Over the past weeks, we sat glued to our TVs and watched as rioters sprayed graffiti on buildings in Washington, DC, Minneapolis, Atlanta, and other cities. The angry mobs defaced and tore down our famous statues and memorials. They set fires in our city streets and burned our houses of worship. With no apparent remorse, looters broke windows to enter stores so they could steal TV sets, tennis shoes, and whatever else they could find. All the while, we tried our best to make sense of the anarchy. We looked for a sensible reason to evoke sympathy for the cause of the stealing and destruction of innocent people’s property. But there was nothing, only people mad at anyone and everyone. We wondered why the authorities couldn’t stop the senseless destruction. But the riotous crowd stayed one step ahead of the police. The big question: How do we pray to stop the destruction and rebellion? What is the prayer strategy needed to counter the erratic, out of control behavior?
What if the Father of Modern Day Rioting, Saul Alinsky, gave us the answer on how to engage in effective intercession in his instruction book Rules for Radicals?
This book is a gold mine of revelation for intercessors who know their authority in Christ Jesus. We are the ones who will turn the tide of our nation by our engagement in spiritual warfare at this time in history. Alinsky gives specific instructions on how rioters are not to think but act when they engage in destruction and lawlessness.
“The organizer goes with the action. His approach must be free, open-ended, curious, sensitive to any opportunities, any handles to grab on to, even though they involve other issues than those he may have in mind at that particular time. The organizer should never feel lost because he has no ploy, no timetable, or definite points of reference.”
By design, riots are spontaneous operations, which take the police, and other authorities, outside of the realm of their experience (a favorite Alinsky tactic). The perceptive intercessor will read this passage and will know by the Holy Spirit that Alinsky is instructing rioters on how to unleash the spirits of lawlessness, seduction, and deception. We counter those spirits by acknowledging that Jesus has come in the flesh and has authority over these spirits of darkness (1 John 4).
Also, in his book, Alinsky recognizes the difference between the natural man and the spiritual man. He refers to the natural man as someone who, due to America’s educational system, is rendered helpless in his ability to respond to humans engaged in spontaneous destruction.
“The major problem is trying to communicate this idea is that it is outside the experience of practically everyone who has been exposed to our alleged education system. The products of this system have been trained to emphasize order, logic, rational thought, direction, and purpose…Happenings that cannot be understood at the time or don’t fit into the accumulated ‘educational’ pattern are strange, suspect, and to be avoided….”
Alinsky admits rioting will make no sense to an educated person because he has no rationale for senseless destruction. Neither will it make sense to someone who does not understand spiritual warfare. But there is someone who can counter the spirits of lawlessness, seduction, and deception, and that is the Holy Spirit. Someone who knows how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and engage in spiritual warfare can combat the three spirits.
God, bring to the forefront those who know how to engage the enemy in a spiritual battle. I ask those who know the power of Jesus to join with believers across the world. With boldness, speak to the forces of darkness and destruction over our nation and command them to dissipate. We take the “no plan” of the destroyer to the dimension of God’s plan and decree peace and order. We declare that Jesus will be known to all men everywhere. His love will reign over everyone, even those who are intent on destruction.

Hear the prayers of Your people, Father, We come to You and seek Your Face and Your Ways to fight this battle going on in our nation and around the world. We know as others here have said that PRAISE is a powerful weapon that You have given us. We do praise YOU for all the ways You have blessed this nation. Thank You for abundant food, housing, clothing, technology such as TV, phones, computers,cars, appliances, and other things that make our lives so blessed. Things we take for granted until we see someone who is struggling with homelessness, lack of food, no job, etc. Father, You are the creator, the Almighty Ruler of the universe. Jesus, You are our Savior, Redeemer, Deliverer. Holy Spirit, You are our Comforter, our Counselor, our Teacher, and the Power we need to witness to others. Thank YOU for all these blessings. Father, I thank You for equipping us with Your weapons of worship and praying in the spirit where Holy Spirit knows the mind and will of the Lord and intercedes through us. Thank You for angelic activity accompanying us and leading us into the victory Jesus Christ accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection. We submit to the strategies You’ve given us and praise You Jehovah Nissi our Victory! We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony will glorify Your Holy Name! God, please help us, we are helpless in ourselves to stop this evil. Your people really need you. We need your Son to send his armies of angels to fight this impossible war for us. We are no match for them. Thank you for listening to our prayers and for never giving up on us.

