A bombshell new report suggests otherwise — revealing a sophisticated, tax-exempt “vote machine” that has quietly funneled hundreds of millions of dollars into an infrastructure designed to benefit one political party while hiding behind the cover of charity.

A sprawling network of left-wing donors and organizations poured roughly $638 million through tax-exempt voter-registration and get-out-the-vote groups during the 2024 election cycle as part of what researchers describe as a sophisticated, Democrat-favoring “vote machine” operating through the charitable sector and extending into future elections, according to a report obtained exclusively by Breitbart News ahead of its Monday release.

CRC researchers examined financial records from 83 of the leading 501(c)(3) voter-registration and get-out-the-vote organizations, finding that they spent approximately $638.7 million in 2024 — a 30 percent increase over 2020, or roughly 10 percent after inflation — even as inflation-adjusted spending through traditional political action committees fell by approximately 20 percent. The report argues that the tax-exempt infrastructure has increasingly been used to disproportionately benefit Democrats while offering advantages unavailable through conventional political organizations, including tax-deductible donations and far less donor disclosure.

“Americans deserve to know whether tax-deductible charitable contributions are being illicitly used to subsidize partisan political operations,” CRC President Scott Walter said in a statement. “This report follows the money and reveals a coordinated infrastructure working to influence who votes, how districts are drawn, how we elect our President, and ultimately who controls the government. Congress, the IRS, and state authorities need to examine these findings and hold ‘charities’ accountable.”

The report, published by the Capital Research Center, traces the origins of this network back to a leaked 2015 email involving longtime Democratic operative John Podesta, which laid out a $100 million plan using tax-exempt foundations to register millions of voters in key battleground states, with internal documents explicitly discussing “beating Republicans” and “reshaping the electorate.” That blueprint has since metastasized into a vast, interconnected operation touching voter registration, Census activism, congressional redistricting, the National Popular Vote Compact, and ranked-choice voting efforts nationwide.

Among the most alarming findings: the Everybody Votes Campaign distributed millions to groups later linked to voter-registration fraud, including a firm whose employees were criminally charged in Pennsylvania for forging thousands of voter registration forms. Meanwhile, the Voter Participation Center was caught deliberately excluding audiences with interests like NASCAR, Duck Dynasty, and golf from its digital voter-registration ads, quietly filtering out likely Republican voters while publicly claiming to combat voter suppression. In Virginia, more than $66 million backed a redistricting measure that could have shifted the state’s congressional delegation to a lopsided 10-1 Democratic advantage before courts intervened.

This is not charity. It is a coordinated, well-funded political operation hiding behind tax-exempt status, shielded from the disclosure requirements that govern ordinary political action committees. Wealthy donors and left-wing networks are using America’s charitable sector, an institution meant to serve the public good, as a vehicle to manipulate the very foundations of self-government: who votes, how districts are drawn, and how elections are decided.

Pray that this report would spur real investigation and accountability from Congress, the IRS, and state authorities. Pray for discernment among believers and all Americans as they navigate an information landscape increasingly shaped by hidden money and manipulation. Pray for integrity to be restored to America’s electoral process, and that those who have exploited the charitable sector for partisan gain would be exposed and held accountable. Pray, above all, that God would raise up leaders and citizens who value truth and justice over political power.
