I Prayed have prayed
Lord, You told said in Matthew 25, "I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me." Only a few verses later, You told us that whatever we do for the least of us, we do for You. Help us not to neglect these prisoners because of the mistakes they've made, but to intercede for them that they may be saved, healed, and transformed.

Louisiana State Penitentiary, also known as Angola, is the largest maximum-security prison in the United States.

God Behind Bars is on a mission to reach the more than 2.3 million people in the prison system, including those serving sentences at Angola. …

God Behind Bars CEO Jake Bodine started the ministry in 2009 to “reach the least of these” and it has blossomed into a revival-type movement at correctional facilities across the country.

“We have seen almost 1,000,000 salvations,” he shared in an online video. “Over 10,000 baptisms! Jesus gets the glory, it’s all about Him. Just remember, your seemingly small YES to God, can go farther than you could ever imagine. Give God your YES!”

During the outreach at Angola, inmates were given a hot meal, a pair of socks, and soap in addition to worshipping together and hearing about the redemptive love of Jesus Christ.

As a result, 50 incarcerated men, including a prison security officer, were baptized in a large tub during the service. The ministry reported that for more than 30 minutes “man after man flooded down to the baptism pool.” …

LORD GOD’ PLEASE CONVICT THE LOCAL SHERIFF JOE MC GILL WHO IS REFUSING PRISON MINISTRIES AND ALL FOIA REQUESTS. CLEARLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND ILLEGAL AS WELL AS UNLAWFUL. THIS TYRANT IS AND HAS BEEN OUT OF CONTROL FOR YEARS, TORTURING PRISONERS AND CORRUPT JUDGES WHO REFUSE TO ADMINISTER JUSTICE. NYE COUNTY IN NEVADA IS THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTY IN AMERICA, ACCORDING TO THE FBI. PLEASE END THIS MAN’S TYRANNY.
I ASK IN JESUS’ NAME.
AMEN

We rejoice with those who rejoice!! Lord, may this be a powerful awakening – true repentance leading to salvation, healing, restoration, deliverance, Holy Spirit baptism, discipleship, transformation – ultimately lives fully committed to following hard after You and walking in obedience to whatever calling You have destined for them.

This is a wonderful thing. I pray that revival might spread to those who are not physically in prison, to our society in general. Thank you Jesus, for what You are about to do in our nation.

Lord, we praise and thank you that you can turn a prison sentence into an opportunity to meet our Lord as Savior. I heard many testimonies in Kairos ministry and I pray that you will open floodgates of your saving grace upon millions of those deceived by the enemy of our souls to see your glory. Amen

I mentor for Crossroads Prison Ministry which does not physically go into prisons but instead prisoners do a Bible study through mail. Each lesson when completed is sent to a mentor to review and aid their comprehension plus return with a letter of encouragement and Biblical counsel. For many, it is the only mail they get so it is more than a study- it is a gift of love from outside their prison walls. Crossroads always needs mentors especially bilingual.
Each ministry has its own approach using talents and availability of those who desire to “visit those in prison.”
Lord, we ask you today to raise up many whose gifts for writing, visiting with empathetic listening, and administration and courage to create innovative ways to save the lost are mightily used for your glory. Amen.

Thank you for your service, Janet, to this largely unreached group of people. How sad that many of them landed in prison because they did not hear and/or respond to the Gospel, and now are still not hearing it. They are a captive audience. They deserve to hear and hopefully respond to the message of salvation in Yeshua.
