I Prayed have prayed
Father, we lift up the Jewish people before You. We ask You to cut through the lies of Hamas and show the people of our nation how important the Jews are to You.

The day before two Israeli Embassy staffers were gunned down in the nation’s capital, a rabbi warned U.S. lawmakers that Hamas’ propaganda about Israel and its military campaign in Gaza has fueled a worldwide spike in antisemitism.

Eric Fusfield, a rabbi and the director of legislative affairs for B’nai B’rith International, a Jewish human rights and Israel advocacy organization, was among four witnesses whoĀ testifiedĀ at a TuesdayĀ hearingĀ titled ā€œWorldwide Persecution of Jews.ā€ The bipartisan hearing, hosted by the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the House of Representatives, comes amid reports of a global surge inĀ antisemitic incidents.

Reps. Chris Smith, R-N.J., and Jim McGovern, D-Mass., both led the hearing, during which Fusfield stressed the importance of an educational approach to addressing antisemitism while also emphasizing that governments have a duty to ensure public safety.

ā€œWe’re losing the narrative,ā€ the rabbi testified. ā€œWe’re losing the PR battle to terrorists, who rape women and decapitate babies. Somehow, in this morality play, Israel is the bad guy. It does take all of us to turn this narrative around.ā€

While the commission noted that anti-Israel animus has played a part in various antisemitic incidents following the Hamas-led terror attacks against Israel in October 2023, Jewish advocacy groups, such as the Anti-Defamation League, had already been tracking an apparent rise inĀ antisemitism.

Marina Rosenberg, the vice president for international affairs at the Anti-Defamation League, also testified at the hearing, warning that increasing antisemitism ā€œis a global emergency and it requires a global response.ā€

Rosenberg asserted that discussions about deceased Jews are not enough to combat antisemitism and help people to better understand the Jewish community.

ā€œWe need to teach about the living ones,ā€ she said. ā€œPeople need to recognize the contribution of Jewish communities worldwide, what Jews are all about, that we are human beings.ā€

At the start of the hearing, Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., who himself is Jewish, recognized the Hamas-led attacks in 2023 as one of the ā€œbloodiest days since the Holocaust in Jewish history.ā€ On Oct. 7, 2023, the terror group slaughtered at least 1,200 people in southern Israel and abducted over 240 others, including 31 Americans.

Nadler warned that when it comes to hate, ā€œwhat starts with Jews rarely ends with Jews.ā€ Ted Deutch, the chief executive officer of the American Jewish Committee and a former member of Congress, later made a similar point.

ā€œAntisemitism does not just threaten Jewish communities, it threatens the values that hold free societies together,ā€ Deutch said.

The former Florida congressman urged lawmakers at the hearing to call out any form of Jewish hatred.

ā€œCondemn antisemitism unequivocally and publicly, in all its forms, whenever and wherever it occurs,ā€ Deutch said. ā€œName it. Call it out. Be strong. When an incident occurs, it matters when elected officials speak out loudly and use theirĀ  broad reach, raising awareness that antisemitism is not just a Jewish problem but an assault on our shared values.ā€

Tuesday’s hearing occurred one day before the murder of twoĀ Israeli Embassy staffersĀ outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., where the American Jewish Committee had hosted an event.

The victims were identified as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, who were soon to be engaged. According to police, the 30-year-old suspect from Chicago opened fire on four people and fatally shot two of the attendees. After the shooting, the suspect entered the museum but was later detained by the authorities.

According to the police, the shooter reportedly chanted ā€œfree, free Palestineā€ while in custody.

In a statement shared withĀ The Christian Post, Susan Michael of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem USA, said that she met Yaron at the ICEJ Gala in honor of Israel’s 75th anniversary. Michael described Yaron and his family as ā€œcherished friends of ICEJ President Dr. Juergen Buehler.ā€

“That his life — and Sarah’s — was so senselessly cut short here in our nation’s capital is beyond heartbreaking,” she stated. “I have worked with the embassy for over 40 years, and never have I witnessed such brazen hatred against the Jewish people. This is not an isolated tragedy — it is part of a dangerous wave of antisemitism that is spreading rapidly and must be confronted with courage and moral clarity. Our prayers are with the families of Yaron and Sarah and with the entire Israeli diplomatic community.”

Lord, it is no doubt spiritual warfare that brings so much hate upon the Jews, Your chosen people. Satan is a master manipulator and fomenter, so that the Islamists, to be sure, breathe threats and hate against Israel and seek to annihilate Israel. Further, Satan fills the spiritual, moral vacuum in people who do not have a regard of Israel as the apple of God’s eye. They, too, go beyond simple protest, to ostracize any Jew that comes across their paths. Lord, in Your name, we rebuke Satan in his designs against Your people. We proclaim Your preeminence and acknowledge the place of favor You extend to Your people. May You send angels to protect Israel and Jewish students in America. Further, we pray for an awakening among so many hate-filled people. May they see their blindness and bitterness, and may they repent of it, turning to You where they alone can find peace. Finally, we pray for a greater and greater openness among the Jews to recognize that Jesus is the Messiah and can save them if they call out His name! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

A lot of the anti-Israel sentiment is obviously spiritual and hardness of heart.

