Earlier this week, we reported on Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s decision to remove all 17 members of a key committee that evaluates vaccines. Now, the Secretary has announced the new members who will staff the committee.

On Monday, Secretary Kennedy removed every member of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP), claiming he was doing so to restore “public trust.” The Secretary noted that the 17 members were all removed over “conflict-of-interest” concerns.

Now, the replacements for these 17 have been announced. The Epoch Times has a helpful list of who was chosen:

  • Dr. Joseph Hibbeln, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist who is former acting chief of the Section on Nutritional Neurosciences at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.
  • Dr. Robert Malone, who helped invent messenger ribonucleic acid technology.
  • Dr. Cody Meissner, a pediatrics professor at Dartmouth College and former ACIP member.
  • Martin Kulldorff, an epidemiologist and biostatistician who helped found Hillsdale College’s Academy for Science and Freedom and who holds a PhD in operations research.
  • Retsef Levi, a professor of operations management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management who holds a PhD in operations research.
  • Dr. James Pagano, an emergency medicine doctor.
  • Vicky Pebsworth, who holds a PhD in public health and nursing, and is a regional director of the National Association of Catholic Nurses.
  • Dr. Michael Ross, a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at George Washington University and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Some of these names may sound familiar. We have shares the words of Dr. Malone, for example, many times, as he became very critical of the COVID vaccine.

The Times notes that the ACIP “is a panel convened by the CDC to offer advice about vaccines, including childhood and adult immunization schedules.” In a statement, Kennedy said that the new members “are committed to evidence-based medicine, gold-standard science, and common sense. They have each committed to demanding definitive safety and efficacy data before making any new vaccine recommendations.”

Let’s pray for these 8 individuals as they step into their new roles. Let’s pray that they are discerning, that they are understanding, and that they hear from the Lord.
