We recently covered the WHO’s attempts to control us with an international pandemic treaty. Now, some congressmen are speaking out against this globalist idea.
From The Epoch Times. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) is speaking out against the Biden administration’s effort to involve the United States in a treaty that would expand the power of the World Health Organization (WHO).

In a letter to Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra, Mr. Roy denounced the proposal, which he said would infringe on U.S. sovereignty in favor of the Chinese Communist Party-linked international organization. …

“The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of State … should cease all efforts to further legitimize this corrupt body by crafting a new global pandemic treaty,” Mr. Roy wrote in his letter to Mr. Becerra.
Pointing to a series of “deeply problematic” provisions in the proposed treaty, he said the United States shouldn’t seek closer ties with the WHO.
For instance, one aspect of the treaty would mandate that members work together to “combat false, misleading, misinformation or disinformation.”
That provision and others, Mr. Roy wrote, “[stand] in opposition to our country’s founding principles” and would “stifle free speech.” …
Concerns About Chinese Communist Party
Mr. Roy also cited the WHO’s links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its handling of the COVID-19 pandemic as “disqualifying” it from U.S. support.
“The WHO’s inept handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, close ties with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and endorsement of divisive political ideologies disqualify it from the United States’ membership and taxpayer support,” he wrote. …
Demand for Senate Approval
Mr. Roy also demanded that the treaty, if it should advance, be brought to a vote in the Senate, as required by the U.S. Constitution. The demand comes as other international agreements, including the Paris Climate Accords, never came to a vote in the upper chamber.
“Our founders wisely empowered the Senate with the authority to sign off on international agreements to ensure the country is not rushed into a treaty without significant discussion in Congress,” he wrote. “Any effort to circumvent Congress and join any WHO-related agreement or treaty would be an affront to the Constitution.”
Should the administration proceed with the treaty, Mr. Roy said he would seek to have Congress withhold funding from enforcing the agreement. …

Lord, Open eyes in this country and in all countries around the world to the dangers and tyranny such as the CCP imposes on it’s citizens, that are represented in this treaty. May it cause your people to lift up holy hands to you for deliverance. Cause government leaders to see the unconstitutional evil intent and take decisive steps, with support of the citizenry to withdraw from WHO, leaving it defunct. Confuse the wicked O Lord, Confound their speech. Ps55:9.
Dear Lord I agree with Representative Chip Roy in this matter with the WHO. We cannot trust this organization in any way, but we trust in you and ask that the Senate will take up this matter for discussion and we ask that they make a decision against joining with the WHO. And thank you Lord, for Representative Roy coming forth on this matter. Bless him in his efforts and save us from getting involved with this organization I pray in Jesus’ name.
Oh, precious Lord, please support Mr. Roy and others like him. Don’t allow the WHO to take over. Lord You know they just hired about a dozen people whose main qualifications are LGBTQ affiliation. This needs to stop. Please bring a revival, You are the only answer to our problems!
I thank the Lord that Chip Roy is speaking up about the consequences of this WHO agreement. Very few in the House or Senate are even taking a stand on this. We have a very short time before it is going to be adopted all over the world. This is the satanic globalist agenda at its worse. I don’t know how this will be avoided when we have an administration actively working for its adoption and a complacent Congress who had basically done nothing to stop this from happening. I pray God will intervene.
I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Roy. We should do everything in our power not to give any health care choices involving Americans over to the WHO.

Thank You Darlene for bringing that forward. I actually had (3) separate scriptures I had looked at. Matthew 28:20 was one of them. My prayer was based from reading Isaiah 48:16-20. I appreciate you being a Berean and bringing it forward, my apologies for the error and thank you!

You are the LORD our God, who teaches us in the way we should go. Hallelujah! We give You praise and thanksgiving! Justice and authority originate from You alone, not the U.S. Dept. of HHS, nor the Dept. of State, nor the WHO, so we speak to the U.S. leadership come out from WHO now. You have promised to be with us always, therefore we do not shrink back. Father, bring Heaven here to earth and accomplish in/and through us at this appointed time Justice and Righteousness. Peg, what version of the Bible are you using for that verse from Matthew 28:20? Actually it says we are to teach disciples we have made to obey all he has commanded and that He will never leave us.”

The U.S. House of Representatives has no voice in the United States becoming entangled in any treaty; that power lies in the executive branch with “advice of the Senate”, legally construed as “approval of the Senate”. However, the WHO, at the prompting of the Biden administration, has changed its nomenclature to “Global Pandemic Agreement” in an attempt to circumvent the constitutional check on executive power.
The WHO pandemic treaty is inherently evil in nature, plain and simple. Lord, I pray that, by Your grace, this , and all of the NWO- backed efforts will fail miserably. Thank You, Jesus.

This is good advice from Paul to the Galatians and good advice for us today. How ironic, our nation came into being because there were those who no longer wanted to be in subjection to the king of England nor did they want to be compelled to worship as the official “state church” dictated they do. They were seeking primarily religious freedom at that time but also freedom in all facets of life, rather than continue to live under the tyranny of the current king. They desired freedom so deeply that they were willing to leave everything they knew behind and embark on a dangerous voyage across the ocean, to arrive in a land with nothing waiting for them but the opportunity and the freedom to build and create for themselves the life they desired.
Freedom was costly and is costly still today. Our freedoms came at great cost and now we as a nation would simply hand these freedoms over to a global organization which does not have our best interests at heart (putting it mildly) and actually seeks to rule over and oppress us? When oppressed we long for freedom. Why then, do we so soon forget our past and allow ourselves to be enslaved again? This amounts to surrender without even a fight.
We were created for freedom. Our Creator, Almighty God, is Sovereign but He gave us free will. (that’s why we are in the mess we are in now – after the fall and sin entering into God’s perfect creation) God knew what would happen (He knows the end from the beginning) but He created us free anyway. Our freedom is one of God’s many good gifts – He created us to be free. And He came to set us free from ourselves and our sin.
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)
We were created to be free – so why would we willingly, carelessly give our costly freedoms away to these global organizations that will enslave us? Is it out of fear or out of ignorance? We need to wake up and be wise before it is too late. We were given the precious gift of freedom by our Creator and by our great country – let us not continue to take for granted and squander away what others gave their lives to purchase for us – our freedom. Our forefathers died, (think of the winter at Valley Forge) those in the Civil War died to secure freedom for others, those in the World Wars died so that nations and their peoples could be free – Christ died on the cross to set us all free from sin and death.

Lord, please give our leaders both the wisdom and the courage to NOT give away our country’s inheritance of hard won freedoms to greedy, global groups of unelected bureaucrats such as the WHO – who seek only their own benefit, power and control and with it, our demise, which the loss of our freedom most certainly brings. May we not remain silent, thereby allowing ourselves to again be enslaved. Thank You, for Your gift of freedom. It is Your truth that sets us free. I join the other intercessors who are so clearly supporting this. The WHO disregards our constitution, our Godly values, our democracy and our sovereignty. Our current administration is such a puppet to these forces which are a finger of Satan painting a one world government.

Lord, thank You for Rep. Chip Roy’s letter to the head of Health and Human Services. Give it a much wider audience, Lord. Raise Concern and Alarm because of the wholesale captivity intended by the WHO to deny our national Sovereignty to determine what is best for our people in keeping with our Constitution. Come to our rescue and deliver us from the diabolical WHO treaty in Jesus’ Mighty Name!! Amen.
