is going to require a lot more electricity than we have and what our Electrical grid can handle. More natural gas power plants are going to be constructed. I am just praying for wisdom in the planning, that these new power plants will be located in the right places and that America will finally realize that it’s time (as per President Trump) to stop wasting our natural gas energy.
Power plants operate at 50% energy efficiency. It’s always been that way, but with “new” technology, they can be operated at near 100% energy efficiency.
Waste Is Not Waste If It Has A Purpose.
Turn that natural gas waste into good paying full time jobs and money. Bless the local communities where these power plants will be constructed.

We need to get the small modular reactors built and deployed across the country, ASAP. These SMR’s could be vital to meeting the near future needs of AI and other new drains on our grid.

Yes, Suzanne, we do take much for granted. May we all first and foremost be grateful to You, YHVH, for living in a nation where we are so blessed. You have been so good to us. Please protect our power grid from threats of so many kinds, from within and without, and give Secretary Chris Wright and the Trump administration wisdom and discernment to address the major concerns looming over it. May we all be knowledgeable about and willing to take steps to conserve energy in any way possible.
