In late November, a terrorist attack in D.C. left one National Guardsman critically injured and another dead. Now, the injured Guardsman, Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, is reportedly moving toward a miraculous full recovery.

From CBN:

Wolfe was one of two service members shot the night before Thanksgiving in Washington, D.C. by a 29-year-old Afghan national, federal authorities said.

However, Wolfe now appears to be on the road to a surprising recovery. President Trump announced last night, “Today I got a call that he got up from bed. Do you believe that? He got up. He got up!”

“Now, he didn’t speak,” Trump added. “He’s not ready for that yet. I mean, he got hit in the head.”

The West Virginia National Guard medical staff also updated the public, sharing that Wolfe “straightened his back and sat up straight and raised his head” on command. He also smiled at his nurse and put his arm around his mother, with the medical staff characterizing the latter action as Wolfe ” telling her that he was coming back to them.”

Prayer has certainly played a significant role in Wolfe’s healing. The West Virginia National Guard medical staff thanked people for their prayers, writing that “a Christmas miracle is happening.” Meanwhile, in a video shared on Sunday, Melody Wolfe, the Guardsman’s mother, thanked the public for praying for her son.

The Lord is hearing our prayers! As his health improves, let’s continue to pray for Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe and his family!