But for the people who are operating from a rational place, Trump is handling it best. It’s clear that he sees the flaws of Netanyahu and his approach to things, while also deeply caring about the good of Israel.

Trump also believes in diplomacy and the language of economic self-interest.

It does Israel’s cause no favors when Christians — including some on this site — speak about Netanyahu as if he were Jesus himself, insinuate that Muslims are lost cause bordering on the subhuman (and outright ignore Arab and Iranian Christians) — and think it theologically sound to imply that annihilating Israel’s neighbors is the job of America…American soldiers even.

This kind of twisted mentality not only turns off Westerners, but Israelis as well!

And it’s clear that Jewish people don’t appreciate the patronizing views some Christian public figures express towards them. Yes idolatry of Israel ultimately comes off as patronizing.

It’s bad PR all around including for the Gospel.

What matters now is getting the hostages back and achieving whatever negotiations possible to stabilize the bloodshed. That is the Trump admin’s goal.

As I researched thr JEWS history, it became very interesting in Psalms 122;8 it says” For my bretheren and companions’ sake, I will now say, Peace be with you! The Psalmist encourages us to actively pray for the peace of Israel, not as a distant request but as a very personal one. Praying for Israel should come from the heart of love for both the Jews and our own family. As I prayed I align my heart with God’s, I KNOW HE is hurting these are connections to Him as our Savior. The Jews are the Apple of God’s eye. As we pray we must align our hearts with God’s, as we pray we can expect words to be said that will join us with God’s purposes for His people. I pray for physical and spiritual peace, that hearts will turn to God and that they will ask for peace and a completed relation with Him. My prayer is seeking peace within Israel’s borders and the wider regions that is partly causing this war. Heavenly Father I come befor You to lift up prayers for Israel and the Jewish People in other states and areas. This antisemtism against the Jews ( my thoughts are harden hearts – from the spirit of satan) because of the words chosen people). God bring unity where there is discord, lies, and a cultural presence from the Socialist, Marxist indoctorination from the press, the Professors of some Universities. Have mercy on us Lord, have mercy on us as we see the light and understanding of why so much hatred is upon our Jewish community. For those who love Israel, we pray for an end to all violence. The Israelites gives a promise in “Ezekiel 37-21-22” there are promises, God will gather them from many nations to where they have lived- v.21- Thus says the Lord God: I will gather them and take them back to their own land. This promise is in these verses of Ezekiel 37-21-22. We pray for the fulfillment of God’s promises. We ask for the hand of God to guide them and open their eyes as they use God to help them to fight back on the brazen hatred against the Jewish people. My prayers with (these words of prayer) are for the two people Yaron, Sarah and for their families. Pray they will be strong and courageous. A decree- “We decree that Christ’s (Jews) enemies are becoming His footstool. A Decree-“We release the power of Holy Spirit into every city and neighborhoid in our nation, in the authority of Jesus name.”

In Genesis 13:15, God says to Abram(Abraham), that He gives all of Israel to Abraham, and his seed(descendants) forever. Period. Full stop.
And forever means forever.

Father,
We know that in the end You will protect Israel. May you be with the Jewish people and may You bring them back to You and closer to You. You are there only hope and You are our only hope. Without You, there will be no peace on the earth. Father, You sent Your Son Yeshua to save us all. It is by Your blood that we are saved and delivered. The world is is being deceived by the evil one and falling into his hands. He is the little g of this world. You are God alone and there is NO one like you. You are all knowing and all powerful. You are greater than those in this word and greater than all the evil principalities of this world. Father bring your chosen people back to you. Open their eyes about Yeshua and may they recognize Him as their messiah. We pray for the Christians in America that they wake up and pray for Israel and the Jewish people. The Jewish people gave us the bible – the word of God. They gave us the Messiah; Jesus. Hamas which mean violent ones are in the hands of the devil. They are spreading lies about Israel and even deceiving so-called Christians. Let the Jewish people know that true Christians support and stand by them. We pray for them, yet we want them to know Yeshua. They can still be Jews and believe that Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah. You said in your word, that we can ask anything of the Father, but we must ask in the name of Yeshua/Jesus and You will give it to us. We ask you to blind the eyes of the evil ones, silence the lies and open the eyes of those who are in darkness. The are even in the United States and in positions of leadership. They are in our colleges, in our churches, in our businesses. We pray for our judges that thy end this illegal law-fare against our President. We pray for Trump that he humble himself to you and seek you for each decision. Jesus, you are our only answer.

Lord, I pray that more Christian pray for the safety of the Jewish people especially in America. Wake up the church to reach out to our people in Congress and the Judges to punish those who commit violence and incite violence against our Jewish brothers and sisters. We can’t be silent.
