Lawlessness and violent crime is sweeping the nation, and something needs to be done. Let’s pray for true reform, not senseless defunding. Maybe these indications of some prominent progressives backtracking are answers to our prayers!
From City Journal. Over the past few weeks, several top progressive commentators have completely reversed their views on “defunding police” and adopted a more tough-on-crime approach. Most notably, Cenk Uygur and Ana Kasparian—key figures of the premier progressive outlet The Young Turks—have awakened to the grim consequences of the policies they initially supported.

Uygur recently posted a viral tweet lambasting the “defund the police” movement as “wildly counterproductive framing” and asking progressives when they will “admit they were wrong?” These statements contrast starkly with Uygur’s tweets during the nationwide George Floyd protests: “I’m done. I’m now supporting #DefundThePolice 100%. I already agreed with the substance of the argument & now I’m down for the framing, too.” …
Meantime, Uygur’s fellow Young Turks commentator Ana Kasparian has generated a progressive social media backlash for criticizing soft-on-crime prosecution in California. In a clip that went viral on Twitter, Kasparian decries the events leading up to 20-year-old Carlos Delcid’s alleged killing of an off-duty Monterey Park police officer last month. Before the shooting, Delcid had been sentenced to 180 days in prison, but L.A. district attorney George Gascón dropped three of the five felony charges (including witness intimidation, false imprisonment, and assault with a deadly weapon), resulting in his release the next day. …
In a number of cities, lenient criminal-justice policies have had devastating consequences. In Chicago, more than 75 percent of the 2,600 defendants monitored via the home-confinement program (a major plank in the decarceration movement’s platform) have been charged with a violent offense, including “about 100 people on home monitoring who are charged with murder.” This program has resulted in multiple preventable violent crimes, leading to Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s public condemnation of the policy earlier this year …
At last, some progressives are waking up from this bad dream and beginning to condemn ruinous policy measures that have hurt society’s vulnerable the most.

It is a blessing to see a small crack in the darkness that allows for light to shine in. The light of Christ, shines and no darkness can overcome it. May progressives not only begun to open their minds but their hearts to Jesus. The transformation will give them so much more than the power they seek, instead they will find joy, peace, and love. This will be impossible for us to achieve but with God, all things are possible.
Help Americans realize we so desperately need our police forces fighting lawlessness! Give them strength and honor Lord God 🙏!

With so much pressure from the public and moronic mindsets, is it any wonder that men and women are leaving law enforcement?
This isn’t and episode of Gun Smoke and Marshall Mat Dillon isn’t waiting around the corner to intervene at the last minute.
When I was growing up, my brother, brother in law and cousin served on our local Police department. The crime wasn’t near as prevalent as it is today but they were appreciated.
There are times in many of our lives when we have never been happier to see anyone than when we are in trouble and need a Sheriff or Police Officer.
Nobody in their right mind ever thought that defunding the Police was a
” good idea ” !
Portland Oregon was one of those cities where ANTIFA was rampant in persueing evil and there were those who cried ( defund the Police) !
Look at how Portland turned out.
So many of those and their local leaders who were all for getting rid of Police presence, have since seen the handwriting on the wall.
When crime comes calling at their door, they need Marshal Dillon after all.
Father. In Jesus Holy name we ask that You bless our brave men and women who every day choose to lay their lives on the line for us.
We pray that You will continue to touch the hearts and minds and open the eyes of those who need to see how very important a Police presence is for our safety and welfare .
We pray that You would call Godly men and women to serve in the Law Enforcement. We pray that you would lead them to live Godly lives and to protect them and Father God bless them abundantly and cause them to prosper.

For those who’s cry had been to defund the Police, please forgive them and open the eyes of their understanding.
Thank you Father for the repudiation of the defund-the-police movement. We ask that this would continue. We pray for peace in our communities and on our streets. We pray for those who must live in areas that are so crime-infected. I pray that these people who are soft on crime would have heart-changes to see their philosopy is wrong, or be replaced by those who will act in justice.
AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED! Amen
Thank you Lord, answer to orayer; however i feel (some of) the Dems are reversing their stand in some areas for the sole reason of staying in power not because they truly care about the cities and state they serve or the USA remaining a sovereign nation…trickle down from the top, Biden is and always has been a liar, caught in lies many times, look it up, and he fully supports tge NWO, again, look it up if you dont believe me, communists lie, they steal, even kill even as part of supporting their overall party goals (covid, manufactured disease) i just saw a video of leaders from tge WEF stating they made a goal 5 years ago of reducing world population by 50% by 2023, and tgey were happy that they were almost there…these people are sick and sold their souks to satan for power and wealth, certainly not the good of society, yet i meditate on this verse: psalms 37:7

It’s not enough to abandon the Democrat defund the police idiocy.
Police officer moral nationwide is severely down, with a large number of officers reluctant to take action. Officers are quitting in large numbers and police departments are having trouble recruiting new officers. Can you blame them? No officer wants to be the next victim of leftist political correctness for simply doing their job. They need our prayers, and absolute support!
George Floyd was not murdered! He died of an unhealthy life style. Free officer Chauvin!

We should stop calling them “Progressives” as they want to called. It’s another deception. “Planned Parenthood” doesn’t help women become parents either.
If we have to identify their politics with a name, we should call them “Regressives”.

This is what is called the “pre election flip flop”. Of course, the desired goal is to con the gullible voters or fence walkers into voting for them. They have no intention of keeping their “new support promise”.
For those politicians who use this ploy, let us be bold in reminding them what God does with someone who uses “dishonest weights & measures”, as well as those “who willingly speak lies”.
The loss of reverent fear & respect for God is epidemic in many gov’t officials as well as our society.
Father God I lift up all of our officers that are trying to do their job under such pressure that we have never seen on this Earth Lord release your wrath on the evilness that is happening to the USA no weapon formed against our police officers will prosper in the name that is above all Jesus Christ father God you see every one of your children and what they are doing behind closed doors expose them all and show them who you are you are a father of righteousness and correction
