A major medical device group in Michigan faced a cyberattack earlier this week, causing a “global network disruption” to its Microsoft suite. Even worse, the group was allegedly targeted by an anti-Israel, pro-Iranian hacktivist group.

Michigan-based medical device company Stryker announced on Thursday it is experiencing a “global network disruption” to its Microsoft suite following a cyberattack that may have ties to a pro-Iranian group.
Fox News spoke to a Stryker employee based in Boise, Idaho, who confirmed the attack and said they were unable to access their network.
The employee said they were advised to avoid connecting to any Stryker VPN networks or software on any device, and coworkers’ work phones were wiped Wednesday morning.
Stryker confirmed the attack, informing its customers that it is “experiencing a global network disruption,” according to Fox. The company stated is currently has found “no indication of ransomware or malware” and believes that “the incident is contained.”
A pro-Iranian hacktivist group took credit for the attack on social media, accusing Stryker of being a “Zionist-rooted corporation.” The hackers claimed their cyberattack had affected 200,000 systems and extracted 50 terabytes of data. Stryker, meanwhile, has not confirmed the hacktivist group’s involvement.
If this group is behind this cyberattack, it is yet another way in which the conflict in the Middle East is affecting Americans. As Operation Epic Fury continues, let’s pray for protection from both Iran and hacker groups aligned with the Islamic nation!

Lord God of Heaven and Earth, I pray you handle this attack on striker quickly and protect them from any other poor outcomes that could potentially arise. Lord I ask it for the sake of all the Neonates who need this equipment for survival in our world. These individuals are not just hurting a company, they are harming innocent infants who need proper equipment to live, to be protected in out hospitals and during emergency transport. Innocent, beautiful infants who deserve comfort and security. And new mothers and Fathers who need hospitals to be able to obtain what they need.
Protect our infants, provide for hospitals and families, and protect this company that produces necessary equipment for live saving care.
Bind back the enemies plans to harm life itself.

Father, for too many years we have relied upon technology to care for us in so many different ways. We’ve spread our personal information into cyberspace where it can be accessed by anyone with a bent to do so. Forgive us for not relying upon You completely. Forgive us for being naive. Lord, I cal forth the warring angels in the air to place hedges of protection around those who stand up for Israel. Then, send those angels to set a net and a trap for those who are bent to destroy those very people and organizations. May their “arrows” fall in barren places. May their stony hearts be broken apart and become soft and pliable to receive God’s Word and be saved. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
