I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 4 minutes

There is a rising group of men and women of God who have been hidden but have been prepared for a mission. They are being called by the Spirit of God to prepare a future generation of Kingdom ambassadors that are going to shift culture and transform the earth. Because of the call on their lives, their journey has not been about them, but those following them. The Lord is calling forth history-makers that carry a burden for family and a vision for Kingdom expansion. There are many in this season who are being called as spiritual fathers and mothers to raise up sons and daughters and plant the seeds for emerging nations. If this is you, the Lord is saying, don’t look for your own platform; you are to be a platform for others.

In a day when many seek platforms for their ministry to grow and venues for their voice to be heard, the Lord is raising up men and women of God who have the faith of Abraham to contend for a future generation. These are men and women with a God-given passion, zeal, and prophetic burden for their posterity – their sons and daughters after them. These are present-day “saints of old” whom heaven is drawing, empowering, and granting increased favor to in order to establish a legacy so secure and a generation so powerful, nothing will stop the increase of His government on the earth.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the people of old received their commendation. (Hebrews 11:1-2)

The prophesied sons and daughters that are now emerging in this generation (see Romans 8:19) cannot mature and develop apart from spiritual fathers and mothers who nurture and disciple them. Beyond academic training and ministry development, it is the heart of fathers and mothers to build character from the inside out. They are the ones who walk alongside these future change agents through the various seasons of life to impart the grace, perspective, and needed wisdom to withstand the coming storms. It is these patriarchs and matriarchs that heaven is calling forth with a vision beyond themselves to disciple entire nations (see Gen 17:5). Hebrews Hall of Fame for history-makers is calling forth new candidates with this same vision for heaven’s promise. Are you one of them?

And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect. (Hebrews 11:39-40)

I was recently reminded of a dream where I gave birth to a baby and within a few hours, I was cradling this small child in my arms on top of a platform which I presented to the world. The growth and development of this gifted child happened very quickly, and it was obvious it was supernatural. It was a dramatic illustration that the most powerful platforms needed for the emerging sons and daughters will be established through fathers and mothers. Rather than looking for a platform to speak from, the Lord is saying YOU are that platform from which He is going to build and establish a lineage of rulers and agents of transformation.

Through the story of “Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,” God demonstrated a pattern in establishing His people through at least three generations working together at the same time. God’s first nation was born and bred multi-generationally, paving the way for other nations to follow. In order to secure our inheritance as a royal priesthood and a holy nation (see 1 Peter 2:9) heaven is looking for a people who embrace and esteem fathers and mothers and celebrate multi-generational relationships. The Lord is placing within these fathers and mothers an unshakeable conviction of that which is yet to come – a manifestation of heaven on earth released through their sons and daughters.

And he will go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared. (Luke 1:17)

I also believe that many fathers and mothers that are answering this call are being endowed with long lives and vibrant health so that they can journey with the generations that follow them. This is one reason why many in the Body of Christ have taken greater interest in their personal health, many revising their diets and nutrition in order to be more productive in the years ahead. Heaven has prepared us for this hour as the rising Ekklesia of God is taking ownership in and responsibility for the legacy that follows us.

You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess. (Deuteronomy 5:33)

Honor your father and mother” (this is the first commandment with a promise), “that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. (Ephesians 6:2-3)

To the rising fathers and mothers who fulfill this mission, the Lord is pleased to call you faithful, commended, and anointed with favor and increase! As He brings you sons and daughters, of the flesh and of the spirit, He will provide everything needed to disciple and mentor them to maturity. As you are faithful in the charge, He will reward you with a posterity that outlives and outlasts you. Your reward will be secure and heaven will see you as a history maker. You may be hidden to this realm, but you are already known to a cloud of witnesses that is cheering you on, inviting you to build on this legacy that will endure for all eternity.

I’m in! The Lord has been impressing this on my heart for 25 years and increasing it in fervor and expectancy in recent days. May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!

