America was dedicated to the Lord on this day, April 26, in 1607. Christian leaders have gathered near the site of that dedication today to re-dedicate America to the Lord (they can’t gather at the site because it is now a high-security military base, but they are very close to it.) The importance of traveling to key sites to pray was reinforced the other night when we saw a solo performance in New York City called *mark ( a solo performance of the Gospel of Mark.). The actor, George Drance, draws a map of first century Israel on the stage floor in chalk, and takes us on the journey with Jesus and his disciples. It struck me that Jesus went out of his way to take his disciples to Caesarea Philippi. We’ve been there several times, and there are ancient altars to one pagan god after the next. The biggie is a tribute to the god Pan in a massive cave known as the Gates of Hell. That was where Peter declared, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God!”

IFA’s New York State Prayer Group gathered to pray at the demonic statues in Madison Square Park and atop the Appellate Division of the State Supreme Court, where my wife and fellow IFA contributing writer Joyce and I prayed shortly after they were installed. There, as a sister state, we also interceded for the Massachusetts State Prayer Group as they anticipate on-site intercession during SatanCon.

Last year Joyce and I prayed at Four Corners, the only place in America where you can pray in four states at once: UT, CO, NM, AZ. I pulled the footage out in anticipation of Four Corners AWAKE! It’s a prayer gathering for Native Americans praying for those four states “for the purpose of declaring the Four States, America & the nations belonging to JESUS as well as requesting the King of Glory to release His spiritual awakening towards Great Harvest everywhere (Psalm 24, Acts 1:8, John 4:35).” They’re gathering on April 19 at 2 p.m. Mountain Time.

This is event is answering our prayers with IFA Contributing Writer Remco Brommet “that the prophesied revival among Native American nations will bring deep healing of the wounds caused by injustices perpetrated against them.”

We do hereby Dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth.
