Social media censorship is at an all-time high. De-platforming, cancel culture, and surveillance is increasing to levels many of us never thought we would see in America. There is more coming. Just look to our neighbor to the north, and our western allies across the pond. It is even more repressive and shocking what is happening there—and it may be headed to America under the current administration, who has the mindset that we need surveillance to be safe and compliance to be secure. Read these two reports below with the mindset for prayer. We know that we are seeing radical changes to our freedoms–let’s pray against even more intrusiveness and control and pray for a spirit of freedom to break forth in our nation.
According to The Burkean, “Marketed as a multiplatform analytical tool to evaluate speech and facial patterns in order to create visual mapping for authorities and identity suspects, ROXANNE is a new breed of surveillance technology in the process of development and currently being backed by both An Garda Síochána and the PSNI to bring into use.
An acronym for Real time netwOrk, teXt, and speaker ANalytics for combating orgaNized crimE, it was announced in November the Republic’s involvement in the project currently being developed in Switzerland.
A biometrics-based platform ostensibly to monitor and crackdown on organized crime, an additional application of ROXANNE which its creators advertise freely is the ability to monitor those guilty of alleged hate speech and political extremism.
A product of the EU funded Horizon 2020 to foster new surveillance technology, ROXANNE works across social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube as well as normal telecommunications platforms to identify, categorise, and track faces and voices enabling authorities to paint a more in-depth picture of the network being investigated, whether it be in relation to criminal activity or those deemed politically extreme. . . .
Developed at the Swiss Idiap Research Institute, ROXANNE is a transnational collaboration effort between European and Israeli policing agencies as well as some private sector entities. . . .
Irish participation in the project was confirmed by Minister McEntee under questioning in the Oireachtas from Social Democrat TD Catherine Murphy. In a subsequent statement outlining the state’s involvement with the project, An Garda Síochána released the following statement to the Belfast Telegraph.
“It is important (we) partake in EU projects that strengthen and enhance the capabilities and capacity of Ireland’s national police and security service to combat international and transnational serious and organised crime, in addition to combating threats against the security of the state“
Irish involvement on both sides of the border with ROXANNE received disapproval from left wing TD Richard Boyd Barrett, questioning the inclusion of the Israeli Ministry of Public Security due to their record on human rights. . . .
In September of last year, the first field test of ROXANNE was conducted with sample casework being provided by Czech Police pertaining to a narcotics network. A sample of phone numbers relating to an alleged drug syndicate were run through the programme which provided analysis in terms of speech recognition and location with a broader picture being created of the nexus under investigation by compiling hundreds of phone calls. The end result was to provide investigators with a better understanding of the group and to automatically highlight parts of the call transcripts that were of interest to them automatically.
While the field test was trialed solely on phone calls, ROXANNE is advertised as also being able to uncover the creators of so-called ‘hate or propaganda speech’, no matter the platform. . . .
Governed by a variety of statutes, the surveillance of private individuals is a rather murky world but once which gives authorities a wide berth from which to operate on both jurisdictions of the island.
This is all occurring in the context of enhanced surveillance on right wing groups across Europe, with German authorities likely to rule in favour of allowing security forces to formally put the nation’s primary opposition party the AfD under surveillance for alleged extremism this month. . . .
Whether ROXANNE will be deployed against political targets as well as members of organised crime awaits to be seen. However, as the recent history of this state validates, surveillance can become very politicised very quickly in the confines of our security establishment. Regardless, even the potential for such a tactic to be quickly rolled out is a hint to the extent to which the general stakes of this all are about to be raised. . . .
BIG BROTHER is also alive and well in the realm of healthcare. Those of you who scoff at the reality of “covid camps” may be surprised to learn that even in western nations, there has been increased overreach of personal rights all in the name of safety. And yes, “COVID camps” exist– there is (at least) one in Canada. How many others are out there, disguised as “voluntary” or simple quarantine processes. The following account from Steve Duesing in the Toronto Sun, shares his first-hand experience in a COVID internment facility.
“I am not allowed to leave the room,” [Steve Duesing] said. “There is a guard at the end of the hall.”
So, he must remain in a ninth-floor hotel room while waiting for the results of a COVID test he was forced to take. . . . “But I was told I can’t order in food,” said Steve.
He’s effectively incarcerated.“It feels like that,” he said. “I don’t have any say in it.”
The worst part is before he left from visiting a friend in North Carolina, he got a COVID-19 test as required by new rules.
“It cost me $130,” he said. “I tested negative.” . . .
“I was escorted by police to a shuttle bus and taken to this hotel, which is fenced off from the public.”
It definitely has a detention centre feel to it. There is a barrier preventing anybody from coming and going and a security detail checks every vehicle entering the property.
It’s a lonely, solitary existence, added Steve. “I should be allowed to leave at 10 p.m. tonight (Tuesday).” . . .
If he had a fever or cough, perhaps precautionary measures of some kind could be taken.
But taking away someone’s liberty is obscene. . . .
A notice in his room said, “You must remain in your assigned room and are required to limit face-to-face contact with others outside of your immediate room assignment.”
“I don’t have any symptoms,” said Steve. “I am angry, but other than that, I’m fine.” . . .
But he worries about the eight other people taken off his American Airlines flight, and dozens of others, inside this hotel. ”Some cried and said they would lose their jobs or didn’t have babysitters,” he said. . .
“It’s very annoying, but I couldn’t imagine going through this with a family or having people waiting for me,” he said. . . .

