Following an earlier temporary suspension, the Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s ruling on Thursday compelling the Trump administration to return a wrongfully deported migrant back to the United States.

From The Epoch Times. The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling ordering that an illegal immigrant who was accidentally deported to El Salvadorā€™s mega prison be returned to the United States, as well as given due process of law upon return.

Post a prayer for your state!

In an unsigned order, the court required the government to ā€œfacilitateā€ the release of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia from custody in El Salvador and ensure that his case ā€œis handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador.ā€ No dissenting opinions were noted.

ā€œIt has been the Governmentā€™s own well-established policy to ā€˜facilitate [an] alienā€™s return to the United States if … the alienā€™s presence is necessary for continued administrative removal proceedingsā€™ in cases where a noncitizen has been removed pending immigration proceedings,ā€ the court said. …

The Trump administration should also be prepared to share what steps it has taken to return Abrego Garcia, and what steps it plans to take, according to the ruling.

Further into their opinion, the justices specifically state that Abrego Garcia must be provided with ā€œdue process of law,ā€ including the reception of notice and opportunities to be heard in future proceedings. …

This ruling was issued three days after Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked the lower courtā€™s order as the Trump administration appealed the case.

Abrego Garcia entered the United States illegally around 2011, according to court papers. In 2019, an immigration judge issued an order prohibiting his return to El Salvador due to a clear probability that upon his return he would face persecution from a gang.

He was arrested on March 12 by a division of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Officials cited hisĀ  ā€œprominent roleā€ in the MS-13 gang. He was placed on a deportation flight on March 15, with the manifest failing to indicate that he had been granted protection from removal to El Salvador. …

If he is truly a member of a gang then OUT H E GOES!! Heā€™s been here eight years and has not yet become a citizen. Somethings wrong with that. May truth prevail. May righteousness prevail. May everything hidden in the dark come to the light and be judged justly and rightly. And then this will be the precedent. Lord God, please bless the appropriate officials to do their jobs well. In Jesus name amen.

If he’s a criminal, deport. If any court says they can’t deport him, send to Guantanamo.

I thank the court for this decision. The man in question was given permission to remain. I pray our president and his staff take the time to make sure the ā€œrightā€ ones are being deported.

I pray for truth to be exposed and God’s justice here. It is not totally clear. Is he in the gang and just an operative here or is he out of the gang and a contributing member of society now?

Additional comment if he is working for law enforcement as an under cover agent then bring him back.

I want to believe that this ruling applies to only this individual and will not set a dangerous precedent for other cases. If the man was cooperating and complying with US laws to eventually become a citizen, then I have no problem with it. Let’s pray for the court for wisdom and for a growing awareness of their responsibilities before the God of the Universe.

It appears gang members and those who enter our country illegally are treated far better then American citizens!
Disgraceful!!

Why do judges protect illegal immigrant gang members. If he is a ms13 gang member he chose his path and it was not Godā€™s path for him. SCOTUS you got it wrong and so quickly and yet you drag your feet on other cases of equal or more importance. I wish the judges would care as much about American citizens as they do illegal they seem to bend over backwards for rights that the illegals do not. Stand strong on the wall and invite others and trust in God. šŸ™šŸ˜‡šŸ™

equity- fairness or justice in the way people are treated; justice

Say among the nations, ā€œThe LORD reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved; He will judge the people with equity.ā€ Clouds and thick darkness are all around Him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne. The King in His might love justice. You have established equity; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.
Psalm 96:10, Psalm 97:2, Psalm 99:4

Jeremiah 32:17

Dear Heavenly Father, You established the world and ONLY You reign. I pray You will take the lead in the entirety of our immigration needs. Please LORD, established each plan in equity. Please LORD, guide each plan to be developed in righteousness. I pray You are the beginning in planning and the end in fulfillment. ā€œOh, Lord GOD! You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for You! I ask this and so much more in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Praying for great wisdom for our President and his administration in handling the mistakes made in previous rulings of immigration judges. Seems that the illegal immigrant, who is himself a gang member, should have been imprisoned in 2019 or deported to another country if not to El Salvador.
Praying also for mercy for those illegal immigrants who were deceived by the previous administration. May Father God in His amazing wisdom grant those with a humble heart a legal way of streamlining their immigration. And I command fear to go from those having sincere desire to better their lives in our nation. May they find peace in the Fatherā€™s care and His purpose for their lives. All these things I pray in Jesusā€™ name.

Why would he need to be barred from being sent there if he is not in a gang? Why would his life be in danger if he wasn’t in a gang?
