Intercessor, did you know that a church in Ohio was charged for ministering to the homeless?

Chris Avell, pastor of Dad’s Place Church, sought to serve the homeless and less fortunate in his area through his church. Dad’s Place was open 24 hours a day, giving those in need a place to stay and a meal to eat. However, the police of Bryan, Ohio, took issue with this, hitting Avell with 18 criminal charges.
Luckily, Avell’s story did not end there. In a huge win for religious freedom in America, the city dropped all charges against the pastor and his church. Hallelujah!
