President Trump recently put forth a new idea to counter violent crime, suggesting sending serial criminals to other nations. What do you think of this idea?

“We also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times, 41,42 times, in a couple of cases,” Trump said. …
“And I say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they’ve been arrested many, many times–they’re repeat offenders by many numbers–I want them out of our country,” he added. “I also will be seeking permission to do so.”
Trump then said America would pay “a very small fee” to a “foreign land” that housed the worst of criminals …

Sorry, President Trump. This where we disagree. Please don’t continue to ‘Put the idea out there & see where it lands.’ It might sound like just the thing, but the future consequences of such a thing, not only here but internationally can turn out to be catastrophic to America and her citizens. What country could you even muster up faith in trusting?
Holy Father, Creator of all creation, Maker of all things made, continue to reveal your aims and goals to our President, that he may have the insight, wisdom and discernment to guide America and we Americans back to the Republic our forefathers designed with You. Thank You, all praise & glory to your Son, our Savior, Jesus.

Does this mean that the President may be sent to prison overseas when his term is over, and his criminal cases concluded?
Father, You are our All Knowing God. I believe that You are guiding and directing President Trump to know the right thing to do in each one of these cases. President Trump said this is reserved for violent serial killers who have repeated these crimes 30, 35 times…to even 41 or 42 times in a couple of cases. He takes all of the factors into account. I thank You, Father, for helping him to do what is right in every case that is brought before him in Jesus’ name.

I do not think this is good plan. If they are citizens, they need to be here. There might come a time when righteous people are considered criminals, and this would open the door to send them to other countries. I pray that God would work in our prisons to change hearts. He has done a lot of that and it should be our responsibility as children of God to pray for those in prison that God would change their hearts.
Why should we export our problems to another country? If the criminals are Americans it is our responsibility to imprison and rehabilitate them if at all possible. I would be irate if the USA started accepting serial criminals from other countries into our prison system for us to deal with.

For 25 years, I taught “the worst of them.” After meeting with parents and guardians, I quickly realized why. Shouldn’t this issue be included in the planning of “Make America Healthy Again?” For various “reasons,” children are conceived only to be aborted, abandoned, abused….but I believe a DEDICATED focus on family is imperative to bring about hope and change:
– [ ] counsel and assistance for unplanned pregnancy
– [ ] counsel and assistance for adoption
– [ ] real family leave
– [ ] childcare initiatives…check the costs for safe childcare !!??!!?
– [ ] tax credits
So many more ideas but I will spare you…
Dear Heavenly Father, I believe each abuser was once the target. They grow up to be the dangerous adults Pres. Trump was talking about. I have seen first hand the transformation with help, thank You for that privilege. And thank You for helping me daily to serve thes “incorrigibles.” I pray You will seed in good ideas and the plans for implementing them. I pray You will remove the violent. But I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, You will do this not only in the physical but the spiritual, too. I love You Lord and I am asking for this to be realized and so much more….Amen

I don’t know. If they were born here, they still have constitutional rights. The Democrats could send Republican and pro life protesters to prisons in socialist countries when they get back in power. The Patriot Act was supposed to be used to fight terrorist members but it has been used against conservative Americans. They should be kept in prison and have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel which alone can change people’s hearts and minds.

Yes, move violent repeat criminals to other countries. The cost to American citizens would be drastically reduced if government were serious.
No, I don’t like that idea. If immigrated here, yes, send them back to their countries. If Americans, we should deal with our own – keep them off the streets. If we send them to another country, that country could easily win them over to fight against us at some future time. Lord, please give wisdom.
Status for each inmate would be accounted for. Details can be worked out. We may be able to eliminate maximum security prisons, saving us billions. This would be the best deterent to crime. Blessings
I feel if they are citizens of our country, they should remain imprisoned here. If not a citizen of USA, return them to country of origin
What a great idea! This could be a really effective message to any criminal mind to have to face the way criminals are treated in other countries. Unlike the Prisons in America, there is no Mercy shown to criminals. I say put the word out there for the criminal mind to Ponder and perhaps even to repent?

I believe this is a God inspired idea that prevents career criminals from training others who they are housed with them on lesser charges. I pray that this idea becomes a reality and is quickly implemented in the name of Jesus
