The Truth Behind Florida’s Parental Rights Bill
Florida’s “Parental Rights in Education” bill has recently come under fire, with some going so far as to call it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Many of the bill’s supporters, such as Jack Posobiec, resent this nickname, claiming that it could not be further from the truth.
From The Post Millennial. In Monday’s episode of “Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec,” the podcast’s namesake took aim at those up in arms regarding a bill in Florida banning the teaching of sexual orientation and gender identities to young school-aged children.
The education bill, called Parental Rights in Education, prohibits the teaching of sexual orientation or gender identity between kindergarten and third grade, amongst other provisions.
The bill has been dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by Democrat opposition, though nowhere in the bill does this phrase appear.
“This is an obvious move, an obvious common sense move and the only people who would push for sexual education, right, for children of that age, probably a groomer. That’s why we’re calling it the anti-grooming bill,” said Posobiec….
