State Bans Harmful Food Dyes and Chemicals
We previously covered the efforts of lobbyists to stop West Virginia from becoming the first state in the nation to ban harmful dyes and chemicals in foods. Now, however, Governor Morrisey has officially signed the bill. Praise God!

The dyes that are banned under this legislation are Blue No. 1, Blue No. 2, Green No. 3, Red No. 3, Red No. 40, Yellow No. 5 and Yellow No. 6.
The two chemicals that are being banned are butylated hydroxyanisole and propylparaben. …

I think if people are informed we may not need another LAW to move us in the right direction, but I also remember all the teaching about tobacco and the harm to ones body, but now we have smoke shops all over. In the end it is the individual who chooses what they will ingest into their bodies.
