We are living through a series of historic moments that, when combined and perceived years from now, will portray the battle for this country’s soul.
As Donald Trump walked onto the stage on the final night of the Republican National Convention, he was a visibly changed man. Just five days after being shot, the look in his eyes was more captivating than the prominent bandage over his ear. He appeared genuinely humbled, a trait most would not ascribe to him.
His novel down-to-earth-ness could not be mistaken for weakness or fear because it was manifestly tethered to an up-from-heaven-ness:
I’m not supposed to be here. I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of almighty God.

With astounding calm, confidence, and visible gratefulness, he delivered a speech that transcended politics, surpassed personality, and did something rarely seen in the public square: It offered an invitation to courage.
A near-death experience does that to a person. It’s like being at an eye exam when the optometrist flips the lens you are looking through:
Which is better, this one [flip] or this one?
In this case, the [flip] was an assassin’s bullet.
I could have died five times in my life. I overdosed so severely on Ibuprofen in an Ironman race that my doctor told me, “I’ve seen people die in very stupid ways. You almost died in the stupidest way possible.”
While free-soloing a cliff in college, I had to hang on to a crack in the rock for an hour, awaiting rescue. In 1996, on Denali, I broke a golden rule of alpine mountaineering and began to slide down the face of the mountain to the glacier 4000 feet below. By the grace of almighty God, I miraculously grabbed a fixed line I was not clipped into and self-arrested my fall.
I was also in two severe car accidents. In one, the voice of the Lord spoke to me seconds before the crash, and that divine directive saved my life.
These events are branded upon my soul in tangible and unforgettable ways, so profoundly that memories flash at the most unexpected times.
A most remarkable observation of Donald Trump’s speech: He did not give off a hint of PTSD. There he was, essentially reenacting the assassination event by standing behind a podium in front of tens of thousands of people, yet he entirely owned the moment. Bravery is not the right word to describe what we saw, although it was brave. Something different was on display for those curious enough to lay down their arms and seek it.
The media pundits who are telling us the assassination attempt was a staged photo opp or that Biden contracting COVID is equivalent to Trump getting shot are not only holding tightly to their arms: Their consciences are seared to a crisp.
Both David Dutch and James Copenhaver were critically wounded at the rally, and Corey Comperatore was killed at the scene. As Trump described talking with each of their families, we could hear in his voice how dreadfully close he came to a similar plight.
Be leery of those who frame this story around political victory or loss. There is a profoundly more urgent matter at hand: We are the audience to wicked spiritual rulers vying for our attention, aiming to lure our minds and secure our devotion. This is why we should always invite the Holy Spirit to help us understand and discern events beyond the headlines, chyrons, and memes.
When I look at the picture of Trump bleeding on the ground behind the podium, I hear Jesus’ words:
Take up your cross [flip] and follow me.
Matthew 16:24
Say what you will. This man carries a cross, and few would dare attempt it. We may never know everything that happened while he was on the ground, dog-piled by Secret Service agents. But I do believe this was a baptism of sorts, and when he emerged with his latest cross upon his shoulders, he arose as a new man. And our collective prayer should be that he will follow Jesus like he never has before.
These are not just words about a presidential candidate you may support or resist. These are the sights and sounds of an invitation presented to each of us — every day.
This hour’s metaphors, principles, revelation, and inspirational signposts are endless, so now, more than ever, may we understand and perceive the times we live in. May we pray for our leaders and ask The Lord to heal our nation. May we desire to embrace the [flip], seek calm confidence, and walk humbly with our God.