God, we are your warrior Bride! We are told how to dress for this war in Ephesians 6:10-18. The whole book tells us how we are to live. In Acts we are told to tarry until the power of the Holy Spirit comes upon us. When it does, we will be as bold as Peter, as brave as David. We serve the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lord. He puts a fire in our belly and a sword in our hand and praise on our lips as a trumpet of Victory! We are not wimps cowering in a corner, we serve the living God of All the universe. Rise up! Oh Army of God. Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the World! Now is the time to sound the trumpet and shout from the house tops that Jesus is Lord!
Submit yourselves therefore unto God, Resist the Devil and He will Flee from you! James 4:7
It is time for the Church to rise up!
The Lord says, “Send out the praisers.” And who are the praisers? ALL of God’s children.
Sometimes, prayer alone is not enough. Sometimes, the evil is so deeply rooted in a place or land that it requires the spiritual weapons of prayer with fasting (humbling) AND praise, praise, praise and worship. Deeply rooted evil like years and years of shedding of innocent blood through abortion.
As God’s people, we have a GREAT RESPONSIBILITY in the earth to use the authority and spiritual weapons of warfare to confront and defeat the powers of darkness behind the evils of this world.
Again God says, “SEND OUT THE PRAISERS ACROSS THIS LAND!”
Brothers and sisters in Christ who take God for His Word, contact your churches, friends in Christ, and go to a safe place to gather and take turns (shifts) praising the Lord until change is seen. Also with prayer (see prayer to model prayers after below, 2 Chron 20:6-12) and fasting.
I also believe in my spirit this needs to happen all the way up to the elections in November with praisers and prayer AT the polls and fasting, and outside secretary of elections offices – ALL done legally and standing where allowed (e.g. a sidewalk across the street maybe?). Strategic locations that the Holy Spirit will show you.
Gathering in churches to praise is great too, but again, I really feel in my spirit that just like 2 Chron 20:21, “And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing TO the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as THEY WENT OUT before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever.” Be led by the Holy Spirit.
Praise with singing, loud shouts of praise TO the Lord.
The key is TO the Lord! With Words of praise and worship from His Word such as, ““Praise the Lord, For His mercy endures forever,” and “Be blessing and power and glory and honor forever to Him to sits on the throne and unto the Lamb.”
These powers of darkness must be confronted and confused and defeated. For anyone who has eyes to see and ears to hear, those who are creating chaos and destruction (including many governors in this nation) are being inspired by satan and demonic powers and strongholds.
No natural plans of man alone will defeat these principalities and powers of darkness.
MUCH praise and prayer with fasting will. I have no idea how to organize such a plan, but I will try to share it places that have a much larger connection to people through their platforms. God gives Word in part to each of us, so together, He will show us the whole plan. We are a body. We need each other.
Part of defeating a spiritual enemy also includes that more people’s spiritual eyes and ears and minds will be loosed from satan’s grips, etc. as spirits of deception, chaos, murder, etc. are confronted and defeated.
LOOK AT THIS!
And every stroke of the appointed staff that the Lord lays on them [their enemy, Assyria] will be to the sound of tambourines and lyres. Battling with brandished arm, He will fight with them.

Above is an excerpt from a word the Lord gave me yesterday, “GOD’s people across this land! Send out the praisers – Praisers and prayer with fasting needed RIGHT NOW to confuse and rout the enemy – 2 Chronicles 20 (through the elections).”
Praise the Lord God for his never ending holiness and righteousness. You are the answer to all of our problems. May you lead a Great Awakening.
Lord, we cut off and cancel spirits of lawlessness, seduction and deception and replace them with Your Spirit of Truth including righteousness, integrity and character! Christ is Victor!

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country. (read forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, you know, like in China.)
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production. (so that all children can be indoctrinated and inculcated with the government propaganda, like “majority rules”, and “pay your fair share”. Where are the words “fair share” in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26)? The whole philosophical concept of “fair share” comes from the Communist Maxim, “From each according to their ability, to each according to their need!” (The very concept is pure socialism.)
The people (politicians) who believe in these things and pass more and more laws implementing these ideas are traitors to the American Constitution.

Lord, please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground. In Jesus name amen.
Lord, forgive our sins. Give Your children eyes to see and ears to hear and the courage to do Your will. Let us not fight this battle from a position of fear or by our own strength since these ways will bring failure. We ask that You fill us with the Power of Your Holy Spirit! That the battles be fought in the Name of our Resurrected Lord who overcome death to raise us to new life eternal with You! Lord, we can not go to battle without suiting ourselves up with the Armor of Christ! Prepare us and give us confidence and trust that Your victory is secure! Lord Jesus, we love and trust You. I have been thinking about the book Rees Howells Intercessor lately. He and the students at his Bible College in Wales turned their lives over to intercession during WWII and their strategy in prayer and their clear rerouting of the enemy was an amazing thing to read about. We need those people now. I’m in prayer as well, but I doubt I have the gifts or the community of intercessors to be as strategic. Praying through so many of these articles in agreement.
Teresa, the fact that you are on this site shows that you are led by the Spirit of God for the purposes of God. Do not let doubt deceive you, but rather – believe that your prayers move mountains. There is no ‘gift of intercession’ listed in the Bible but rather the divine call of God to pray without ceasing. His sheep hear His voice – listen to what He is speaking to you and pray it back to Him (prophetic intercession). We ask that your ekklesia, ruling kingdom government here on earth, would arise like never before. We have The Authority given to us by you to bind and loose; and according to Isaiah 22:22 authority to open and close doors. Thank you Father for choosing us for such a time as this to stand in the gap for all those who are lost in darkness, for those that you love who are empty shells, who have lost their way. As we bind and loose according to your word we will see the enemy stopped his plans destroyed and souls liberated from his evil plan of Destruction. The Lord had us born for such a time as this. The earth is the Lords and ALL who dwell there in. Governments, masons, illumanaiti and other evil that have entered our churches, schools, media, and jobs Father God knows about all of it because He never sleeps nor slumbers. I thank God for the BLOOD OF JESUS. I remember my grandmother use to clean her house and say the BLOOD OF JESUS in Italian as she cleaned. One day I asked my mom what she was saying. She said grandma is saying the.BLOOD OF JESUS as she cleans the house over and over. I now am a grandmother and a great grandmother I am doing the same in English as I clean and as I pray. The Holy Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us. The Bible in Revelations speaks of the end times. Do not fear our redemption draws near. Lord, thank You for discernment. Help us to work in cooperation with You and Your divine plan. According to Your Word, some things to come will be hard, “perilous times” these are things we don’t “want” but as You prayed in the garden, we pray now, Thy will be done, not ours.
We also know it’s not Your will that any should perish. So, we offer ourselves to You, to use us anyway You desire, to save the savable.

I agree with this article, with you. I also been praying, for years, that God’s children would come together and fast, pray, and worship on a regular basis. The Bible says that we should not give God any rest, but to repent, and intercede, day and night. God bless you 🙏❤️
