The holiday season is a time for joy. As families gather around the nation, Christians prepare to celebrate and honor the birth of our savior. Unfortunately, this Christmas may not be as peaceful as we would like.
Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.
The Satanic Temple is back at it again, this time aiming to use the holiday season as its latest excuse to combat Christianity in the public square. The group is hosting an event in Iowa titled “Satanic Holiday Joy at the Iowa State Capitol!” The event promises to be a “family friendly one day event celebrating the holiday season.”

Expect Satanic holiday carols, a large Satanic altar and display, a devilish Sol Invictus/Saturnalia ornament making station, and ritual!

This event isn’t the only thing The Satanic Temple is up to. They’ve also installed a satanic holiday monument outside of the New Hampshire state capitol. The revealing of the statue was streamed live on Facebook. It features an apple in an open palm, a display that the Temple says represents “a quest for knowledge, defiance in the face of arbitrary authority, and our commitment to self-determination.” Members of the Temple chanted “hail Satan” as the tarp covering the depiction was removed.
How Should We Pray?
The Satanic Temple may be trying to attack Christians, but we worship a God Who is bigger than Satan and his followers. We shouldn’t let these wicked displays distract us from one of the most sacred and important holidays on our calendars.
Furthermore, we must remember that The Satanic Temple claims it does not actually worship Satan. However, whether they actually believe in Satan is irrelevant, as we know that Satan believes in them. Their efforts to “advance secularism” are not only offensive to believers, they are also misguided, as the First Amendment does not prevent public displays of Christian faith, Christmas-related or otherwise. Furthermore, their goals certainly line up with the goals of the Enemy as portrayed in Scripture.
To that end, we should pray that none of The Satanic Temple’s attempts to attack or distract from Christianity would stand. We should pray that their plans come to ruin, that their blasphemy stops, and that their efforts to promote leftist talking points are stopped whenever possible. Above all else, we should pray that the Temple’s founders and leaders receive divine revelation, repent of their actions, and turn to Christ.

I believe I’ve seen two movie trailers for satanic type films coming out on Christmas Day or there about. To me it indicates Hollywood’s attempt to get us to look for other spirits than for Emmanuel, the Prince of Peace, Almighty God.
I believe we need to do spiritual warfare by means of prayer and intercession. I see Holy Spirit working in our Nation in ways that are most encouraging and build my hope and expectation that national revival is starting to invade our land and building toward a climatic celebration of Jesus Christ. This being true, I would expect the enemies of Christ to counter this and that he would hope that we would be discouraged. The one true Father God is the natural victor.
Let God arise and scatter his enemies

Father , Let the winds of change blow into that region . Let the winds blow out the plots schemes , tactics and plans of the enemy. Let the winds terrify the enemies camp. Let the winds destroy the enemies voices , because Your voice is over waters , Your voice O’Lord is over many waters , the God of Glory thunders, Your voice is powerful , Your voice is full of majesty , Your voice O’Lord breaks the cedars , Your voice divides the flames of fire. I also ask that those who promote these evil activities would be confronted with Your mercy, love and a conviction that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. May they see Your angels. May these deceived souls be saved from destruction. Glorify Yourself in this season in which we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

My son, who received Jesus as his Savior when he was young, has now become a satanist and he is turning my grandkids against God and against me. I pray fervently for him and his circle of satanist friends.
Amen. Father, I join in the prayer for Mary’s son that he would return to you. Draw his heart to you. Lift the veil and let godly people come into his life. Give Mary wisdom and discernment as to what to say and when to say it and when just to pray. I understand your grief; my older daughter turned to wiccan. We pray for the prodigals to come home!
Mary and Darlene.. my heart goes out to you. As a result of the crime committed against me as a child-,and my resulting behaviors as an adult-,my daughter’s are not in my life at this time. There has been a series of interactions that I will not go into here for the sake of space and time. Fortunately my youngest daughter has had exposure to and accepted a southern, either charismatic- or Pentecostal type Christianity..early in her life. I do not know if it is very deeply rooted in her at this time.
Her older sister..my other daughter- in her confrontational stance at life- in dealing with her own pain-, at least 6 years ago- had acquired and implemented a very strong mental investigative type attitude towards Christianity- and agreed to try out a King James Bible and Concordance I suggested-,instead of going the route with the Jehovah Witness religion,( well actually she did not say she would depart from that but that she would give mainstream Christianity a fair Shake.. I think she really wants to..but it is in so much pain from her childhood) from the result of her grandmother- who was a blessed soul-,and was very grateful for as her grandmother– who was really the most influential and caretaking person in her life-, and, a parenting.. even though it was a grandparenting.. type role

Dear Lord, You are The Eternal and Almighty, whose Word is living and active. And because it is sharper than a double-edged sword, I pray it will pierce to divide the soul and spirit of Mary’s son and family, as well as HJ’s daughters. As You judge their thoughts and intentions, uncover and expose to them what You see. Lord speak a word of faith and truth to each one to accomplish a work beyond belief! Please let Mary and HJ see every knee bow down to You and hear every tongue swear allegiance to You. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, who said with You, all things are possible. May it be so!
