SUPPORTING THE CONSTITUTION NOW GETS YOU FIRED?
Due process is one of the most basic and fundamental human rights in our society. The ability to defend yourself from accusations, to present evidence in your defense, to question the evidence against you, and being considered innocent before proven guilty are all hallmarks of the legal system.
For the past decade, however, those constitutional rights have been under attack, and those attacks have now resulted in someone being fired simply for suggesting someone else be entitled to due process before decisions about them be made.
Brooklyn Center City Manager Curt Boganey was fired on Monday, just hours after he suggested the police officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright in Minneapolis should receive due process before being fired. . . .
After firing Boganey, the Brooklyn Center city council expressed fears that Boganey’s comments about due process might cause the city to further descend into violence.
After the city council voted to fire Boganey, Council Member Kris Lawrence-Anderson admitted that Boganey was doing a “great job” but she feared that the violent mob would personally attack her if she didn’t vote to fire him, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. . . .

THE KING IS WEARING NO CLOTHES!
Every city needs a “Holy Spirit” squad, so to speak, to pray and defend neighborhoods by walking the streets; and this group could then begin dialogues with mayors, city council members, police, etc. God’s people have supernatural power. We can simply ask, “How can I pray for you?” People are afraid. We have the answers. They are found in Christ, where there is true freedom.
Father, I pray that You would begin to organize groups of Your people within neighborhoods, villages, towns, subdivisions to begin their spirit patrolling of these areas. I pray that doors would open in city governments and other areas to allow Your people to help through prayer, or even just to bring peace where there isn’t any. Help us follow You and where You are leading. Amen.
At the heart of this is the fear that drove the Councilwoman to cast the “fire him” vote, though she didn’t want to fire him nor did he deserve to be fired. This is not the Mafia, but aren’t these leftist-supported street gangs…organized criminals? If you don’t do things their way, they’re given your vital information and then they punish you and your loved ones.
