I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we ask You to expose the full truth about the fraud in Minnesota. Hold leaders like Governor Walz and Attorney General Ellison responsible for any wrongdoing they may have committed.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

A congressional investigation is raising serious questions about how Minnesota officials handled years of alleged fraud involving taxpayer-funded programs. A newly released report from the House Oversight and Accountability Committee concludes that Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were aware of widespread fraud much earlier than previously acknowledged, yet failed to take meaningful action to stop it.

Post a prayer for your state!

From Just the News:

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison knew about widespread taxpayer fraud in the state’s welfare programs as early as spring 2019, but took no action and instead the state retaliated against workers who tried to expose the abuses, a bombshell congressional report released Monday concluded.

The House Oversight and Accountability Committee referred its findings from a months-long probe into $9 billion-plus in fraud schemes in Minnesota to Vice President JD Vance, raising serious concerns Democrats in the state turned a blind eye to the taxpayer losses because they feared “political retribution from the politically active Somali community,”

The report said the federal government has determined that at least $300 million was stolen by Feeding Our Future and its affiliated vendors and providers from the USDA’s federal child nutrition programs and an estimated $9 billion has been lost to fraud from the high-risk Medicaid programs in Minnesota since 2018.

The committee’s report paints a troubling picture of state agencies that allegedly had the authority to stop suspicious payments but chose not to do so. Investigators concluded that Minnesota officials continued sending taxpayer dollars to organizations and providers despite identifying serious deficiencies and warning signs. According to the report, concerns about potential lawsuits and accusations of discrimination were cited more often than legal obstacles as reasons for allowing payments to continue.

The findings build upon the massive Feeding Our Future scandal, which federal prosecutors have described as one of the largest COVID-era fraud schemes in American history. Federal authorities have charged dozens of individuals in connection with the operation, alleging that millions of dollars intended to feed children were instead diverted for personal enrichment. The House committee’s investigation expanded beyond that case, examining broader concerns about Medicaid and other public assistance programs administered by the state.

Among the report’s most serious allegations is that state employees who attempted to raise concerns faced retaliation from senior officials. Investigators claim the Walz administration focused more on managing political fallout and media scrutiny than addressing vulnerabilities that allowed fraud to flourish. Committee Chairman James Comer argued that state leaders failed in their responsibility to safeguard taxpayer funds and instead protected a system that enabled abuse.

This report serves as another reminder of the importance of accountability in government. Whether these allegations ultimately lead to additional prosecutions or reforms, the stewardship of public resources is a matter of both civic responsibility and moral integrity. Scripture teaches that those entrusted with authority must act faithfully and honestly. As investigations continue, let’s pray for truth to be revealed, justice to be served, and safeguards to be strengthened so taxpayer dollars reach those they are intended to help.

Pray that every instance of government waste, fraud, and abuse would be exposed in the comments below.

Lord, I pray your justice be swift and severe on all corruption. I also pray that they would repent and turn to you before it is too late for them. In Jesus name.

Lord God, if You are willing, endow the State Leaders of Minnesota with the wisdom necessary for their several duties, with a spirit of sacrifice for the common welfare, with mercy and justice, with uprightness and kindliness. O Lord, correct the evils of selfishness, greed, a vain desire for honor, or abuse of power among them as well as in the other state governments within the United States of America. Grant that the true purposes of government may prevail, safeguarding peace and prosperity, so that the citizens of the State of Minnesota may live soberly and uprightly in Your site, O Lord, and have opportunity to tell of You and Your Kingdom. In Christ Jesus mighty and holy Name, I believe and pray! Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, I have had many talks with you for our state of MN and the lying spirits in our government. As the years of prayers for their repentence have now turned into praying for accountability. I continue to lift up Walz, Ellison and the many others in this state, that they will be released from their positions and be stopped from their constant lying, cheating and stealing. MN shall be saved! MN shall have good government leaders that are anointed and appointed by you, Father. The government rests on your shoulders Father and we trust you. Thank you for hearing our prayers. Amen and Amen

Minnesota fraud is called “baked into the budget” so we need to have God’s discernment and wisdom to stop the fraud. There is so much more that needs to be revealed and dealt with among the pirates who made promises to foreign entities if they came to the US and get set up to live well for their votes!

God help us not grow weary in reaching an end to this debacle which may take decades. Mercy and grace to every intercessor on the ground, in the Capitol, in city and state governments and JD Vance, federal prosecutors and even state of MN prosecutors (are there any?), Matt 11:28
