I Prayed have prayed
Lord, protect our religious freedoms in this nation that we still have. Please heal our land and thank you for this courageous stand from these students.

The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department arrested two students Saturday morning for defacing property after they wrote pro-life messages in chalk, MPD told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Students for Life of America and the Frederick Douglass Foundation had planned to write the words “BLACK PREBORN LIVES MATTER” on the sidewalk outside an abortion clinic in Washington, D.C. Saturday morning, according to a Students for Life press release. The group also said it obtained a permit for the event.

Video footage captured by the Daily Caller News Foundation shows police arresting two students for chalking messages outside the abortion clinic. The students said they chalked outside the abortion clinic every week as part of an effort to persuade women not to get abortions. . . .

Both advocacy groups had sent a July 20 letter to Mayor Muriel Bowser requesting permission to paint the words “Black Pre-Born Lives Matter” in order to “to celebrate the beautiful children with endless potential who are the future of their community and deserve the opportunity to make their mark in the world.”. . .

The incident took place in the 1200 block of 4th Street, Northeast, MPD confirmed.

Chalking messages is a common method of advocacy, particularly as protests and riots against racism and police brutality have erupted across the nation. Bowser had the slogan “Black Lives Matter” painted on a D.C. street in massive yellow letters in early June.

The DCNF asked MPD whether graffiti on the streets of D.C. done in the name of George Floyd or Black Lives Matter also counted as defacing of private/public property. MPD did not immediately respond to this question.

Protestors and rioters throughout the nation have chalked messages on streets and buildings against police, police brutality and racism.

As recently as January 2020, the nonprofit Speech First sued Iowa State University President Wendy Wintersteen as well as 14 other university administrators and nine members of the State Board of Regents, saying the school sought to restrict free speech by prohibiting chalking.

Father, thank you for the courage of these students. Lord, I pray that the hypocrisy evident in this situation will be exposed and that the charges will be dropped. Oh God, please use this to open wide blind eyes to see truth. May your perfect will be done in this situation, and may it be used to advance your kingdom and to bring you great glory. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.

EIt looks like the LIBERALS AND THE LEFT ARE THE RACISTS. Smoke and mirrors is their modus operendi. Every accusation against the conservatives has only been true of their accusers. Maybe we should get used to false accusations. That’s how the Nazis began persecuting the Jews, and this is just the beginning. So we rejoice if we are counted worthy to be persecuted like those who went before us, faithful saints throughout the world.

If this is a valid offense then the students were justly arrested. BUT the fact that the mayor herself ORDERED a slogan to be permanently fixed in paint on the street no less presents, at the very least, a double standard. I think anyone who is paying attention to the headlines today knows and sees the hypocrisy in the arresting of these students. The prosecution of Christians in this country is real and growing more real by the day. But it’s not like we didn’t know it was coming.

Yes I admire these students for their courage. I pray the LORD will bless them and keep them as they are proclaiming life. It’s about time someone had that courage. For our GOD all life matters. I will keep on praying for them ad they are defending the unborn.

Praise God!
As former Operation Rescue Protester in the late 80’s. In Vermont, we spent 90 days in jail. We were treated with Police brutality. Drag thru the mud with are hands in handcuffs. We use to go limp when the police went to arrest us, like a Pre-Born Baby. Many Prayers.

Pamela, Thank you for your courage and standing years back for the lives of “Unborn”. I thank the Lord
for raising up Soldiers of the Cross in each generation in the abortion battle. The students being arrested in D.C. for writing their message on a sidewalk defines for us as scripture prophesies, “Good will be considered evil, and “evil will be considered good.” I pray for the students safety, and their actions will
cause millions to support these young people in their efforts to end abortion. All life matters.

This whole thing makes me chuckle.

The result of this is that many who don’t support pro-life just can’t believe what their crazy city officials are doing. Great PR!

Heavenly Father, we give You honor and glory and praise that we can approach Your throne of grace and obtain mercy in time of need. Father God,We thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2Ti 1:7). “For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’”(Is 41:13).
We thank You for calling these brave young students for such a time as this.Thank You that these students have a heart for the the unborn and a calling to dissuade women from aborting their babies.
We pray for Mayor Muriel Bowser to have a Godly encounter with God. Dear Father, chase her to Christ Jesus and prepare her heart by Our Helper, the Holy Spirit. Send Your perfect laborer into her pathway. May she come to the saving grace and knowledge of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In His Name I pray, Amen.

I’m a Christian and I believe that all life matters. What planned parenthood is doing is against God’s will and they will have to come before the Lord at some time and it may be sooner than they think.!Love is what we need in this country not hate and discord. These students were only expressing their thoughts and rights as Americans! God bless them!

Oh my goodness! Such messed up priorities. Let’s not dirty the sidewalks while butchers are killing babies. Are you kidding me?

God help us, these people are lost. Truly a lost lot. They need you. They are so stuck in their hate-filled minds they have forgotten right from wrong. Their priorities are destructive in nature. I pray your Holy Spirit convict them and turns their hearts toward You and Your ways.

I thank the LORD for these courageous young people! May the LORD richly bless them, strengthen their faith, and use the testimony of their brave actions to change hearts and minds.

I pray that the LORD will raise up more young people with strong, Biblical convictions, in the Name of Jesus!

This is plain WRONG!!. The mayor can paint ‘Black Lives Matter” on a city street paid by taxpayers but these students can not write in chalk. What double standards. Someone higher up than the mayor should remove that BLM slogan off the street.

Heard of The 1st Amendment? Here is A CHRISTIAN VIOLATION of It — The College Founded By Billy Graham BLOCKS Biblical Prayers… The censorship of Christian Prayers on 98*5 KTI$ is ILLEGAL. I post prayers for The Lord’s Prayer, (Matt 6:9-13), Government (1 Tim 2:1-5), Vaccines and Medicines (Dan 12:4), Hurricanes to Calm (Mark 19:14), My Dad (Eph 6:2-3), Peace our Our Cities (Jer 29:7), Freedom of Speech (Acts 28:30-31), Salvation of Communist Officials and Strengthening of Persecuted Asian Christians and Churches (Heb 13:3) and The College founded by BILLY GRAHAM takes them down… Shame on You… If he came back he would preach a serious message to Minneapolis… You could have had prayer for your city for over two years but now your sins on your own heads would have had prayer for Minneapolis — The very seat and head of all the civil unrest that came to The United States of America through the death and violence resulting from George Floyd — tell me the devil is not behind this web site! Please pray for me in this ministry, (Acts 28:30-31), in Jesus’ name. I am still going to post because YOU CAN’T STOP THE PREACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD. By The Blood of JESUS CHRIST, so be it, Amen.Paul Preached the Word of God with ALL openness, unhindered (Acts 28:31). Shame on You!

Wow! I guess I could have been arrested as a child when I lived up in the DC area when I chalked a hopscotch game on the side walk. There seems to be a double standard. Yes, we are to follow government rules so I am
praying that with this incident of defiance of these young students, it may have changed one young mother’s decision not to abort her baby!,

Those filled with anger who seek to cause harm get special treatment, while those who peacefully seek to protect and edify people are arrested?!!!!
