On Thursday, in a major 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of South Carolina’s ban on Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, allowing other states to pass similar bans to protect the unborn.

Justices voted 6-3 to reverse the Fourth Circuit’s ruling that an individual Medicaid user could bring a federal civil rights lawsuit over Planned Parenthood being excluded from Medicaid in South Carolina.
Justice Neil Gorsuch authored the court’s opinion, saying that Medicaid law does not clearly give patients the right to sue. He noted that states have the authority to decide which health care providers are “qualified” and can participate in Medicaid — for example, doctors who have committed felonies may be excluded. Planned Parenthood can challenge its exclusion from Medicaid through South Carolina’s administrative process, Gorsuch said.
The decision paves the way for other Republican-led states who may want to exclude Planned Parenthood from their Medicaid programs.

This ruling, however, is not the end of the fight for life in our nation. As CBN noted in a recent article, the abortion pill has allowed abortions to remain plentiful in America even after the impactful Dobbs ruling of 2022:
Katie Glenn Daniel of Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America said, “The Dobbs decision gave individual states the right to regulate abortion. Half enacted some type of ban, which at first led to fewer abortions. Now, however, they’re on the rise largely because abortion pills are being mailed pretty much anywhere.”
“I think some people might’ve thought that the Dobbs decision was the end of the story, and we wish that were the case,” she continued. “The challenges ahead of us are great, even as we celebrate three years of the Dobbs decision.”
A new report shows there were about 95,000 abortions a month nationwide last year. That’s up from about 88,000 a month in 2023.
The so-called abortion pill is used about 70 percent of the time.
CBN notes that states around the nation are fighting against the abortion pill, especially since the pill is being mailed by doctors in pro-choice states to patients in pro-life states. Perhaps, in its next term, the Supreme Court will take up this issue and rule decisively on this dangerous pill.
In the meantime, let’s pray. Let’s thank God for the high court’s pro-life ruling and pray for a definitive end to abortion in America!

Father God, I pray for those women who, not knowing better, have taken the abortion pill and have experienced the horror of having an abortion alone in their bathroom. No one else may see them, but thank you you do., Father, I lift up to you these women. Restore them, heal them, and , Lord, pray you touch the conscience of those doctors who mail these pills out, so they would no longer do it. Author of life, bring your life into this culture that throws away life. Grant the crisis pregnancy helpers resources to be able to reach them and comfort them. In Jesus name
Thank God for His guidance in this decision and shame on the 3 justices who continue to cling to satan’s evil. May God disrupt the production and distribution of the abortion pill. May all involved in the evil abortion pill repent and remove themselves from that evil. May all who are using or thinking if using that evil pill seek God’s guidance and wisdom. totally misleading. You are not planning to be a parent. You are planning
to kill a beautiful child of God that didn’t have a chance to live it’s life on
this planet. Ever since 1973, Our Nation has had to fight against us pro-lifers
against Roe v. Wade. Now the Supreme Court is helping people see what
is really going on. We are getting closer to having a lot of States become
pro-lifers and that’s what God will honor and Bless.

Bottom line: Is a preborn child a person? If yes, we simply need to give the unborn the same equal protection of life under the law that you and I have. It’s not the method of killing, whether by surgery, pills, or other means, that we need to be standing against. It’s the act of killing the child that is evil. Killing a preborn person should carry the penalty of murder.
Unfortunately, most “pro-life” organizations protect this “option” for the mother with the lie that she is also a victim and should not face criminal charges for her choice to kill her child, (fitting hand in glove with the pro abortion cry “my body, my choice.”) Pro life organizations promote the lie that education is the answer to this moral issue. Every day on Christian radio I hear “When a mother sees her baby on ultrasound she will choose life.” While true for about 35% of mothers receiving helpful resources, it encourages them to choose life. However, the vast majority of abortion minded mothers will still choose abortion, no matter what resources are offered! For documentation check out AbortionFree.com. 95,000 abortions a month!!! That is 95,000 too many!!! We have a wonderful little child in our family thanks to a brave unmarried teenager who carried her baby to birth. The joy that child has brought to our family is beyond words–This sweet little child is WONDERFUL! I thank GOD for his kind teenage mother who thought more about the WHOLE life ahead of this little one than she thought of nine months of her OWN life. Wherever you are sweetheart, THANK YOU! Father we ask that the finances of Danco Lanoratories and GenBioPo, Inc. be cut off and the raw materials to manufacture the brand-name abortion pill, mifepristone dry up in Jesus name. , in the U.S. is Danco Laboratories. And, we boycott major pharmacy chains like CVS and Walgreens plus any mail order pharmacy who are dispensing mifepristone in states where it is legal to do so.

Thank You for this ruling, YHVH! I pray that many states will follow SC’s example. I am thankful for any and all legislation that will establish support for life, because You can bless that. I also ask that Secretary Kennedy hasten and then respond to the research on the abortion pill. It needs to be taken off the market. We also continue to pray for heart change – abortion will not stop, until people accept that it is murder and murder is wrong. We also pray for our young people to recognize that sexual purity is a benefit, not a burden – and take responsibility for their behavior. In short, we need revival and awakening – and adherence to Torah in our relationships.

While we applaud this ruling we must remember many states are handcuffed by Democrats being held captive by deep left. Father God help usA unravel these cords of confusion off of our states that they may represent You in their laws and budgets!

I pray that the U. S. Supreme Court will rule against the use of the abortion pill altogether. This certainly would be God’s will. God is the creator of life and man does not have the right to end it through abortion! Let us be bold in this nation and put God first in everything we do.
