Recently, a trans-identifying lawmaker in Minnesota shared a shocking statement. While debating age verification laws for pornography, Democratic state Representative Leigh Finke claimed that porn “could be educational” for “queer” children.

Democratic Minnesota state Rep. Leigh Finke claimed during a Thursday hearing that pornography could be “educational” for “queer” children while arguing against a law requiring age verification to access adult web sites.
The legislation HF 1434, would require age verification for sites deemed “harmful to minors,” with sites failing to do so being subject to civil action from the state attorney general and private citizens. Finke, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, claimed current sex education was not being provided for LGBT youth.
“The AGs in many states are, are very clear about that they’re almost jubilant about being able to use these laws to ban young people from accessing content that could be educational if they are queer,” Finke claimed during the Thursday hearing. “And you’re a principal, you have LGBT students in your school, and we also know that they’re not receiving sex education for queer kids. We know that. Prurient interest could be for many people the very existence of transgender kids. More and more people are saying there simply are no transgender kids.” [emphasis added]
This isn’t Representative Finke’s first time sexualizing children. The lawmaker authored legislation in 2023 to remove an exception for pedophiles when it came to protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation. He also received a “Children’s Health Hero” award from the Children’s Minnesota hospital system for authoring his state’s “trans refuge” legislation.
Pornography is obviously harmful, especially for children. it is difficult to see why anyone, especially an elected official, would seek to encourage its use among children, much less call it “educational.” Representative Finke’s comments show just how far our nation has strayed from the Lord, as well as just how far the radical left will go to harm children.
Several states across the nation have already steps legislative steps to prevent children from accessing pornography. Let’s pray that HF 1434 would pass in Minnesota, and let’s pray for the protection of our nation’s precious children!

Heavenly Father, this man utters vile and filthy lies. He clasps hands with evil doers that disguise themselves as Children’s Minnesota hospital systems. Therefore, I ask You to lay bare and expose those practicing wickedness against children, which harm and intend to mislead. Only darkness and a debased mind would spew such sexual perversion. But, You are the God who delivers and saves! Remove the scales from his eyes and let him see clearly, deliver his heart and mind from corruption. Touch his lips with coal so that he cannot speak and let the Spirit of You be upon him. Release Your Spirit of Truth upon every every child. Place true mentors and counselors within these children’s circle of influence. Uproot every tenacle of deception, every pride filled spirit and every back door funding that tries to snatch our children. Bring Your plan, Your word, Your Spirit into every dark place and let the Light of Christ transform and renews. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
oh God have mercy! set this man free from this evil and stop him advancing his agenda. proctect all these innocent child we cry out for you love and your grace to change this mans heart. how perverse and truly vile this is. let your will be done in Minnesota, stop this and bring your truth and your light to shine in the darkness in Jesus might name we pray
Lord please save our children from all this indoctrination and abuse. It is so heartbreaking as I know Your heart breaks also. We seek justice and accountability for those that are harming children. May they repent and turn to you before it is too late for them. Please open the eyes and the hearts of the American people to push back against this evil with you leading the way. In Jesus name I pray.
Lord, You who love the children with a Father’s love, protect all children at all ages. I pray that You will convict the hearts and minds of people who lead these little ones down a path of immorality would have a “stone hung about their necks.” Holy angels of God arise and block every attempt to lead children astray by these people in “high places.” Cause them to trip, to fall, to repent. Block every attempt to mislead these little ones. Arise, O God. Come to the aid of children everywhere. They are to be led to You and find love, assurance, and know who made them male and female. Thank You, Lord, for moving in a mighty way. Amen.
