Zyklon-B was a cyanide-based poison that the Nazis used in gas chambers to murder millions of Jewish men, women, and children during the Holocaust. But what many people don’t realize is that the abortion pill (also known as RU-486) has undeniable ties to this deadly poison.

The German company I.G. Farben manufactured Zyklon-B, but after World War 2, the disgraced chemical giant would be dissolved due to its war crimes. Subsequently, it was broken up into several companies, one of those being Hoechst AG. This multinational pharmaceutical corporation would acquire the French chemical company Roussel-Uclaf, which would go on to develop the abortion pill RU486 in 1980.

Eugenics and the Abortion Pill

RU-486, commonly known as mifepristone, made its way to the United States through the Population Council, a non-profit, eugenics-based organization, founded by John D. Rockefeller III. In order to ensure that the murderous pill would gain approval for use, the council sponsored the clinical trials required by the FDA.

In its early days, however, there was a wave of pushback against the abortion pill. Pro-lifers made it publicly known that “Hoechst and Roussel were doing to fetuses what the Nazis had done to the Jews.” A fierce debate ensued for many years, with some presidential administrations opposing and barring its use. It wasn’t until President Bill Clinton took office that restrictions on this deadly drug began to lift, with the pill (often referred to by its brand name Mifeprex) eventually gaining approval in 2000.

Abortion Industry Hides the Truth

The dark history of the abortion pill has been hidden or glossed over by the abortion industry, as well as by the media, medical associations, public schools, and universities. As a result, pro-lifers are likened to unprogressive, religious zealots who are dangerous to democracy. But even in the midst of these unwarranted attacks, the truth is coming out about the dangers of abortion, and particularly the twisted roots of the dreaded pill, which intricately intertwines with Hitler’s Final Solution. In an attempt to cover their tracks, many abortion apologists are grasping for straws, hoping to convince the public that they are not murdering innocent babies, but rather fighting for women’s reproductive freedom.

Recently, the Guttmacher Institute released a report in October 2025 titled The War on Mifepristone: How Junk Science and False Narratives Threaten US Abortion Access. Decades ago, Big Abortion used to claim that large numbers of women died, or were harmed from “self-managed” abortion, but now they insist that women are dying because of reduced access to dangerous abortion pills. Instead of looking at real-world evidence and data, like the recently published study titled The Abortion Pill Harms Women, the abortion enthusiasts spin it as “faulty science.”

Guttmacher’s report states, “Countering faulty science in this context is not only about correcting the record; it is about protecting access to essential care and defending the integrity of evidence-based medicine.”

The use of the word integrity in Guttmacher’s statement is problematic. After all, what integrity can there be in science if “nearly 11% of women who take abortion pills could experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or other life-threatening adverse events?” What integrity can there be when women taking the abortion pill have seen the bodies of their tiny babies floating in the toilet, only to be flushed into the sewage system? What integrity is there when the water we drink is contaminated with the remains of innocent babies, as well as the abortion pills?

Guttmacher’s Tie to Eugenics

It’s important to note that Alan F. Guttmacher, M.D., after whom the Guttmacher Institute was named, was a former Planned Parenthood president, as well as a vice-president of the American Eugenics Society, and believed in “compulsory population control measures.” Thus, when Big Abortion organizations like the Guttmacher Institute attack the studies that show that abortion pills are dangerous, one needs only look at the unfiltered history to understand their motives.

Adverse Events from Abortion Pill Much Higher than Reported

The National Right to Life issued a report in September 2025 titled Missed, Misclassified, and Minimized: Why Abortion Pill Complications Are Underreported which warned that “women are being harmed, and the dangers are being hidden.” While previous FDA reports have shown that 0.5% of women who take abortion pills suffer serious complications, that number is highly inaccurate. In reality, many women fail to report adverse events because they are encouraged to conceal them. In some cases, they are told they could face prosecution or that friends and family will reprimand them. As a result, when some women visit emergency rooms with complications from the pill, they report it as a spontaneous miscarriage, which has similar symptoms. This is a “coordinated attempt to bury the truth.”

In a video report published by Vice News, an abortionist in New Mexico can be heard telling a woman to lie if she has a complication from abortion pills. “If you have to go to the hospital for any reason, you don’t have to admit that you had the abortion pill; you can say ‘I’m having a miscarriage.’”

A flyer published by ReproAction states, “There is no need to disclose use of pills to medical staff because it may be legally risky.” Their webinar stresses, “The symptoms of an abortion with pills and miscarriage are exactly the same, and the treatment for any kind of complication is exactly the same…. It’s important for people to understand there’s no test for these pills in blood or urine, so if they present with a miscarriage, they can get the healthcare that they need….”