I have wrestled with the question “what can I do to fight and push back against the evil I see in our country?”. I have mourned the loss of the good lifestyles that I grew up in—not based on income, but our overall well-being and standing with God Almighty! This article was helpful in defining how I can stand and fight against evil, whether it is seen in spiritual battles only, or in people who are evil in their spirits, lies, and acts—each requires a skill of fighting that can assure victory—the victory being God’s already, with Christians being the transporters of what each fight requires. If we listen, the Holy Spirit. will show us what skill is needed and how to bring it to each fight! Thank you, God Almighty, for the victory plan!
I pray for all our leaders and their families for divine protection, also ask you to heal our nation of the evil that is in so many hearts. For more people to know what the right thing is to do. Love instead of hate, share the truth instead of lies. Pray for God’s Blessing to be on the leaders of our country.
Heavenly Father, our lives are intrinsically intertwined with You. Please help us all be humbled by Your power and glory. You are seeking to draw all of us into personal relationship with Jesus that empowers us to fulfill Your will. Oh God may we fall at Your feet, confess our sins of rebellion,, pride, self-seeking and turn to You for true life, liberty and freedom.
America is at a very dangerous crossroad. Thank each of you for your prayers. I pray our churches will form prayer groups for this great nation.
That God will hear our prayers and answer our petitions to save America according to our forefathers plans. That God will allow our Constitution and the Bill of Rights to be saved. May we repent and ask for forgiveness so God Almighty can heal our land.
I am so thankful Our Heavenly Father, Our Messiah Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit moved to save
President Trump’s life. As his ear was nipped by the bullet, I pray that through a “MOVE of THE
HOLY SPIRIT” he would have ears to HEAR what the Holy Spirit is saying because I do NOT see the
fruit of Christian values in what the NEW TRUMP PRO-CHOICE, PRO GAY MARRIAGE and PRO-
PAGAN PRAYERS agenda is embracing. Jesus quoted from The Shema, “SHEMA (Hear & Obey) O Israel,
YHWH Your God is ONE. You shall love YHWH Your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength…
and you shall love your neighbor as yourself” as the FIRST and GREATEST COMMANDMENT.
We are grafted into the WHOLE-HEARTED DEVOTION which Christ requires. My heart was grieved that
at this crucial time, when national repentance is NEEDED…Trump switched the Republican Party, which
has been so weak and not serving us very well in the past few years…would SWITCH to being PRO-CHOICE.
I asked God, “what is Your Perspective? How shall I pray about this!?” I heard the Holy Spirit say,
“DOUBLEMINDEDNESS”. Go and pull up all the Biblical verses on DOUBLEMINDEDNESS….whoa!
DOUBLEMINDEDNESS is not condoned by Our FAITHFUL and TRUE and UNCHANGING GOD.
Trump has FLIPPED from the things he ran on previously. The night BEFORE the convention his family
was on a 4 hour prayer call–but they FAILED to REVEAL they would be turning the party PRO-CHOICE
the next morning! They failed to mention that Biblical Christians would be locked out of many of the
committees. If they were so PROUD of their new program of being “pro choice and pro abortion”–
why not TELL all the INTERCESSORS on that prayer call! DOUBLEMINDED.
Vance is a Catholic who has now turned to accept many pro-abortion things?!? He also once hated Trump
and now is his running mate(!?!) (GOSH–couldn’t Trump have found someone else who was MORE STABLE–
we must pray he does not betray Trump since he seems to flip-flop.) DOUBLEMINDED.
How interesting that Trump ran on a PRO-LIFE PLATFORM last time, and NOW….AFTER…AFTER his life was SAVED by
Christ….he is NOT standing for LIFE–nor traditional marriage nor honoring Christ by bringing in Hindu
gods. LET us cry out that he repents and somehow TURNS from embracing these things…God saved
his life for much better plans than this new TRUMP-GOP platform! Trump is well loved by conservatives,
there was NO need for him to cast aside the unborn to gain more votes. GOD WOULD HAVE BLESSED
him even MORE for standing up for LIFE for us and our children. I cannot understand why he did this–
except to pander to more votes.

