I Prayed have prayed
Father, I thank you that Your people lift up a righteous standard against socialism and humanism in America, and all who rage against you will come to nothing.

The people of Minneapolis, still reeling from days of relentless riots, look for answers. The apparent answer: George Floyd died at the hands of a police officer who should have assisted him in getting help. The protest that ensued left 170 buildings burned down or severely damaged, people injured, and uncontrolled looting, not just in the area affected by the riot but also in malls throughout the city. At what point did the protesters turn from a peaceful demonstration to a riotous mob? Where do people learn to steal at will, destroy businesses, and burn down buildings that provide needed services for their neighborhood?

Without a doubt, the majority of the rioters received their educational training in public schools and universities in America. They learned under the tutelage of our teachers and professors to hate America and love socialism. The burden for what is happening to our nation as riots spread to multiple cities is the responsibility of America’s educational system.

As much as possible, America’s public schools do all they can to teach tolerance, acceptance, and racial equality. The United States Department of Education officially started on May 4, 1980. One of their four main goals is to enforce federal education laws regarding privacy and civil rights. They have ten civil rights offices scattered throughout the U.S., as well as a civil rights office at the department headquarters in Washington, DC. Teachers in public schools attend multiple workshops on how to combat racism within their classrooms and schools. But it’s not racism that’s the main issue with the rioters, it’s socialism, and the Department of Education does not restrict teachers and professors from teaching socialism to our students. The teachers have the right to free speech in the classroom. And they do, as socialism is on the rise in America.

With socialism, power is held by an elite few, while others are relegated to helping that elite succeed. Socialism means more government programs, more government handouts, more government restrictions, and more government taxation. It’s not a new battle for America, just one we’ve postponed coming to grips with until now. Socialism began in America almost 200 years ago. It has taken time to incubate and become full-blown. To spiritually combat socialism, we need to know its roots and how to sever the roots of socialism in the realm of the spirit so our nation can heal.

A few, but certainly not all, of the significant beginnings, are:

  • In 1834, Horace Mann, Massachusetts Secretary of Education, founded the first public school supported with taxpayer money to separate students from the confining religious teachings of their families and churches.
  • William Torrey Harris, U.S. Commissioner of Education 1889–1906, introduced German socialism into schools under the guise of his “Scientific Management,” whereby he created a new faith to replace Christianity.
  • In 1917, the National Education Association, with the help of the Carnegie Foundation, created a pivotal report titled Cardinal Principles of Secondary Education. Cardinal Principles did away with teaching history and replaced it with Social Studies. This report proved to be one of the most influential documents in creating socialism in our schools. It decreed the new goal of education was to create specific behaviors, health, and vocational training. No longer would the focus be on mental development, character, or godliness.
  • John Dewey (1859-1952), known as the Father of Modern Education, was a self-proclaimed socialist who had a disdain for the Christian faith. Dewey hated the American independent mindset and sought social evolution in education. His prolific writings continue to influence education, and he remains one of the most influential educators in America.

While socialism is not racism, it does fuel the flames of racism by teaching victim-hood. Combined with the proliferation of historical ignorance in our schools; public education is a powder keg waiting to explode. The young people who riot create carnage for the sake of seeing a police car burn; after all, the police car belongs to them as well as the police. They are trained by a system that gave them the right to riot by making them victims with no restraint of their actions. Our public schools took away their God, which left them with no one to whom they should be accountable.

Intercessors are the ones to ignite the flame that will start the redemptive process to stop the spread of socialism and, consequently, racism in our schools across America. President Trump came to office with the intent to give parents more choice in their children’s education. That alone would significantly affect education’s focus for the better. If we stay in faith and believe the Good News, that if we ask anything in prayer, He hears and answers us, we can pray and believe God for a transformation of America’s public school system.

Laura Ingram of Fox News talked about this on her program yesterday evening: how America’s public education system and colleges have been training our young people for decades for such a time as this. I agree with the writer, the church must stand up against the forces of darkness that are not only trying to destroy our country, but more importantly trying to destroy our young people.

We are seeing the third chapter of 2 Timothy play out before our eyes. And yet, there are those, including Christians condoning what is happening as the “cry of oppressed people.” I am an African American; my parents grew up in the South under Jim Crow. They marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr. for civil rights. They would not condone this current behavior of rioting, looting, and burning down buildings, and neither do I. This is not what they marched for. They marched for the opportunity to freely participate in all good and right aspects of society like everyone else, not to be free to commit criminal acts or tear down our nation. And I am asking my brothers and sisters in Christ: please do not condone, explain, or seek to excuse the actions of the rioters, that only legitimizes what they’re doing. The looting and rioting needs to be called out for what is: wickedness fueled by hate and lack of a moral compass that is being supported by organizations who don’t care about our young people, who don’t care about Black people, who don’t care about any people. Rather than wanting to help people heal from their pain, anger and rage and move toward reconciliation, they are using it to put forth their agenda for their own selfish interests. We need to pray against this. We need to pray that they repent and repent ourselves. And, as the writer states, we need to ignite the flame of the redemptive work of Christ. Only He can bring true healing to our nation. Only He can stop the spread of socialism and racism.

