A testimony of one community’s initiative in addressing the transgender issue.

By Bill Bumpas of American Family Radio, Broadcast on March 7, 2017.

More than one hundred pastors in Richland County, Ohio wrote a letter to state government and school leaders defending the Biblical definition of gender and urging the leaders to ignore what was at the time a mandate from the U.S. Department of Education allowing students to use the gender specific bathroom of their choice. One of the pastors writing that letter was Pastor Randy Raynes: “It gave us a John the Baptist moment where we could stand up and say “You know what? This is wrong and it this should not be happening. And it gave the people a chance to stand with us because most of the time people just wait for somebody to take a lead. And if we the pastors are not taking the lead then nobody will.”

The letter was sent in early August and pastors began tracking all that GOD did in that month: there were no childhood mortalities, and there were no motorist fatalities for the month of August. A drought was ended that month which saved the crops. And there was a huge increase of milk production despite the hot weather. “That’s one of the promises of the LORD in Deuteronomy 28 how that if GOD’s people will get right and God’s people would take a stand, that GOD would bless the nation in many different ways.” Raynes says there shouldn’t be any surprise that GOD would bless a community for its obedient stance.