Yes, follow Christ and FOLLOW the BIBLE–not the Trump-GOP pro-abortion, pro gay marriage and pro-pagan prayers
party which kicked out many pro-lifers from ANY of the committees. GOD does not need an election to TURN OUR
NATION AROUND–“not by might, not by power–BY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT!” (Zach 4) we cry out!
FOLLOW THE ACTUAL WORD of GOD–LET there be UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST via the WORD of GOD.
There is no power when you compromise, twist, distort, add to, delete or mock YHWH or CHRIST via pagan prayers
and also mock the HOLY WORD of GOD. Why aren’t more Christians grieved about this!?!
Perhaps more people need to go read Revelation 2 and 3 and see that Jesus is SERIOUS when it comes to sin at
the End of the Age! Grace is so that we can OVERCOME…NOT COMPROMISE!
Out of love for what Trump has endured…and concern that whoever is around him may also be lacking in FAITH
and thus he is NOT getting GODLY COUNSEL and INTEL…please continue to POUR OUT YOUR HEART to GOD and
BEG that the FRUIT of REPENTANCE may be SEEN and that ALIGNMENT WITH LIFE (DEUT. 30) will occur.
Do you realize now that NEITHER POLITICAL PARTIES in AMERICA are PRO-LIFE! Grieve over that!
Our Pilgrim Ancestors from 1630 gave vows using Deut. 30 that America would bring GLORY to GOD.
The STANDING, PRAYING, OBEDIENT and REPENTANT EKKLESIA is now MORE crucial than ever.
If we cannot align or voices (our votes) with this new party–we can PRAY and HEAVEN will hear because
we are NOT embracing the “Ba’al influences-Jezebel influences” which have arisen.
It is not pretty speeches nor the LOOK on our faces which reflects if someone is actually CHANGED.
USE the PLUMBLINE of THE WORD of GOD for discerning if someone has ACTUALLY CHANGED.
What are the FRUITS of his deeds showing that he is walking in Christ?
He HAD time to turn around–after GRACE was shown to him–to SHOW GRACE to the voiceless
in the womb…to stand with Christians–whose prayers and votes he seems to WANT–but in how
he strong-armed and orchestrated pushing for unChristian agendas… now appears to slap those
same people who have prayed for him–for YEARS-during all his battles!
He persisted in approving a pro-abortion pill, refuses to push for a ban of abortion up to 15 weeks and only
supports a ban on LATE TERM abortion. Why is no one noticing that just as Biblical Christians
were silenced in the NEW PRO CHOICE GOP—that they THEN had PAGAN PRAYER offered! YHWH
does NOT share HIS GLORY with another…I feel sorry for any Christian who bowed their head
“to receive the prayer of the one true Hindu Sikh god” over themselves! THERE IS ONLY TRUE
GOD , YHWH and not that pagan one which was prayed to. If you truly believed in Christ and were
FILLED with the HOLY SPIRIT–you would not accept such a prayer-nor approve it. UNITY in multiple
gods and drawing “a little of this and a little of that” is called SYNCRETISM a mixture which Jesus
hates–it does not bring people into the LIGHT of CHRIST to keep them in pagan worship.
In Deut 30, YHWH said “CHOOSE LIFE and PROSPERITY,
not death and destruction for you and your children.
Was Jesus pro-abortion? Was God pleased when Israel “passed their children through the fire”?
Does Our Heavenly Father allow abominations and sexual perversions–does that please HIM?
President Trump was excellent, pre “C-19”, in bringing financial prosperity back to our country.
However, we must not confuse excellent administration skills with actually walking with Christ
and bearing fruit which aligns with GOD’s WORD. My heart has been so saddened that it appears
many people are now willing to APPROVE and embrace ANYTHING Trump “rubber-stamps”.
If people “idolize him” that is NOT good or helpful to Trump’s soul.
He showed amazing COURAGE after the assassination attempt. LET’s “FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!”
for Our Christian Heritage. Let’s FIGHT for Christian values and for LIFE! LET’s FIGHT to keep
our VOWS to GOD–for “BLESSED is the nation whose GOD is YHWH”…not that Hindu god. (Psalm 33:12)
Let us pray that he has the COURAGE to bow his knee and his will to fully obey Christ–so that EVERYTHING
written in his Book of Life—that such things could be made manifest in his life and Trump could fully
serve God NOT according to man’s thoughts or plans…but the plans of the Heart of The Father.
As Christians…there is only ONE GOOD SHEPHERD and ONLY ONE KING of kings!
ONLY ONE VOICE we can FOLLOW and OBEY.
“Choose this day whom you will serve…as for me and my house We WILL SERVE YHWH!
(Joshua 24:15). God is looking for those with hearts like CALEB and JOSHUA…and DANIEL
and ESTHER. Let us pray that YHWH “turns Trump’s heart like the channels of a river in the
palm of His Hand.”

