State Cracks Down on Illegally Registered Voters
Ohio is removing nearly 500 improper registrations from its voter rolls in an effort to crack down on non-citizen voting. Praise God!
From Ohio Secretary of State. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced today that county boards of elections are being directed to remove an additional 499 non-citizen registrations from Ohio’s voter rolls. The latest action comes as part of a multi-phase, comprehensive audit of the statewide voter registration database ahead of the November general election.

“I swore an oath to uphold the constitution of our state, and that document clearly states that only United States citizens can participate in Ohio elections,” said Secretary LaRose. “That means I’m duty-bound to make sure people who haven’t yet earned citizenship in this country aren’t voting. If or when they do become citizens, I’ll be the first one to congratulate them and welcome them to the franchise, but until then the law requires us to remove ineligible registrations to prevent illegal voting.”
In May, the Secretary of State’s Public Integrity Division and Office of Data Analytics and Archives initiated a review of voter records for compliance with Ohio’s constitutional citizenship requirement. Using identification records provided by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV), the office found 136 voter registrations assigned to Ohio residents who twice confirmed their non-citizenship status to the BMV. Eighty of those individuals failed to respond to notices asking that they either confirm their citizenship status or cancel their registration, and boards are initiating the removal of those registrations.
The latest removals announced today include individuals who confirmed their non-citizen status to the BMV, and a subsequent review of the federal Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) database system has confirmed them to be non-citizens. These individuals failed to respond to notices from the Secretary of State’s office asking that they either confirm their citizenship status or cancel their registration. Any individual whose registration is removed pursuant to the Secretary’s directive can submit a provisional ballot, which will be counted upon proof of citizenship.
“I want to give these folks the benefit of the doubt and say that most of them didn’t intend to break the law,” said LaRose. “We want to make sure a mistaken registration doesn’t become an illegal vote. We also want to make sure that lawfully registered citizens can participate seamlessly in the process, especially if their citizenship status changed recently.”
Secretary LaRose added that investigations into the citizenship status of voter registration records remain ongoing, and additional removals may be ordered ahead of the November general election. The office’s Election Integrity Unit also will refer cases for criminal prosecution.
Election integrity remains an ongoing priority for the Secretary of State’s office, which continues to be a national leader in ensuring the honesty and accuracy of voter rolls. At the direction of Secretary LaRose, boards completed last week the removal of nearly 155,000 registrations confirmed to be abandoned and inactive for at least four consecutive years. Many of the registrations became eligible for removal due to an address change, where the voter both failed to cancel their old registration as well as respond to a notice asking for confirmation of the registration’s status. The office also recently deployed a new digital dashboard tool to help county election officials better identify voter registration discrepancies, such as illegal characters in name fields, placeholder birth dates, unreasonably high ages, and improper birth/registration date combinations.

Thank you Father for this great moral example to other state leaders, may every state do the same. Father there shoukd be pressure from the supreme court of comgress or senate (someone!).to do it. IN jesus name we thank and praise you.
Thank you Lord for Secretary LaRose’s integrity and attention to upholding election laws, cleaning up voter rolls. Please allow his actions to influence and cause other Secretarys and election officials to follow suit. May this be the cause of a voter roll purification that sweeps across every state in the nation. Show us as citizens how we can encourage and support that to happen
.
I just want to encourage people to be careful here. My family went through a three-month struggle to get my adopted (as a baby) daughter, who had a passport, confirmed as an American citizen for her driver’s license because there was a problem with the passport database which the Federal government uses. What we found out was that she was not the only one. Of course, we are talking about another database, but one that verifies citizenship would also be relying on the passport database. The fact that someone did not respond to a request for more information does not prove that they were non-citizens. They could have moved and not gotten the request. They may be in the middle of a family crisis and don’t have the time to get together the documents, etc.
Please keep in mind that an illegal immigrant who votes is placing himself or herself (and their family) in a position where they are giving their address, knowing that their citizenship and immigration status can be checked against databases, and that they are voting in an election where there is a 50% likelihood that the person who wins the presidency has promised to deport illegals and that they have all but put a target on their own backs. Most are not going to do that because they are trying to keep their heads down and not draw attention to themselves.
Also, as an American citizen who has dealt with the Department of Immigrant on several occasions, I can say that it takes a very long time for them to do something (it took YEARS for my daughter who, by law, was an American citizen, to receive her paperwork), and that they seem to loose items at a remarkable rate. I cannot imagine that any database based on their information being reliable or up to date.
OHIO STATE HASN’T GONE FAR ENOUGH YET. THERE ARE FAR MORE THAN 500 ILLEGAL CRIMINAL VOTERS TERE. AND EVERY STATE IN THE UNION NEEDS TO DOTHIS. NO ILLEGAL ALIENS TO BE ALLOWED TO VOTE IN OUR NATIONAL ELECTIONS. THAT IS AN ACT OF WAR!
A CRIME AGAINST AMERICA, TREASON, COWARDICE AND NEEDS HARSH PUNISHMENT. ANY STATE THAT DOESN’T CLEAN UP SHOULD HAVE THEIR VOTES DISQUALIFIED.THE ELECTORAL VOTES GO THE STATE THAT HAS CLEANED UP AND IS LEADING IN THE VOTE PROCESS.
LORD GOD ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN IF IT FITS IN WITH YOUR WILL.. “…THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN…”
I ASK IN JESUS’NAME
AMEN
Please tell us how we can help make sure our states voter rolls are correct. I thought that there was some training or something through IFA that we could do. Please repost any info.
Also, I am from WI and I hate that they have those absentee voter boxes. What can I do? Please inform us. Maybe you could have a form letter we could send to senators, congressman, governor, mayor of Madison, WI etc to have them removed. I think if we all sent in a letter, maybe they would remove them. Thank you.
Please pray extra for WI. I don’t like it there are so many left leaning people here. I love my state and they seem to be so blind to the truth. I live near a lot. I try to share some things in love and I pray for them. Some Christians around me I used to know have even compromised a bit. Please pray for them. I pray they would come to their senses. Thank you.
We stand with you, Anndre. May you receive your marching orders from Holy Spirit so you know how to fight the good fight of faith for your state. Lord, Wisconsin needs, and many of your children there desire and have faith for a mighty move of God. Do it, we pray!!
Thank You, LORD
Thank You, Lord, for the due diligence of Ohio’s Secretary of State. I pray that You bless this attempt to keep election integrity. May every state follow suit. Please thwart every attempt of the enemy to to destroy our republic.
This is a great development. Lord Jesus,, by Your grace and mercy, may all other states do the same, before the election takes place in our nation.
We can volunteer our time to help this process of cleaning up the registrations in each state. Lord please help us to become part of the good fight for our country.
