Recently, a major religious service was held in Times Square in New York City. But this time it did not include prayer rugs.
No, it was not another gathering of Muslims commandeering Times Square with their prayer rugs and blaring Adhan. This time, it was actually a dynamic Spirit-filled worship service on Easter Sunday that filled the iconic NYC space. Right there on the same ground. At the same location. In a spiritual battle for territory.

Lately in our nation, we have seen the full-blown displays of Islamic conquest in American streets and places of authority–state capitol complexes, city center streets, and yes, in Times Square. Islamists don’t have these kinds of public Islamic prayer sessions in Muslim majority countries–why in the U.S.?
It’s an intimidating form of dominance. A display of their numbers and their brazen presence. In the Islamic culture, mosques were built as a commemoration of conquest. The Hagia Sophia in Turkey–a former iconic Christian church– is now a Muslim mosque. Islamists in Texas are buying up struggling churches and converting them to mosques. Conquest. Dominance.
So why hold Islamic prayer in the city streets, our government buildings, and Times Square. It’s a message. There isn’t a mosque there today, but they are declaring that there will be.
Back to the vision that Pastor Mike Signorelli had to hold Christian worship on the holy day of Resurrection Sunday. Signorelli shared with CBN, “I live in New York City with my family, so I’ve got two daughters, and my wife and I are just trying to be a light in the darkness,” he told CBN News the night before the event. “And of course, New York City is getting incredibly dark, and whether it’s false religions, whether it’s witchcraft and … we’ve just seen politically it’s an incredibly dark place.”
CBN reported “Signorelli said he was praying about what he could do on Easter to help stem the tide of chaos and felt that doing a service in Times Square would be a powerful vehicle.”
Think about it. Worship is a form of spiritual warfare–our audible praises and declarations do carry weight and power! For a long time, we have watched Allah being worshipped, and through the Adhan–the Islamic call to worship, curses against infidels were spoken out into the atmosphere. Times Square (and many other sites across the nation) is a battleground for spiritual warfare. Some have even called it a portal for evil. But on Easter Sunday, it was the site where the one true God with resurrection power was declared and worshipped as supreme. Beyond those who attended in person, there were more than 40,000 watching online, and 400 came forward to receive Christ right there in Times Square.
What a shift in the atmosphere!
Intercessor, we are in a battle–it is spiritual. Islamists are ramping up their movement to increase numbers, plant strategic communities and mosques, infiltrate government, demand rewritten history in our textbooks, force Islamic holidays on our calendars and in our schools, and to use our own freedom to restrict our freedom. The battle has shifted. We, as believers and intercessors, must be engaged. Not only in prayer in our prayer closets and prayer groups, but also audibly, noticeably and courageously in our communities and in our states. If we don’t bring the Presence of God into these places, the vacuum will be filled with whatever is ready to usurp. Let’s not give them that chance.
Signorelli shared, “The devil is on the move,” he said. “He’s out to kill, steal, and destroy. He’s like this prowling lion. But there’s another lion — the lion of the tribe of Judah, and he’s roaring over our cities.” Amen!

Thank you Father God for this meeting right there in Time Square. May it happen again and again. May we as a church be vocal about you and Jesus and let the Holy Spirit speak through us to your glory. May we be in prayer, backing the demonic forces that control New York to retreat and be banished. Bless that pastor and church for stepping out in this. Protect them and use them to your glory and spreading the gospel so many may be saved. May Muslims who see what is happening be drawn to you. Give them dreams and other things that will draw them to you. Thank you for the repentance you are sending to our nations and for what you are doing.
It starts with repentance which I hardly hear anyone talk about, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14. Can have all the gathering you want, but we need as a people to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn from our wicked ways, then we will hear from heaven, and he will forgive our sins, and then he will our land, not before. Start repenting for things that been allowed, in the Body of Christ, that are unholy, unrighteousness, all on the churches watch, even sin in the camp, and cover up culture in the Body of Christ. Hurting of women and children, like God doesn’t see it all.

I agree. I’ve been praying a one minute prayer at 12 noon EST. Start by confessing the sins of myself and of the US. then I recite 2 Chronicles 7:14. Some ladies at my church start doing this prayer back in January 2026. The more intercessors praying at this time I believe heaven will heal our land.

Whatever happens, STAND FIRM in your stance for Christ. God’s people in the U.S. are getting ready to suffer for the gospel. This gospel is WORTH IT! It is the key to our reconciliation with God through Christ. STAND FIRM!

Praise God, for the courageous Christian leaders who demonstrated the faith and worship of our God by the US Christian church. Because, of the upsurge of Muslim activity as they are announcing to us their intentions to move the allegiance of this country to their faith and away from the God who established this country 250 years ago, there need to be many more gatherings demonstrating our intention to continue to claim and proclaim our faithfulness to the one true God and his church in this country. All glory to the Lord for the praise and worship in Times Square on Easter. Pastor Signorelli was presented to us on radio by IFA. I was so blessed by listening to him with Dave Kubal, so I checked him out on the Internet and then just now got the information via text of the results of his time spent in Times Square on Easter. What a day the Lord has given us to shout his praises that Jesus is alive! . Jesus is alive!. Jesus is alive!. What was so wonderful about this story is that God Almighty allowed the church to get a permit to have the service. Even though there is so much evil and darkness controlling the city, nothing stops our Lord. Nothing is impossible with our Lord. Praise the Name of Jesus.
I was on Time Square on Palm Sunday. As I was walking to church, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Catholic Palm Sunday Mass, going on in the middle of Time Square .
My grandson looked up and saw a picture of Divine Mercy Jesus, which said
Jesus I Trust in You!!!
I saw no Muslims around that whole Day, I thought that was an encouraging Sign. Jesus is not giving up on us, New York, or the United States of America., and we can’t give up on him. Jesus I Trust In You!

Praise God. I am so thankful, this needs to happen more often. The Christian churches need to be more bold and not hide in the background. And let me say; that it needs to be organized and not the irreverent services that I have seen in which no one can understand the gospel, it needs to be reverent for our God is an awesome God. I live in a remote part of the country so I had no idea that the Muslims were taking over Times Square for their services of worship.

At least one New Zealander is with you dear intercessors but the Almighty God is with you so we are in a majority in all ways. Let us obey the Lord Jesus . He said, “Greater love has no one than this that one lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” In Japan, Yukiko Yamamoto proposed marriage to a polio victim so that he could preach the gospel. She pickabacked him for 50 years. I asked this couple to live in my house to let Connie and me report to New Zealand churches. God finally made our fledgling church into the biggest in Japan north of Tokyo as far as we know and God wonderfully multiplied it into 20 churches so far. My widowed Mother obeyed Timothy 5 verse 14 and bore 7 more children ALL missionaries and missionary helpers. We 7 and our children started evangelising the world and are waiting to win it. Yukiko is still laboring and at 93 I’m just beginning…. Jesus is risen ! He is LORD!.