STAND in the UNCHANGING TRUTH for God will honor those who obey and SHINE THE
LIGHT Of HIS TRUTH in this present chaos, for Our God is not a god of confusion! LET us
pray for our president…for dreams, visions and visitations to turn his heart FULLY to CHRIST.
It seems that speaking up about how many have shifted AWAY from Christians values is
very unpopular…but as per Ezekiel 33–I sound the alarm that we need to surrender to Christ
even more in these days and cry out for those “don’t have eyes to see” what these shifts mean.

I had seen Biden’s heart on the day of his election BUT something happened to him- a stroke—I think he has had another one recently NOT Covid! Power corrupts and foreign money misled him. I perceive Jill Biden, as First lady, missed her chance to advocate with American educators; she did not move public education towards reform!

My prayer friends and revelatory friends always said DT was God’s choice, but only in these past few weeks can I pray for him, believing his experience has, indeed, changed him. The lies in the media regarding Biden’s condition create nausea in my gut! Absolute distortions and KH…look at her record in CA and her record at the border! Her allignment with GN from CA IS a total travesty bc Californians can tell you their state has been ruined by his administration’s policies; his handsomeness- often a reason people will unknowingly vote for a candidate, IS irrelevant. SO- BE bold and stand your ground. BE in CHRIST, daily RENEW your mind, empty yourself of SELF-life, and PUT on the WHOLE ARMOR of GOD that you may discern the TIMES and PRAY FREVENT and EFFECTIVE prayers! Know our God is in full control of all that happens and that He moves in all our lives with great wisdom and power. We can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. IT was that slight turn of the head that caused him to miss the bullet to the brain! Now, please Lord, please turn his head to view the TRUTH of your WORD and consecrate him fully unto your will which I know you have for this amazing man. We give you all the glory in Jesus’ name. Yes, I entirely agree with Keith’s article. Let’s remember God is no respecter of persons. It also takes some courage for Karmala to come forward and stand in front of crowds in the present atmosphere. She needs our prayers for safety, if not for victory! Many of our leading politicians are confused and need prayer for clarity of vision and deeper understanding of the issues of the day. But God bless Donald Trump!
Yes, God calls us to pray for ALL of our leaders, whether we agree or not. We can pray she sees her need for the Lord and need to completely rely on HIM! We can pray that she will not be blinded by her pride and lust for power and control, if there is any in her heart. There will be backlash from both sides bc the evil one seeks ANY hearts that walk in unforgiveness to infiltrate and attempt to use human personalities to fulfill Kingdom of Darknes agendas. Heavenly Father, we come to you humbly asking You to continue to protect President Trump, his family, his staff and all Americans. We thank You for all You have done for us as a country, as a nation. Please help us to walk in Your ways, to seek Your will. Jesus is our example, please help each of us to try daily to be more like Him. In His holy name we pray. Amen.

I am so grateful for the prayers of godly people for President Trump.
God has laid out, for all who have eyes to see, the scope of evil that is
against His people. For those that are watching and listeniing for His
Word on everything, He has spoken and will keep on speaking His Truth.
When I try to think of all that is within my spirit, I fail to be able to put it
into words. Mostly, we cannot hold back anything, but must surrender it
all to Him and that is what taking up our cross signifies.
Thank You, Lord for the privilege of serving You, and thank You for
delivering us from evil; in Jesus Mighty Name and for His sake and via
presenting all the I AM of Jesus to You. Father. Thy will be done. Amen.

Keep us grounded in that experience so that Donald Trump and all of us may walk humbly yet boldly in Your name. All the glory to You for saving Donald Trump‘s life and letting millions witness to it.

Father God, I lift up President Trump to you for your protection and guidance. We know it was your divine hand that saved his life that day and I believe he does too. May he never forget whose he is and may he seek to please you and glorify you in every move he makes. Father you have given him a marvelous combination of skills and traits, suited perfectly for such a time as this. Always go too Him in prayer and seek His face in all things. Thank you for loving America and the people enough to take this task on as our President.