Adverse events from abortion pills are covered up more than people realize, and thus, the number of women who are harmed by abortion pills is widely underreported. In reality, emergency room visits from the abortion pill are estimated to be in the tens of thousands.

Under the Biden Administration, the FDA made the abortion pill widely available. A woman could simply open the mailbox and use these pills to end her pregnancy. Consequently, over 60% of abortions currently are from the use of abortion pills. Since the safety profile of these pills is lacking, this puts women in more danger than ever.

The Truth is Coming Out

Times are changing, however, and the serious harm these pills have caused is coming to light, as well as the brutality of wielding these pharmaceutical weapons against defenseless babies.

Twenty-five years after the FDA approved the widely popular abortion pill, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and FDA Commissioner Marty Makary stated that federal regulators would be reviewing the safety and efficacy of the abortion pill mifepristone. Unfortunately, not long after this announcement, another company, Evita Solutions, was given the green light to produce its generic version. All the while, Evita Solutions describes its mission as being to “destigmatize abortion care globally,” because “reproductive rights” are “human rights.” Thus, the goal is to make abortion normal and accessible to every woman on the planet.

At least 51 US Senators have called on the HHS and the FDA to end the reckless distribution of abortion pills, and to suspend the approval of any new generic versions pending the current safety review. The letter cites the removal of mifepristone safeguards, such as in-person visits, which have “enabled abortion pills to be obtained by abusers, traffickers, and even minors,” as well as the countless injuries suffered by women who take the pill without supervision. The letter stresses that “the abortion-on-demand culture enabled by the Biden administration’s removal of critical safeguards on the only FDA-approved abortion regimen is currently the biggest threat to unborn life in America today.”

Other safety concerns about the abortion pills include:

• The baby age limit was raised from 49 to 70 days (10 weeks).
• Non-physicians are given authorization to prescribe it.
• Adverse event reporting requirements have been reduced. Only deaths must be reported, but not serious complications.
• Prescriptions are given through telemedicine.
• The in-person dispensing requirement has been removed, but mail delivery is allowed.

Americans are Starting to Listen

In the midst of these revelations, some good news is that a national conversation is happening about abortion pills. A recent survey of 1,600 voters (57% of whom described themselves as “pro-choice”) revealed that Americans “prioritize safety protocols for the abortion pill over accessibility to the drug.”

Other good news comes from a debate that was held at Yale University in September 2025. Live Action founder and president Lila Rose, a staunch pro-life defender, debated pro-choice philosopher Frances Kissling. Though the debate took place at a notoriously liberal university, Rose was declared the winner by a vote of 60 to 31.

The pro-choice Kissling “argued that pre-born children are not as valuable as other humans, while Rose defended their humanity and pointed out the injustices that occur when society dehumanizes certain human beings.” Rose explained that “The Nazis called Jews ‘Der Untermensch’ (which means subhuman in German) and considered Jewish and Slavic people to be morally degenerate, uncivilized, and subhuman.” This dehumanization led to mass genocide.

A majority of the audience had ears to hear and sided with Rose, reminding the pro-life movement that today’s youth are willing to listen and even change their minds when presented with compelling evidence.

The Decline of Planned Parenthood

As the fight against the abortion pill continues, dozens of Planned Parenthood clinics are closing. A new survey found that the abortion behemoth has closed at least 61 “murder mills” in 2025. Life News noted, “The survey found 13 states now remain completely abortion-free when it comes to allowing legal abortions (although abortion pill sales from out of state are still a problem).” Troy Newman of Operation Rescue remarked that the results “are nothing short of historic.”

Forty Days for Life and other pro-life organizations continue saving thousands of babies’ lives through prayer campaigns, showing up at clinics, and educating the public about abortion. Live Action, Intercessors for America, and Liberty Counsel are also dedicated to sharing the truth and taking action when it comes to legislation that impacts the unborn. Most importantly, the unseen warriors who take refuge in their prayer closets and cry out for the lives of the innocent are shaking up the spiritual realm in miraculous ways.

God Sides with Life

In this battle for the unborn, we must remember that God is on the side of LIFE. Thus, when we stand with LIFE, we have the most powerful ally in the universe on our side. The overturning of Roe v. Wade was a huge step in winning the war against abortion.

In the end, abortion is a spiritual problem with a demonic stronghold. Forty Days for Life explains, “In 2025, the standard pro-abortion position is that abortion is the answer to all the world’s problems. The environment, poverty, rape, disability, a broken foster-care system, and inflation all are solved by abortion.” But this is a lie from the enemy.

We know that Jesus Christ is the answer, not abortion.

Lord Jesus, the abortion pill’s prevalence is a symptom of a sick society that needs You to become their Great Physician. Abortion is death, but You are LIFE. We pray that the stronghold of abortion would be broken off our nation once and for all. We pray for healing and restoration.
