Last night the vice-presidential candidates traded ideas, vision, facts, and opinion. We’re wondering–what’s your reaction? As you pray, what are you sensing from the Lord? Let’s have a prayerful, thoughtful dialogue in the comments below this article. Please focus on prayer and what the Lord is showing you as you pray.
You can release the authority of God’s Word into any situation. FIRST, speak Scripture aloud, with confidence, and it is helpful to personalize it to the situation at hand. SECOND, choose to have faith that the Scripture is true, no matter what things look like in the natural. THIRD, praise the Lord!
Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and that light dwells with Him…. For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. I was so blessed by our VPOTUS and how he handled the debate. He was very polite and complimentary to Sen. Harris but he set boundaries and stayed with them. He is truly a man of the Spirit. He is a modern day Daniel. He set a precedence for future debates. Not only that, he showed the Body of Christ how to legislate in the Spirit, by the Spirit and through the Spirit of God. The Ekklesia took it’s authority back during the debate. Oh and by the way, our POTUS has shown the Ekklesia how to stand fearlessly, standing with the full armor of God on. The Ekklesia must become a wrecking ball like POTUS but get the job done Like VPOTUS while remaining calm but dropping bombs where they should be dropped. He did his homework well. But he was prayed up and I for one was praying in the Spirit at all times and so were millions of others.
In the middle of the debate a big fly came from nowhere and sat on Vice presidents hair. It was such a shock and strange to see this fly on his white hair. It sat there for some time and dissapeared,
The fox News Chris Wallace commented on it.

Lord, may You help each one of us who seek to hear Your voice and apply it as we pray throughout each day, to be doers of your Word. Enlighten us. Reveal to us our path as your disciples. Help us so we can be most efficient for You and Your kingdom. May Your Word become more real to us than the circumstances we are facing. Help us Lord to speak Your Word in faith in whatever situation we are believing for, and may we boldly declare victory, in thanksgiving to You, as we speak Your Word over it. We know that if we pray according to Your will the victory is ours.
Help us to believe what we petition You, and as we declare it, may we we receive it from You and claim it, never doubting. In so doing we trust You are manifesting Your promise to us. We want to believe in our hearts what we ask because your Word says, if we do, it WILL be given to us. Help us Lord to have this kind of faith, as Jesus taught us.
Hebrews 11:1-3 says, “Now faith IS the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible”.
Help us to have this kind of faith Lord, so that we declare is manifested. Help us to believe before we see, then to trust You are working it out. FAITH ITSELF IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR AND THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN. Your promises Lord are ours when we line up with your will. Help us to renew our minds to themind of Christ by believing Your Word is true. When we pray, we believe what we ask IS ours.
Help us Lord to grow spiritually in this way. Christians in America and the world need to believe Your Word is true, no matter what we see, feel or touch. No doubts Lord. Help us to help You. We ask that you help our unbelief so we have no unbelief in our souls when we pray because Your Word speaks the truth. You are alive today and Your Word still works!
Emmanuel, God inside of us, teach us how to be mighty spiritual warriors through Your perfect Holy Spirit and Your Word. Lord God Almighty, we trust You for all that we need. And all we need to do is believe what you say is true as we pray. Thank you Lord. We can’t lose with you, our triune God. Help each and every intercessor in Jesus’ name I pray.

Lord Of heaven and earth we lift up your anointed, pres Trump and We wonder how he survives the daily bombardment and lies and pressure…only by Your Grace. That alone is revealing and should give us all encouragement.I
I feel strongly that more of God’s Truth will be revealed in the next days and weeks and there will be a major event that will change many hearts to support our president. With God’s blessing, protection and millions of prayers pres Trump will be re-elected. He will be God’s servant to heal our land.