Lord, protect the freedom we still experience in our nation today. Give us Your strength and encourage our weary hearts.
I read the old ministries. Leonard Ravenhill says in his book WHY REVIVAL TARRIES that in the 1920’s his church in England met twice a week .He says the people prayed into the morning hours, crying out to God with tears over the lost. Where are these churches today? Do we really believe God answers prayer? Do we even know HOW to pray like our ancestors did? The Lord says His house shall be called the “house of prayer”–NOT the house of praise or preaching or fellowship, etc. PRAYER IS THE FIRST PROGRAM AS ALL THINGS COME OUT OF PRAYER! Bus loads of Christians going to Washington D.C. amounts to “emergency prayer.” How much does God honor it? He wants His Churches laboring in prayer and fasting regularly, to PREVENT dangers–not emergency prayers after the dangers are woven into a tight spider’s web. Our God is merciful, but we must do things God’s way and return to the “old paths.”
The enemy has come in like a flood but we God lift up His standard against this evil. Father God we praise You for we know You are the answer and we cry out to You for forgiveness for allowing all this evil to come in for we have been blind and have gone our own way, doing our own things and now we are in dire need of Your help. Forgive us Lord and cause all Your people to rise up out of their distresses and remember You are our god and You will save Your people If we would turn from our wicked ways and call upon You. Lord, we ask Your mighty angels to surround our Godly leaders and give them strength and courage to stand strong in the battle for our freedoms. We know You will bring this evil down and will restore Your people to strength to stand strong for the battle is not ours but Yours but You have called us to trust You and lean not to our own understanding and now we will praise You for the outcome. Your Word is trueth and You are the way, trueth and the LIfe. Oh, Praise the Lord, for He is mighty to save us all who will trust Him. Halleujah, praise Him in times of trouble in times of peace. glory to God.

When you use the term “COVID-CAMPS”, it sounds so horrible and scary. This is my city.
In Australia, travellers are greeted with a gunned personnel and escorted to a hotel for their entire quarantine. As a result, their cities have zero cases of COVID and people are enjoying their lives.
On this side of the pond, we are shut up in our residence with no where to go because businesses and schools are closed, except for essential services. We live in a “hot” spot. We don’t know who has Covid-19 and everyone is suspect. Note: I am not personally fearful.
People had the choice to self quarantine after they arrived back from their vacations. Now, I don’t know for sure, but it is believed they were not following this expectation to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Now, the government are worried about the new COVID strains that traveller are importing and so, they have more strict. The government are people too and they are fearful.
Some people are very afraid about catching covid. People get off the sidewalk and walk on the street to avoid contact with you. That is the level of fear here. The measures taken in the camp are what is expected anywhere, self-isolation. Besides the brief stay was paid for by the government, but now it will be out of your own pocket. $2000 for three nights while you await your test results. It is a prohibitive measure.
I am not defending the government, but the measures being taken is public information and anyone who travels know what will be required of them when they return.
It is tough.
I don’t think that the governments have become monsters. At least we are not being held up in our houses and apartment at gunpoint which is what they did in China. You would be beaten for leaving your house or apartment.
People still have a choice. Well, no international flights are available for now, so they can’t go anywhere.
No need to fear.

Lord thank you that no matter what people try to do they will not stop Your word/truth from getting out. YOUR WORD WILL NOT BE CHAINED OR IMPRISIONED! Please intervene as only You can do to get truth out to people. Amen.
It seems to me that addressing these threats directly and openly leads to becoming enmeshed in the environment where the perpetrators are in control, and, thus, we loose. By “we” I mean the Christian community concerned about freedom to live out and voice Biblical values. The guarantees of freedom given by The Constitution of the United States of America can no longer be claimed as valid in our current culture. Again, direct efforts to restore those guarantees enmesh us in the “swamp” environment of the perpetrators who are in control. A sad example is that Mr. Donald J. Trump suffered the consequences of the D.C. swamp being deeper than he knew before entering it in “real time” as President. Our struggle is with satan and his minions in the “heavenlies” where we fight spiritual battles. My notes from Dr. Prince’s recent message include a paraphrase: “The believers on earth are the ones who eventually get the devil down, assisted by angels. We procure the final defeat and casting down of satan by declaring what God says in His Word.” Yesterday I began by declaring Zeph. 3:17 in the first person. Does this resonate with (or, aggravate) any of you? I will appreciate your comment.
The Zeph. scripture didn’t, at this point, resonate with me one way or the other but it may over time. But I do agree with vyour comment and that we, as Christians, must continually address the strongholds that are present in the war we face daily. Derek Prince knew that and shared that truth with us for those very reasons.
