We spent a great deal of time covering HB25-1312, encouraging believers to pray about a bill that could be disastrous for families. Despite this, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed this bill into law on Friday, criminalizing deadnaming and/or misgendering transgender people in the Centennial State.

Passed asĀ House Bill 1312, the new law is formally named forĀ Kelly Loving, a transgender woman who died in theĀ 2022 mass shooting at Club QĀ in Colorado Springs. The law expands the stateās antidiscrimination laws, which apply to settings like workplaces and schools, to include provisions related to using a personās chosen name and referring to them how they wish.
It also makes it easier for people to change their gender identity on birth certificates and driverās licenses, and to change their names on marriage licenses.

The measure was sponsored by Democratic Reps. Lorena Garcia and Rebekah Stewart and Sens. Faith Winter and Chris Kolker. Its antidiscrimination protections will go into effect immediately, as will another provision that requires schools with dress codes to allow students to choose from any option within the rules for uniforms.
The name- and gender-changing provisions will kick in on Oct. 1, 2026.
The Post notes that the bill received “conservative pushback.” Most notably, many conservatives and Christians were outraged over a provision that would have directed judges to consider parents’ misgendering and deadnaming in court proceedings, potentially stripping custody away from those who did not affirm their child’s transgender identity.
The Post does notes that some of the most controversial provisions of the bill were stripped before it was signed:
After swiftly passing the state House in early April, the bill faced headwinds in the state Senate. Polisā office andĀ prominent LGBTQ+ groups raised concernsĀ about some of its provisions, including a shield law component intended to protect transgender children here from other statesā laws.
Another section, which wouldāve directed judges to consider parentsā acceptance of their childrenās gender identity in family court proceedings, also drew significant Republican opposition.
Ultimately,Ā those provisions were struck from the bill. …
Even with these provisions stripped away, this law erodes key speech rights in the name of transgenderism. Let’s pray that the rights of Coloradoans are protected, and that the lies of transgenderism are overwhelmed by the truth of the gospel!

I believe the law is unconstitutional and definitely against Godās teachings. It should be challenged in court and a stay against it from being enforced, go through the courts to the SCOTUS where we will see if President Trumpās picks are truly for God or have joined weak Roberts and side with the 3 evil demoncrat picked justices. I ask God to intervene if it be in His plan.

Scripture emphasizes the importance of protecting children and avoiding causing them to stumble in faith. The verses in Matthew 18:5-6, Mark 9:42, and Luke 17:2 state that it would be better to be drowned with a millstone around one’s neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. This highlights the severe consequences of leading someone to sin, especially a child.
I call a halt to all this transgender perversion that hurts our children. And separates families who are trying to help their children. Sexual grooming of children has been a goal with all of this. In order to bring confusion into righteous behavior and ministry.

Dear Father and God Almighty, I believe Your Word. It declares that You bring death and life, You wound and heal, You open and shutā¦.You do as You please. I pray You will remove all protection and favor from Jared Polis, Lorena Garcia, Rebekah Stewart, Faith Winter, Chris Kolker and every one who supported this ābill.ā Please Lord, remove and replace each one with righteous men and women. May it please You to open the door to their exit and to shut the door to any future leadership position they seek. Please reverse this deceitful law. I am asking this and so much more, in the Name of Jesus Christ, in Him Your pleasure restsā¦.In Christ alone is all authority in Heaven and on Earth. Amen
Oh God whose throne is in heaven and whose eyes look down on the children of men: empower those who continue to stand against this wicked bill. Give them victory and triumph over its provisions. We ask that the bill will collapse and fall but those that stand against it will hold and remain firm.
I keep wondering if any of these “people” (hard to identify what they are)
have ever heard of the fact that Almighty God has a history of punishing
evil and the advocates of evil. The fact that He has a history of opening
up the earth and swallowing up a lot of filth in an instant.
I guess they think they “have a form of godliness” but they deny the power
thereof and guess what!!! We are supposed to “from such turn away”.
The constant advertising of this evil will have to be answered for by the
passive accepting ones, who refuse to confront and rebuke it.
My heart is broken for the sinfulness moving forward. We need a spirit of repentance for the nation and will be praying for Colorado. God help us
I am grieved, YHVH, and I’m sure You are far more so than I. I cry out for Nicole and the other faithful brothers and sisters in Colorado who are grieving as well. Fortify them, and let this disappointment result in greater determination to fight the good fight against the dark spiritual forces that have set up strongholds in their state. Intercession, strategic positioning, and actions against the enemy will be necessary, as well as repentance and humility and faith toward You. May they posture themselves appropriately, and arm themselves with Your armor – nothing less will do!
Open the eyes of their heart Lord. Send someone to open each persons eyes in a gental loving way. They are searching for something that will make them happy or bring them joy. So many have regretted doing this. Your will be done, Jesus. Amen.

Lord God, we pray for your Truth to set free all those held in bondage by the lies of transgenderism. Everything You created is good – You said so Yourself. Satan hates what You created and who You love – us. This is just another way for Satan to destroy those You have created in Your image – by lying to us about who we are – about our true identity as those made in Your image. As a person who has grown up in Colorado and lived here the majority of my life , I can’t say I’m all that surprised. With all the natives choosing to run away instead of staying and fighting for our state, we are left here outnumbered by transplants that don’t share native conservative values.
Lord, I pray that You’d put a fight in your people in this state! I pray that You’d give us pastors with the moral fortitude to stand against these things. Where the decline in godly values has taken over, I pray you’d heavily convict pastors of their cowardice and give them the courage to stand in the face of this ungodliness and raise up an army of believers that won’t back down but will stand up for what’s right. Help Colorado! We are in desperate need of YOU!
Amen. We need Godly pastors in our churches to allow prayer against this unrighteousness.
