No mention of radical Islam was made by any senators during Monday’s Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing—uniquely held at the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum in New York City, NY—days before the 18th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
WE HAVE SOME QUESTIONS FOR YOU TO PRAY ABOUT AND SHARE WITH US.

“Climate change poses an existential threat” to America and Earth, declared Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI), ranking member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. He linked “climate change” to 9/11 in his opening remarks:
The Department of Homeland Security is our first line of defense against these and other challenges. . . .As we reflect on what the department has accomplished to date, we must consider whether the size and capacity of DHS can keep pace with the constantly evolving threats.
Peters also singled out “white supremacist violence” as a national security threat, with Chertoff similarly warning of “white supremacists.” “A rise in violence driven by racism, religious discrimination, and other hateful ideologies has altered our perception of domestic terrorism,” said Peters.
Napolitano similarly framed “climate change” and “global warming” as national security threats to be prioritized by federal government policy, linking the two to illegal immigration and “radicalization”
“The U.S. border with Mexico,” stated Napolitano, is not “a threat to the homeland.” She added, “What we do not need and what does not make sense is a wall from one end of the border to the other. . . .It is a red herring. I urge this committee to consider putting an end to discussions on a border wall.”

A couple of things to note from these quotes from Senators on the Homeland Security Committee:
1. How is the issue of climate change considered an issue of the Department of Homeland Security?
2. Is there an attempt to broaden the scope of DHS? If climate change is considered a national security issue, would that give the federal government more control over Americans’ actions for the sake of national security?

Possibly the words “climate change” are interchangeable with “Climate Warfare”. Geoengineering the weather is not an approaching phenomena, it is here! Lyndon B Johnson said ” He who controls the weather, controls the world”, when he approved Weather Warfare! Prayer that the stalled super-hurricanes, the monster snowstorms, and the flooding and rain will be calmed and stopped is imperative! Thank you Lord, that Jesus calmed the wind and waves, and if we are not “of little faith”, we can through your authority, see this happen in our time too!
It is the very nature of climate to change. It constantly changes. In the decades that I have been on this earth, some winters have been cold and dry, some cold and very snowy, some rather mild. Sometimes there is early spring, or late spring or almost no spring. For many years now alarmists have been predicting that sea levels will rise because of melting glaciers, that every hurricane that causes damage is due to man’s activity. We are told that we must stop using fossil fuels, stop eating meat, pay carbon taxes etc. In the end, it is all about control. People who try to present facts that “climate change” is not man made are stifled and called deniers. We all need to do what we can to care for the earth God gave us. But it is God who controls our climate.
God controls the weather. Let us pray first for God’s will to be done, and then address climate change in a reasonable, responsible way seeking His will.
I have since read an article beyond my comment above. I believe climate change is a serious concern. When i see air polution warning in my city, i take notice! However, a group of people went to the Artic determined to prove the ice was rapidly melting. Disastrous consequences implied except there was so much ice that froze so quickly they had to have airlift rescue. There are many needs, questions that only God can answer.

I agree with all the statements about global warming. I also have read from reputable sources that Mr Mueller when he led the FBI directed all info about Islamic jihadists to be removed and the watching to be stopped. Islamic believers have a Koran that states the need to rule the world be any means possible. Many inroads of Sharia law are being established. Where is Homeland Security on this? Trying to be a watchman on the wall.
Politically motivated and will be used to bring people groups together to call for a world government.

I just read an excellent article in The Epoch Times (Sept. 12-18). The secretary-general of the World Meteorological Organization (one of two organizations that founded the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change in 1988) had remarks published on Sept. 6 that were a rebuke to climate alarmists who are predicting catastrophes. It was informative to learn that the IPCC’s 2018 report states “the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible.”
There have been cycles in the earth’s heating and cooling long before people were producing CO2. Some scientists see a connection in the cycles to the degree of sunspots and solar irradiation. It seems arrogant to think humans can control weather or climates when we can’t even predict it correctly.
As followers of Jesus, we can have peace about our future. It seems we should be far more concerned about saving people’s souls from eternity in hell than temporarily “saving the planet.” Yes, I believe in being a good steward of this beautiful earth God created for humans, but God has promised He will create a new Heaven and new Earth that will last forever.
Excellent comment. Anyone can search and find the variation in climate over the past many years. The earth warms and it cools, due in major part to the effects of the heat in the oceans. I believe it’s a 30 year cycle inside a much larger (hundreds of years) cycle. Many think “weather” is the same as “climate”. Big difference. Weather is what happens locally. Climate is the average or sum of all of the weather on the whole earth. God is in control–not man.
For seven years I chaired a committee on natural resources. We had many speakers concerning the topic of climate control. The most impressive was Pat Michaels, climatologist at the time for the state of Virginia. He was most emphatic in his denial of any threat by climate change. I heard him repeat that opinion on television within the past couple of weeks. We heard also of the threat of a pending “Ica Age” a decade or so ago. All of the projections of mass destruction have fallen on their face. I am also aware of the report that former VP Al Gore mis-spoke in his book and that he presented false information. In my opinion, climate change, like the attacks on President Trump are invented by persons who either have a self interest of some kind of are part of the cultural war against our Judeo-Christian culture.
I believe in climate changed but I also believe that is not man-made. I believe God knew what He was doing when He created the Earth. I heard a scientist say that the earth goes thru 30 years of global warming and then it goes thru 30 years of global cooling and he said that has been going on ever since they’ve been keeping record of it. He also said it is not man-made. I believe the fact that they say it’s man-made is a hoax. It’s a way for them to get money. Everything is always about greed that’s what abortion is all about money. How many of their predictions that they have predicted has come true? None

There are satalite dishes that can control weather. We where up late and saw it on the news ten years ago.

I agree with the aforementioned comments. If there is a threat requiring Homeland security, maybe the government is aware of another nation experimenting with weather change that we have not been made aware of. My prayer is for peace of mind and trust in God in knowing that His word says He will cast the Earth aside as a worn-out garment when that time is appropriate.
Tens of thousands of scientists, many with a PHD( http://www.petitionproject.org/ ), have signed a petition to stop the baseless global warming hoax. This is simply a raw power and population control play, perpetrated by politicians. Al Gore, out front with pom-poms in a cheerleading skirt.

Our God wonderfully created us. One of the things He gave us is the ability to adapt to changing circumstances that are beyond our control. IF climate is changing, and I believe there are cycles of weather changes, cooler snowy winters, warmer less snowy winters, wet seasons, dry seasons, hot humid summers, etc. One thing that confuses me when all this “climate change” talk comes up, HOW does anyone know WHAT “normal” seasons and temperatures are when we have only been recording the data for less than 200 years?
My science teacher taught me that God created us to utilize oxygen and blow off Carbon dioxide. Also that the complement to that is plant life that utilizes CO2 and blows off oxygen….. human and plant life wonderfully complement each other… want less CO2? Plant some trees!
When God created the earth and all that is in it He alone set the boundaries of the seas so I do believe in His ability not man to handle our planet skies and universe not man The next thing they these evil men will tell America is that the moon I’d dying what a bunch of lies!
I agree. What does climate change have to do with terrorists and 9/11 and future attacks. The comment about the border wall was so nonsensical i wonder all over about those currently in office.

These are deceived people who are politically motivated and blind to truth. They are simply promoting the liberal line of propaganda. We must pray for them. I Corinthians 10:4,5 and Matthew 5:44,45. My prayer is that they will come to know truth and change their mind or that God will change their position, i.e. remove them.
