PRAY, for all things, without ceasing, to the Glory of God

Dear Lord and God Almighty, we are weak and do not know how to pray as we should. Holy Spirit please step in and articulate our prayers, with groans too profound for words. You Lord, pursue and explore our hearts and You know the Spirit’s mind because He pleads to You for us, to align us with Your will. Help us to be confident, KNOWING You are able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love You and accept Your invitation to live according to Your plan. Your eternal love reached into the future. You saw, and knew those who would be Yours one day, and You chose us beforehand to be conformed to the image of Your Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn of a new family of believers, all brothers and sisters. You chose us beforehand, You called us to a different destiny so that we would experience what it means to be made right with You and share in Your glory. As we pray for a turnaround in our nation, please hear our prayers to be saved in this coming election, for Your glory and the good of America. I pray for Your people everywhere, in Israel, Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea and all nations… we desperately need Your intervention. I praise and thank You as I remember Jesus’ words, “with people, this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Amen

C.R., i feel the need to share….when I was praying the other morning, I felt incapable and literally said, “I have nothing Lord.” But I quickly heard, “… the Holy Spirit (will) pray for you…” At that moment and with the Bible I had (in my prayer closet) I couldn’t locate the verse…but I was led into a meaningful time of prayer. Today, in an unrelated moment, I found the scripture. I read and reread and was moved to make God’s Word concerning prayer, my prayer….personalized. Jesus rebuked the tempter with the Word of God, that is what I will do. I feel so blessed to have this privilege, not only to pray but to have The Scripture readily available. So many yearn for this gift. The Power is in The Word. May our Triune God bless and reward us all, according to His Word.
