Originally published in April 2021, the following miracle-reports represent the hope-filled expectation of who we are called to be and are becoming, as the sons and daughters of GOD.  

Is everything in the life of the believer spiritual warfare, or have the charismatic and Pentecostal streams of believers over-used the label spiritual warfare, like the boy crying wolf, so that we no longer believe or recognize the Enemy?  I don’t have a definitive answer to these questions, but as I’ve sought the LORD one thing is true. Each and every time a follower of Yeshua takes a breath in the earth, we are engaged in spiritual warfare; because Satan wants us dead. The enemy knows and fears the power of our inheritance in Christ more than we have understood.

Since we have been given the glory of GOD’s inheritance, the promise of surpassing greatness of His power toward believers and through Christ we are to have dominion over all rule, authority and lordship in the earth (Ephesians 1), Instead of daily media reports of Satan’s unbridled wickedness, shouldn’t reports like the following be the Church’s testimony? Imagine with me . . .

In America there have been too many reports of miraculous healings in hospitals and nursing homes to count. And it seems the number is increasing every hour.  Eyewitnesses report patients experiencing healed or new organs; dementia and Alzheimer’s patients being completely aware and healed; the paralyzed beginning to walk, run and jump; the blind being able to see with 20/20 vision almost immediately; and the stench of death associated with the cancer wards being replaced with a sweet scent of roses, as patients began to awaken, and all signs of their decaying bodies are restored.

International media report thousands of eyewitness accounts of previously missing children and women flooding churches and Christian homes across America, Asia, Australia, Canada, and Europe. Uncertain how these women and children arrived at their doorsteps, families are sharing their reports of having been miraculously rescued from human traffickers, pimps and johns. Victimizers at every level of society are being arrested, and multiple state leaders, industry titans, media icons, educators, entertainment idols and members of religious sects and congregations across the nations are among those being brought to justice!  The numbers are overwhelming, but churches and para-church organizations are reporting record high donations, volunteers and host families who are meeting the needs of these hurting survivors!

Reports out of Africa indicate there has been a Holy Spirit outpouring on the Fulani herdsmen tribes, Boko Haram, Houthis, and the Islamic Caliphate of Africa. Scores of them are professing Yeshua, turning themselves in to the authorities and returning stolen land and property to their Christian neighbors.  Revival expressed through their worship and prayer has been occurring in the streets and in remote villages across the nation for days, and authorities have been powerless to stop the jubilation.

South Korea is reporting a stream of tens of thousands of people crossing the DMZ from North Korea, and all of them are carrying Bibles. They report that they were lifted out of the concentration camps and prisons by unseen forces; placed down in the DMZ; and saw North Korean soldiers falling to the ground as if held down while they crossed to safety!

Today the underground Church in China is also reporting a righteous uprising.  Despite attempts to silence the news, confirmed reports and videos indicate that the true Ecclesia now outnumbers adherents to those espousing violence from within the CCP.  Around the world, CCP weapons are reportedly being snatched from the hands of soldiers by unseen forces. Missiles and tanks are reportedly disappearing into the China Sea.  Leaders of the CCP have retreated in fear, while the Church rejoices and glorifies God in the streets.

Across India, Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia, and Iraq, the underground church is reporting that each time Christian villages and homes are attacked, guardian angels appear to protect the people. Those wielding machetes, fire torches and clubs either fall in submission at the sight of God’s Angel Armies or they flee, leaving their weapons behind as they run. Some of the most radical pagan tribes are joining in Bible study and evangelism across these nations.

Today, after two consecutive years of double-digit declines in elective and selective abortions, and after many civil government leaders were arrested for accepting illegal kick-backs from Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups, Planned Parenthood has filed bankruptcy. Adoption rates in American churches have risen nearly 50-fold, and now Christ-led social services organizations report the lowest number of foster, state-home and runaway children that has ever been recorded.

If your answer is a resounding ‘yes’, let’s commit to allowing ourselves to be prepared to rule with Christ in every way He’s given us access. In April 2021 and today, none of these reports are true…yet.

In the same way Yeshua was able to heal the Centurion’s servant (Matthew 8, Luke 7) from a distance, I believe that in the fullness of our own faith we have been given authority through prayers, decrees, and acts of spiritual warfare to do the same.  Since we’re seated with Christ in heavenly places, neither time, distance, space or prior abuse of spiritual warfare need to hinder His will being done through our lives.

Let’s commit to asking God the tough questions and to trusting Him to reveal the answers to us, as He wills and as our character warrants.