Dear Roxie, that sounds good however there is great difficulty with thinking Lord you take care of things, let us out of the fight. the Lord has recruited us to be in the fight against Satans agendas and the first disciples stayed in the partnership fight with Him. Paul said he would rather opt out and be with JESUS in Heaven instead he knew he must stay until the Lord says otherwise. As we all know all of the disciples stayed and were the hands, the feet, the mouthpiece, the heartbeat of our Lord God like David, Daniel, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, Deborah,Esther, Joseph, Gideon, all the prophets…on and on I could go, no sacrifice was too great for them…all but John were martyred. We are called to fight the good fight like soldiers we are called to be with our Commender in Chief Jesus who’s banner over us is love, sacrifice and victory for our rewards will be in Heaven and on earth! My prayer for myself and other believers too that we would have the courage of the Lion of Judah and standup for Jesus rather than cower in our bunkers of comfort.
Thank You Lord for answering our prayers that we offered up to You for Vice President Pence for the debate. Thank You for giving him the wisdom and grace to speak the truth with love. Thank You for exposing the truth about the Democratic agenda, their contradictions, and values. We give You the glory for the victory and for Pence’s righteous heart. May the good results of his spirit-filled words bring clarity and release from deception to all who hear the debate. May Your God breathed words breathe in life and spiritual liberty and healing to our nation, and grant Your favor upon President Trump to lead the American people to vote Your will. In Jesus’ name.
Harris reminds me Of a friend I used to have it was absolutely beautiful but then when she started talking you realized how ignorant she was.
Rather than take sides, I would ask the Lord Jesus to come and take over. What we really want cannot be ascertained here on earth. We want peace, security, love, and for everyone to get along. We want perfection! We live in a corrupt world. Lord, help us to keep our eyes focused on you knowing that you could come and get us at any blink-of-the-eye! Help us to be ready to go and live with you forever rather than focused on fighting here on this earth to keep our kingdom in tact. We want your kingdom to come and your will to be done. In Jesus Name!
Amen! I think that when God put a rainbow over the White House recently, he was sending the message that he is over ALL. The government is on HIS shoulders. That picture was beautiful! I live in the kingdom of God. I will always live in the kingdom of God. Nothing on earth will change that so I can live in peace.
Father, You invite us to consider the ramifications of the Fall. Please bring to our remembrance the generosity and WISDOM You demonstrated through that initial sacrifice in the Garden which was prophetic of CLEANSING that occurs because of the BLOOD of JESUS and the ways in which we, too, as motivated by Your nature in us, need to be rich in extending forgiveness, grace and mercy to those still caught in the snare of the deceptive, defeated foe. We choose to emulate You and for the joy set before us and especially set before You, we willingly lay on Your altar our self-centeredness, our self-serving ways – our wills, our ways, our wants – for the glory of conversion and transformation of those who SEEM irrevocably lost. We acknowledge You as the Author and Finisher of our faith and we CHOOSE to allow Holy Spirit truly to to set us apart for Your glory. I have been praying for this country and that we would turn our face toward God. I pray that our laws will be changed where same sex marriage isn’t allowed anymore and that the Supreme Court returns to biblical teaching in governing our land. That Roe vs Wade will be overturned and we will have Godly people in Washington DC that will always look at Christian principles when making decisions about all things in government. If my people who r called by my name will humble themselves and pray and see my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. Our country needs a divine healing from God . Thank u Jesus for your love and mercies. Praise u for what u have done that we may live with u in glory one day. Lord protect future generations from the evil that is on this earth I pray that all our young people will turn to u and seek u. In the name of our precious JESUS. Amen
Mike Pence was undoubtedly the winner in last night’s debate. Even though there was apparent favoritism shown towards Kamala Harris, he made his point, but he was a gentleman when he did it. Harris, on the other hand, seemed to get more talking time and seemed to talk down to the vice-President when she would say things like “Excuse me, I am talking.” I was quite proud of Vice-President Pence. May God bless him and his family.
As I thought about the debate this morning I thought about the thousands of listeners who allow the media to think for them. I pray that they will understand that it’s not just Christian (religious) values and LIFE at stake here but things like freedom of speech, freedom to assemble, the second amendment and others we hold dear. I was thankful for Mike Pence’s sound mind and very articulate words. Several scriptures come to me this morning.
“The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.” Proverbs 8:13
“When the servant of the man of God got up early and went out, he discovered an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. So he asked Elisha, “Oh, my master, what are we to do?” Elisha said, “Don’t be afraid, for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed, “ Lord, please open his eyes and let him see.” So the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
2 Kings 6:15-17
There are moments when I fear, especially as I hear polls, then I have to remember that I need to use my spiritual eyes and trust that God has heard the prayers of thousands.
Also, when Jehoshaphat was afraid and turned to God, this word came from the Prophet
“Jehoshaphat was afraid, and he resolved to seek the Lord. Then he proclaimed a fast for all Judah…
and he (the Prophet) said, “Listen carefully, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast number, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
2 Chronicles 20:3,15.
I love these wonderful examples in God’s Word. God knew that in 2020 we would need these to bring encouragement and faith as we fight on our knees for our nation. And again I’m reminded of this,
“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”2 Corinthians 10:3-5
So brothers and sisters we link arms and fight this battle in a way that the world does not understand but according to His Word and we see what the world does not see but according to what God allows us to see and trust Him for the results. In the powerful Name of His Son Jesus Christ.

