The Gospel Went Forth at Charlie Kirk’s Memorial Service
On Sunday, tens of thousands of people from across the United States gathered in Arizona to attend Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. Young people, believers, and elected officials alike showed up to honor Kirk and celebrate his life lived in obedience to Christ.

The most significant moment of the event, and the moment that people will talk about for decades to come, was when Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, took the stage. In a powerful display of Christian love, Erika publicly forgave the man who shot and killed her husband. You can see this powerful, emotional moment below:
Erika Kirk forgives the man who murdered her husband:
“My husband Charlie…he wanted to save young men just like the one who took his life…that young man…
I forgive him.

Not only was this a display of Christian love, it was also a powerful display of submission to God’s will. Watching the video, it is clear that Erika struggled to forgive her husband’s killer. However, she still forgave him because, as she put it, “it was what Christ did, and is what Charlie would do.”
Later, Erika put to words what all of us have felt and seen: that Charlie’s death led to revival. As she put it, “we saw people open a Bible for the first time in a decade. We saw people pray for the first time since they were children. We saw people go to a church service for the first time in their entire lives.”

Erika was not the only figure, however, who spoke about her husband. Vice President JD Vance also addressed the crown, commending Charlie Kirk for his boldness and courage. Referencing Kirk’s life and death, he stated, “It is better to die a young man in this world than to sell your soul for an easy life with no purpose, no risk, no love, and no truth.”
Charlie Kirk was a hero to this country and a faithful servant of God.
Every day that we continue his mission is an honor to his memory.

Vice President Vance ended his speech by calling on those listening to honor Kirk by boldly speaking truth. He called Kirk a “hero to the United States of America” and a “martyr for the Christian faith,” asking God to give Americans courage to live as he lived.
Many other Trump administration officials spoke, including Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Secretary Hegseth highlighted Kirk’s faith, discussing how it influenced Turning Point USA. “You see, we always did need less government,” the Secretary shared, “but what Charlie understood and infused into his movement is, we also need a lot more God.”
PETE HEGSETH: ‘Charlie Realized This is Not A Political or Cultural War. It is a Spiritual War’@SecWar explained that in his fight, Charlie Kirk, wanted God to be at the center of it and in the center of people’s lives.

President Trump himself also spoke, sharing his belief that Kirk is now “kneeling at the throne of God.” He told those listening to go forward “strengthened by his faith, bolstered by his courage, and inspired by his example.”
.@POTUS: “We grieve for the friend and leader we have lost. But we go forward strengthened by his faith, bolstered by his courage, and inspired by his example to defend the country he lived for, for the freedoms he died for, and the values in which he so deeply believed.” pic.twitter.com/hx0ASjssiv

Overall, Kirk and his legacy were honored by this event. But, most of all, God was honored by this event. His gospel truth went forth, reaching the tens of thousands that showed up in Arizona and the hundreds of millions who watched online. Some even called the service a revival.
As many continue to mourn Charlie Kirk, let’s pray for them to find comfort in the arms of the eternal King that made Kirk’s life of faithful service possible.

Jesus won, the devil didn’t. Just because the memorial service is over doesn’t mean that what took place during that service on Sunday is finished. No! No! No! What has happened is the beginning of a movement that will sweep across America until every corner of our nation has been touched with a powerful move of God. Joint Christian all over this nation in praying for a movement of God that will change the face of America and turn it back to God.

I was able to watch most of Memorial Service. I don’t believe I have ever seen the Gospel of the Kingdom more eloquently stated by so many different people in one place at one time than during this Service! so many different people from so many different walks of life all saying the same basic message. They all unabashedly were lifting up the name of Jesus and declaring Him as Lord and Savior!! I was so overwhelmed alli could do is cry tears of joy!! My ardent prayer is that this Service will spark a massive Revival not only in this country but around the world that is so desperately needed to bring this country and the world to the throne of Grace!!!
