According to a new study, Abortions dropped by 50% in Texas in the month after the heartbeat bill was passed.
In August, 5,377 legal abortions were performed in Texas.
That number plummeted to 2,164 in September. . . .

Dr. Allison Gilbert, a physician and medical director at the Southwestern Women’s Surgery Center in Dallas called the events “devastating.” . . .
The Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments on Monday, November 1, regarding the constitutionality of the Texas Heartbeat Act, which effectively bans abortions in the state after six weeks gestation when a fetal heartbeat is detected.
In a surprising order last week, the Court granted review – called a writ of certiorari – sought by several abortion clinics, including Whole Women’s Health and various Planned Parenthoods. Although the Supreme Court granted certiorari before judgment several times during the Trump administration, typically multiple years pass without the justices short-circuiting the normal process of appellate review.

Lord God In jesus Name, I pray for your mercy ,in that you will be with us as we are praying that the Texas court will stand against evil ,and uphold life,that any body involved,the judges,and related persons, attorneys,will be filled with the mercy-, your holy spirit brings in imparting goodness and life to all who seek you, and that babies will be protected, and abortion will be ended. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the privilege of praying for the life of unborn persons. I appreciate the push back of darkness that has allowed the Heart Beat Law. However, we want to end Abortion all together.
We pray for further push back and victory in Christ to defeat the Abortion spirit.
That the voices pleading for the lives and personhood of the unborn would be heard in heaven. Father that you would respond by granting favor to all those in positions to be the voice of the unborn person especially in the courts.
Father would you confront laws that have hurt life, marriage and families and restore righteous to these your pillars of society.
Raise up Your standard for the life of unborn persons in the hearts of your people and the hearts of America, that the most vulnerable people in the womb deserve our protection and right to birth.
Father bring deliverance to women who believe the lies of Planned Parenthood and the distortions of theit ideal feminist woman. Forgive them for believing these lies and we repent for ourselves for not seeing the truth and coming to their rescue.
Please end abortion and introduce a Bill of Rights for Unborn Persons to be passed by both Federal and State law.
I pray that we not stop in the courts until we “slay the dragon and cut off it’s head” as David did to the Goliath in his society.
Through Christ’s shed blood help us destroy and purge our land of abortion and the perversion and deviant sexual behaviours which led us to this evil against our offspring. We repent with all our hearts for our unclean ways. Wash us and we will be white as snow. God bless the Body of Christ in this hour. Amen

As I listened to 3 conservative Supreme Court Justices speak about this bill, I realized I did not understand the ramifications of this bill. They are not deciding if abortion is legal or not or when abortion should be denied. They are looking at the process laid out showing how we as “lay” citizens maybe come involved in stopping abortion. The process that is set forth opens the door for other areas of our lives to be overtaken by the same process when those areas are not against God’s Word. I need to look further into the depth of this bill and not at what I see as “face value” about abortion. Abortion is wrong at all times.
This is a huge step in the right direction. Praise God that the legislators have changed the law in Texas regarding abortion. I pray, Lord Jesus, that You will pour out Holy Spirit upon the SCOTUS judges as they deliberate this week regarding this important piece of legislation. Please, give our Supreme Court justices wisdom and discernment in their decision-making. Lord, You alone know how important that this decision will be for the future of this nation. Let Your holy will be done. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Lord we pray that the Texas Heartbeat bill will stand, and not be defeated, in Jesus’ name.
Unfortunately residents from Texas are coming to New Mexico daily for abortions.
This is going to happen, until New Mexico passes legislation regarding abortion. This is why this ruling by SCOTUS is so important and significant!
