I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we do pray that You would hold our leaders accountable. Whether the House moves forward with an impeachment vote or not, we pray that Your will would be done.

Republicans may have accused Biden of impeachable conduct, but it is unclear whether they will actually vote to impeach the President. Representative Byron Donalds thinks they have an obligation to hold the executive branch accountable.

From Fox News. Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., is urging House GOP leaders to hold a chamber-wide vote on impeaching President Biden days after a highly anticipated report accused the commander in chief of committing impeachable offenses.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

“I’ve felt that way for a long time. I’m on the Oversight Committee, I’ve seen all of the evidence up close and personal. It is without a doubt that he used his office when he was vice president to enrich his family as pay-for-play,” Donalds told Fox News Digital. “That’s public corruption.”

Referencing the phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that precipitated the first impeachment of former President Trump, Donalds added, “Listen, if a phone call is quote-unquote an impeachable offense, then public corruption absolutely is. I think the House should hold that vote.”

House Republicans released a 292-page report on Monday, a joint effort by the House Oversight Committee, House Judiciary Committee and House Ways and Means Committee, arguing that Biden engaged in “impeachable conduct.” …

Donalds’ public pressure is significant; while a majority of House Republicans have publicly accused Biden of at least acting improperly, it’s not clear that House leaders would risk forcing their most vulnerable GOP members to take such a weighty vote with just a razor-thin majority in the chamber. …

Donalds appeared to reference his colleagues’ hesitation when he told Fox News Digital he would make the case for an impeachment vote to [Speaker Mike] Johnson the next time he spoke with the GOP leader.

“It’ll definitely probably come up, and we’ll see where it is,” Donalds said. “And look, I know members, they all are trying to figure out what they’re going to do in their re-elections, but we have a responsibility to hold the executive branch accountable. That is the job of Congress.” …

How do you think the House should proceed? Share your prayers for wisdom for our lawmakers below.

Biden and his family have sinned grieveously against the American people for many years. God forgives, but first there really needs to be some accountability and justice. We have been deceived and deeply wronged over a long period of time. It isn’t Christian to just sweep all this under the rug and pretend that it never happened!! Probably there are some statutes of limitations involved, but authorities in federal offices have still not released the report on Biden being currently unfit to account for his wrongdoing or able to continue being president. Let’s back up Representative Donald’s stand for justice and righteousness. At least there should be a public report exposing the whole truth about this matter. History. needs true accountability regarding this. I pray for justice and accountability and then unilateral mercy and forgiveness following after that. We can forgive even if there’s no repentance as our Bibles teach.

Yes definitely. He should have been impeached when he was running for 2016😑
Seriously! He’s committed treason and a lot of lawlessness in this administration. Very corrupt and dangerous. People who vote for the democrats, are signing away their rights as citizens. We’re already under dictatorship.

Bless Rep. Donald’s, for staying on the narrow path to ensure accountability to those who have been given the power to protect and serve the American people. Bring righteousness to the forefront for Your glory. In so doing, this nation will be aware of the dangers of following worldly ways (another way to say it is… following satan not the Savior of the world). Place a shield of protection around Donalds, his family and all on the national level to bring America into a path that leads to Life not… death.
In Jesus’s name, amen

What’s the point? He won’t be president much longer and if impeached Kamala Harris takes over.

Accountability is a key to honesty, pray for Congress to lead the way. In the end we do all things to honor a HOLY and RIGHTEOUS GOD. Do the actions of our Congress honor Him?

Rep. Donalds is the man I would have love to see run for the Republican President nomination. He is a man of God and stands strong for what he believes America is and should continue to be. Hopefully we will still be America in 2028, and he will be led to lead our country.

TAKE A VOTE!
Heavenly Father, we pray our elected officials will be OVERTAKEN with HOLY BOLDNESS FROM HEAVEN to do the right thing for the nation. We pray they would overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, loving not their own lives, even unto death.
We pray they would put their selfish ambitions aside and TAKE A STAND AGAINST using political office, the presidency of the United States, for personal gain, pay-offs, influence peddling, power-seizing, power-suffocating, and every other abuse of power that goes along with it.
Father, forgive us for allowing our elected officials to get away with such crimes against us.
Father, forgive us for not praying for our elected officials and have mercy on us.
Father, please do NOT give us what we deserve. We’d absolutely die.
Have mercy on us and help us to remove the chaff, the tears, the enemies in our midst.
AMEN!

I couldn’t have said it better, Lisa. So amen!
The thought occurred to me that standing for righteousness before the election in this matter might be the determining factor in whether God can entrust them with being re-elected.