I do believe there are those with whom God has prepared go be fathers to the fatherless and walk with those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, but need someone to walk with them and be a living example to them of what walking with God looks like. I have walked with many people throughout my life and have been a mother to many. My prayer is that each mature Christian would make it their aim to ask God to send them at least one person to walk with and mentor. If we esteem at least one person better than ourselves and look out for their interest more than our own… how the face of the church would change into the beautiful, healthy body it should be. I pray for the church to stop being “self-ish” and “worldly.” There a people both young and old in the church who are so lonely for someone to talk to. A young woman told me once that she could make a friend easier in a bar than she could in a church. It breaks my heart to know that this is true. It is time to make our cling and election sure, and do what Jesus commanded; He said. “Love one another. as I have loved you.” I pray that the church realizes that this is how the world will know Jezus is real. when the see Him in us in the workplace, in our homes, in our churches. When we chose His way and extend ourselves to others in a genuine way, christ become real to those who know we call ourselves Christians. In that, Christianity is not preached, but demonstrated. The world and even the church, is tired of hearing about Jesus… they want to see Him! It is up to us to show Him to them by our willingness to genuinely love enough to let those who hunger and thirst for righteousness into our lives, and let our walk with Gox influence theirs. In Jesus name. I pray. Amen.

This so resinated in my spirit as I’ve known for several years this I was called to. He blessed me with 5 children and 7+ grandchildren.
But recognizing it goes way beyond my family. God has given me several prophetic words that confirm this for bridging the older generation to the younger. Bringing forth the Light, Life, and Truth to this generation.

Coming in full agreement as expressed our platform is to build and establish a lineage a legacy of prayer. Building up the young in faith in God and Him alone. It is with “unshakeable conviction” praying in fear of my Lord. For my generation who has walked away from the Lord. It is with fervent prayer believing the Lord will hear my prayer as He did for Abraham to pulled Lot out of Sodom.
It is with “unshakeable conviction”, praying in agreement with younger mothers, older mothers, and corporate prayer believing for the generation before us.

In I Kings11:9, Solomon turned from the Lord, but God spoke in 11:31…Behold, I will tear the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon…..v34 However I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand, because I have made him ruler all the days of his life for the sake of My servant David, whom I chose because he kept my commandments and My statutes. v36- And to his son I will give one tribe, that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My name there. ( May our lamps remain full in prayer petitioning along side the younger, equipping them to be great men and women of faith). May we remain faithful to the precepts of God with fear, repentance, and reverence not forsaking our call.
David is a great example of a man prayer and faithfulness. He may of sinned, but always repented and “never took His eyes off the Lord”. God honors this kind of fear and reverance to abide and walk in His precepts and come to Him and live for Him.

Our new testment example is Jesus Christ… John 17:9″ I pray for them, i do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. v10″ And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them. v11-” Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

May we be as those before us,… we see their example of passing the paton of prayer.

Thank you for this article, timely, where we see more, and more platforms arising. Let us not miss the mark, for our focus in prayer is for the burden of the generation beyond us and beyond us. ” And to Him All the Glory”

PRAYING GOD’S WILL BE DONE AND HIS KINGDOM COME. MAY WE ALL WORK AS UNTO THE LORD BRINGING GLORY TO GOD IN THE DAILY ROUTINES SET BEFORE US, THOSE HE HAS BROUGHT TO US, AND THOSE WHO ARE TO COME. MAY WE NOT GROW WEARY IN DOING GOOD BUT IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR HE IS OUR ROCK AND PROVIDER, PROTECTOR IN THIS BATTLE THAT BEGAN BEFORE US AND WILL CONTINUE AFTER US UNTIL HE COMES AGAIN. FOR JESUS’ NAME SAKE NOW AND EVERMORE – I PRAY – AMEN AND AMEN

Yes, I believe He is calling men and women to “pave the way” in prayer, to “make ready” this next generation. May God raise up youth who love Him, His Word, and stand up for what is Right and True. May God equip them for how He wants to use them. May God give these mentors wisdom, discernment, and love for these dear ones. May revival break out and may God be glorified in a mighty way in and through this generation.

Our nation needs men and women (Patriarchs and Matriarchs) who will embrace the call to mentor this new generation, many of whom have been taught to reject Christ by our education system. This is spiritual warfare for the hearts and minds of the youth that are emerging as business men and women, elected officials and dads and moms. The question was asked: “Are you one of them?” I would ask, “How would I know?” Who wouldn’t like to impact this millennial generation with the spirit of truth?