Father, I come against the spiritual wickedness that is gripping our nation and the rulers of darkness attempting to seek control, and I pray for the outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon our nation as spoken of in Joel 2.

28-30 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.”…

32 “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.”

My prediction is that nothing will be done to surrounding the FISA court/President Trump fiasco (both before and after Trump’s election). My question is, Where’s our Justice Department? Neither the House nor the Senate are charged with the responsibility of perfecting justice in America – only the DOJ is.

Hillary has not been charged for using a private server to send/receive Classified information. Biden has not been charged for using US tax dollars ($1 Billion, at least) to insure his son, Hunter, has a seat on a Ukrainian company.

Again, Where’s our Attorney General??

It’s a heart problem. Jesus told us that” it is not that which goes into the mouth of a person that defiles him, but what comes out.” (Matthew 15:11). What comes out, comes from the heart. We are also told to” guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it come the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23). Our actions come from what is in our hearts. People say and do things and then say they are sorry. Really? It came from the heart, the truth of who a person is. This article should not be used as a blanket statement. When we say things like ‘They’ and ‘We’, it is not inclusive. Jesus makes the difference.

In addition i believe as Christians we share the responsibility in the shape of mind that we have been silent and not taken our authority in this realm of education. The voice of the influences has been louder than ours. It seems that their message has been carried out and we have done little to counter it.
It is time we rise up and take our proper place as a voice and influence in the furthering of the gospel to bring God’s righteousness back into our beloved country and people.

Ms. Huff
I believe you have answered or have the answer to the most sought after question being asked today.
“How can unity begin in ending racial strife?”
As you so well point out, it can only begin with Education! Pure, honest, truthful (sometimes real truth may be difficult to address/accept), unbiased, Education!
Sound education must replace wrongful, distructive education e.g. sexual orinated, self focused, misguided compassion (i.e. anarchy over wrongful deaths, while skipping blindly along in life, ignoring the “millions” of lives being wrongfully taken, each year, in the name of unrestrained, ungodly, selfish importance …..)

I could go on. However, Ms. Huff, you have clearly summed up the answers to all of the problems of God’s people & the “lost,” with one word. EDUCATION!

The Spirit of Anti-Christ has been working since the Fall of Man. This battle is old, very old. Ezekial gives us insight. So does the Book of Revelations.

This is a battle unto death. As good soldiers of Christ (soldiers accept eventual death as a job description), we must put on our Armour of Light day after day, as long as ut is called day. As the enemy loves to operate at night, in darkness, remember to God light & darkness are all the same to Him! So do not watch the dance of the Cobra! But join the eternal dance of the Bridegroom! Keep your eyes on Him!

My wife and I taught in a high school district in Cook County 1974-2012. We witnessed 1st hand many progressive thought creep in.

President Carter did the Country no favor creating the Dept of Education, but it was a long road of esoteric thought that permeated education through the 1800’s culminating in 1890 (The Committee of Ten) and the creation of K-8 Curriculum (after child labor laws left children in need of structure).

We need to pray and get ready for revival.

Lord, please help our educational system. Open the eyes of believers within that system to rise and change it. Grant them wisdom and courage. Restore Your moral standards as the standard taught in schools. Lord, protect our children and grandchildren and grant them discernment to seek out thrush through the lenses of Faith and they Truth of Your Word! Lord, May we put our trust only in You. Forgive us for relinquishing our responsibilities of raising our children to a government devoid of You. Forgive us for allowing this system to remove You from it’s halls. Please Lord, help us to repent and return to You! Lord, the days grow darker and the time is short. Help us to use it to impart Your Truth. Grant Your saints boldness as we seek and do Your will. Give us tender and loving hearts as we go about Your will! In Jesus Name We pray! Amen

The term “victim” is a label that can become an insidious identity and one the enemy applies liberally to manipulate hearts and minds. It causes us to point the finger “out there” as the cause of our lack, rather than looking to God as our source to cause us to prosper in every area. We take captive every thought to the obedience of Christ. Restore hope in You in the hearts of the people Lord. Break the stranglehold of deception we pray. Bring blessing and prosperity and life to the oppressed in Jesus’ name. Turn the tide of big government back to its intended purpose. End the waste we pray at the highest levels of govt. and bring back free enterprise to this nation. Thank you for Pres. Trump’s heart to bring manufacturing back to America. For providing more opportunity beyond service and tech sectors only. Reverse years of wrong economic policies and regulations. Thank you Lord. For your kingdom purposes.

It’s so sad to see things go backwards like this. Years ago I visited Minneapolis. It seemed like such an awesome place, they had awesome stores, and a mall that seemed to have everything you could imagine. And, everyone I met was friendly, and helpful if you were in need of directions or anything. One night I was there I went to a
campfire gathering. The people were just awesome. Oh there were a couple of them that laughed at my southern
accent, but I can’t imagine those people I met back then, becoming these rioters I’m seeing in the news today. I pray the lord will send Heaven’s angels and get the sites back on the friendly loving ways of the folks I met back then.
Dear Lord, Guide these men. In Jesus’ name Amen.
