Lord, we thank You for curbing the unconstitutional power of the administrative state. We thank You for guiding our Supreme Court.

Can the administrative state try defendants without involving juries? The Supreme Court answered this question with a resounding no.

From The Epoch Times. The Supreme Court ruled against the Securities and Exchange Commission’s use of in-house administrative courts, holding that defendants who face civil penalties must receive a jury trial under the Seventh Amendment of the Constitution.

“A defendant facing a fraud suit has the right to be tried by a jury of his peers before a neutral adjudicator,” the majority opinion, authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, read. …

The case, SEC v. Jarkesy, was one of several challenging the administrative state’s power in the 2023–2024 term. The agency penalized Mr. Jarkesy for violating securities fraud law. He challenged the courts for their lack of juries and for allegedly not receiving proper authorization from Congress.

Chief Justice Roberts was joined in the 6–3 decision by Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. …

Father in your mighty name thank you for this ruling for citizens to have their cases tried by jury. May all the Supreme Court Justices who ruled in this case be protected from retribution. Now let us pray for the J-6 defendants (around 300) who were not given due process be heard now. They’ve been in the DC gulag for 3 years. Most of them are innocent. Thank you Father that you hear our prayers and answer our prayers (in your time). Amen and Amen. Let’s continue to drain the DC swamp (alphabet agencies) who are bureaucrats who have power be dissolved and done away with. They have too much power. Amen

Praise the Lord. Our agencies have gained too much power over the years. They ignore the Constitution and change the laws to fit what they want to pursue. Thank you, Jesus.