I Agree with your insight and articulating the truth! May God continue to strengthen the followers of Christ during these days of confusion, chaos and uncertainty! On Christ the solid rock we stand! All other ground is sinking sand. I was so blessed when our God fearing Vice President spoke with boldness as he proclaimed, I am Pro Life. I believe that God will honor The President and Vice President in exponential ways!
Thank you King Jesus for You have defeated death, hell, sin and the grave! Praying that many people in Washington DC will come to the cross of Christ and exchange their robes stained with sin for the robe of righteousness that Christ offers to all who will come!
I thought the debate was boring. There was no fight in either candidates. I was disappointed especially with Kamala Harris as she was only repeating the Party Platform. She never answered any of the questions and Mike Pence was too soft on the moderator and Kamala Harris.
But out of all that, Mike Pence looked more in control than Kamala Harris. Either way, this country is deep trouble and needs to change, it needs to come back to the Lord and soon. We as a nation need to return to our Christian values or else this country will be destroyed permanently as judgment against us will not end, It is crucial that Donald Trump wins.
He is the reason we still have a nation and when he leaves,so does the Spirit of God and the death of America will happen. Vote for the one who is appointed by God to lead this country in the right path- Donald J. Trump.

I prayed that all the people that watched the debate last night will see the truth that will set them free from the bondage of selfishness but instead will VOTE what is best for America as a country. Therefore they all will go out to vote on Nov. 3, 2020 for LIVE .. NO ABORTION CANDIDATE.

Father God, we thank you that there is no grass tall enough for the serpent to hide in from YOUR sight. You see all. Man looks at the outward appearance, but you are the only on who can see a person’s heart so you are the only one who is the Righteous Judge. We trust in you. VP Pence is clearly a wise, humble man. I pray he would know that you are saying, Well done, good and faithful servant. He looked straight at the millions of people watching and said unashamedly, I AM PRO-LIFE. His is a voice of authority and I thank you for the strongholds that were torn down as he spoke those words. For “pro-choice” is something that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and we have the spiritual weapons to tear it down. Lord, we pray that there would be no virtual debates in which Mr. Biden can “hide” behind a teleprompter or someone else answering for him. The American people need to hear him talk about policy. We entrust this situation to you. In Jesus Name. Amen.
My husband and I noticed that, although toned down, there were many examples where the moderator ‘favored’ the senator over the VP, she got several more ‘words in’ and the time was inequitable for the two. Whenever Ms. Harris disagreed with VP Pence’s truth points, she’d call on Ms. Page to cut him off.
I felt that he did a very good job and was controlled and respectful while not allowing misleading statements. Sen. Harris has lied about most of the items in the debate and there are videos and news reports of statements made by her and Joe Biden at public appearances over many years as well as recently. Her voting record speaks for itself and can be checked online. The one statement that Joe Biden has made that is true is “We are in a fight for the Soul of this country” the only thing that he doesn’t tell you is that he is on the other side.
Please pray for my children and others to have their eyes opened to the lies and evil intentions being pushed this election. I do not argue with them but try to guide them. They are believing what the mainstream media is pushing and are blind to conservative news stations. This is not how I raised them but after attending local college their views have been distorted and they believe the lies.
Saints: Kamala straight up lied about fracking. I heard a recorded video this am of Joe stating that he absolutely would not allow fracking. Please church do not fear of cave in or let the giants threaten us. We need to continue to pray for our leadership and hold fast that God will fight for us as the church continues to arise fast pray repent and not grow weary even once the battle is over forget that we need to continue to pray without ceasing to uphold our leaders and principles of our nation like we historically do. This is all I have time for!

Vice President Pence also called her out on her and Senator Biden’s refusal to say whether they would ‘pack’ the Supreme Court or not: not only was Justice Ginsburg opposed to it, but the American people are as well. (See my response to Tiger, below- Oct. 8, 1:12 pm., where a pair of links are provided) Frankly, this was a brilliant move on VP Pence’s part. She felt free to lie about fracking (since she knew the moderator would not call her out on it), but not as free to express a similar lie about packing the court. “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11)
Heavenly Father, I pray that lies will be exposed and people will see both parties for what they stand for.
Mike Pence kept his composure very well. Whenever he disagreed with Kamala Harris, he did it in a respectful way. This debate was more professional and not as much interruptions. I pray the truth will be revealed and God’s will be done.
I believe that was partly due to the moderator, and partly due to Mike Pence’s natural demeanor. He did manage to call her out on some fracking deceit and other issues, such as packing the Supreme Court. I’m glad he kept knocking on that issue door, because neither Kamala Harris nor Joe Biden will give a straight answer on this. They know full well packing the Supreme Court is not only something Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg opposed, but something most of the American people do, as well.

This reason alone is enough for me to pray:
Heavenly Father, please allow a just system to come out of the presidential election.
I thought Mike Pence did very well during this debate. He was poised and professional. He revealed the truth about many things. I pray that the American people can gain discernment for the truth and vote for religious liberty and biblical values.
Mike Pence was calm and truthful. Kamala’s practiced, exaggerated facial expressions and many false statements were both shocking and frustrating. I have prayed for God to reveal truth to the American people; not political party truth, but Godly truth. I know that the battle for our nation belongs to the Lord. I believe this battle us being fought in the heavenlies, and God has already won …. His plans and purposes will go forth. We must humble ourselves, repent, pray, and agree with God.
