Not all protests demanding justice for George Floyd have ended in violence and riots.
Protesters gathered outside of the Coral Gables station house in Miami-Dade County on Saturday. Instead of escalating the situation, police and protesters came together, taking a knee to join in a moment of peace and prayer.
Miami-Dade Corrections spokesman Juan Diasgranados was among those gathered at the protest.
“As leaders of this profession, we (chiefs and community) must all do better at improving on our training and protocols so that our efforts towards building and maintaining community trust are not lost or overshadowed,” Diasgranados wrote in a statement, as Fox 29 WFLX reported.
“Transparency during this time is key to demonstrating law enforcement’s commitment to serving and protecting our residents with dignity, humanity, and respect.”

For all most two months our church has been closed due to COVID. during the winter months I organized a Zoom prayer time for our regular prayer night and this week because we cannot meet in the church as yet, we gathered with our chairs in the parking lot and PRAYED for our nation.I pray that more in the congregation will join us and seek the Wisdom of God in this situation we find our nation in. To God Be All Glory
I PRAY FOR PEACE FOR THE LOVE OF OUR FATHER, AND SON THAT HE WILL BRING AN END TO THE VIOLENCE WHICH IS DEMONSTRATED THROUGH THE ENEMY, FOR HE WILL NOT PREVAIL, GOD IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL TO OVERCOME DARKNESS.PRAISE THE LORD.

This is a spiritual battle not just physical I’m thankful for all sides kneeling before Almighty God and asking for help and wisdom, only as we acknowledge him oh mighty God will this situation be healed in our country restored according to the purpose and will of God. God bless America as she humbles willingly.
O Lord Jesus, it is indeed possible for people of all ethnicities to come together in peace and harmony – for You O Lord are our peace! May Your people, who are called by Your Name stand in the gap and pray – leading the way.
Father! Let your will be done in our country and our world – Your world! Thank you for this encouraging article and let Your love abound in our police departments, our social world with all races included! Let Your love be spread across our social media websites, our main stream media sites, our political arenas, our social circles, our family’s dinner tables and mostly our communities in which we dwell. Praise Your Name, forever!
