Ukraine is entering winter with their energy capability degraded and more structures destroyed. More aid makes sense at this point. It is the compassionate thing to do. It is the Godly thing to do.

Russia and, since they are supplying troops and weapons, China, North Korea and Iran are in an alliance against Ukraine. Their goal, which has been stated for all to see, is world dominance. Ukraine is just the second step. Annexing 20% of Georgia was Putin’s first step (all but ignored by American press).

Supporting Ukraine has been good strategy for the United States. It caused Putin to pause in his aggression WITHOUT SCARIFICNG AMERICAN LIVES but, unfortunately for the Russian people, has cost something like 700,000 Russians to be injured or killed. It tied Putin up so he could not support Assid which led to the collapse of his government and a redrawing of the Middle East. It sent a signal to China that we will not back down. It caused us to clean out our Cold War equipment in storage and to get money for replacement equipment. AND our equipment was tested in battlefield conditions WITHOUT COSTING AMERICAN LIVES and we now know that tanks are not as effective in a modern battlefield and need to be redesigned if used at all. We also have current knowledge as to what works with drones. AND money which was labeled ‘aid to Ukraine’ was used to plan for expanding our manufacturing abilities. Because it was the moral thing to do is just the icing on the cake.
