We previously covered the federal government’s flagging of purchases of, among other things, Bibles. Now, one Senator is determined to find out where this order came from.
From The Epoch Times. Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) wants to know who at the Department of Treasury approved searches of Americans’ private financial accounts for transactions for “religious texts”; which books, if any, were singled out; and why such purchases were assumed to indicate that an individual was involved in “domestic violent terrorism.”

Mr. Scott went on to write that “federal government efforts to target individuals and entities based on their political views is a blatant and egregious violation of our Constitution … [and] reported actions like these disrupt confidence in federal law enforcement and raise significant questions regarding the independence of federal financial regulators.”
The “religious texts” search term was among many federal officials asked financial institutions to use following the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol, a congressional source with direct knowledge confirmed to The Epoch Times on Jan. 18. Other terms that banks, credit card companies, and financial firms were asked to use in the searches included “MAGA” and “Trump,” according to the House Judiciary Committee. …
Multiple religious liberty advocates also told The Epoch Times the searches represent a serious threat to constitutional liberties. …
In addition to the specific information Mr. Scott is seeking from Treasury officials, he is also asking to see a host of documents, communications, and names, in order to construct the complete decision tree that culminated in the decision to encourage the controversial searches by the financial companies on behalf of the government. …

Another thing that desperately needs attention is : WHAT is going on at our northern border ?? The car that crashed through one of the gates of the northern border and killed two people inside seemed to be quickly dropped and covered up. It happened in the Niagara Falls area. Pray and act !! May God give us insight and our assignments.

Father God, thank you for Senator Tim Scott. Put your hedge of protection around him and his family as he boldly stands. We as your people are standing.
1971: I was on a chorus trip to several European countries while my new husband was in the Mediterranean with the US Navy. We visited a concentration camp, saw poster of “recipe” for making soap out of human fat. And other horrors. I never dreamed that about 50 years later the USA would be on the cusp of such. Czechoslovakia: our “program”; we did not wear chorus robes, we did not stand as a group in front of audience. Our rooms were bugged (not insects). Even during President Trump’s presidency, I felt Melania’s knowledge provided a depth of awareness,.. maybe that is why some are antiTrump? Before I even finished the article I thought Rep. Scott …Vice President. Now even more convinced.
I pray that the efforts of Mr. Scott will indeed expose what is happening in this ungodly situation. Lord Jesus, please, by Your grace, expose the evil that is occurring in our government. I pray that it will not only be exposed, but that it will be dealt with legally. Thank You, Lord.

Father God, we come to You in humbled by the news, yet knowing You will “jam the wheels of the chariots” behind us as You demolish evil strongholds in our government. Continue to stir our hearts so we will not grow weary in welldoing, or become discouraged, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in (Gal. 6:9)
And there it is, the real reason conservative Christians were targeted. The evil that exists in our country and world is not from the “Bible”, it’s from the devil who is harbored by anyone threatened by the truth. God bless Senator Scott and all other Christian leaders for fighting against this. We don’t have the luxury of doing nothing.
