We received this email from a good friend of ours, Allan Parker of the Justice Foundation. You may have heard Allan on one of our prayer calls, or read about his efforts to overturn Roe v Wade in our alert articles. The White House is involving the faith community at every level–and continues to do so during this crisis. In fact, Intercessors for America will be included on a call with the White House on Friday. We are grateful for their recognition of the importance of pastors, ministry leaders and Christians in matters of our nation. We are sharing this email from Allan as an encouragement to you, and to ask you to join in praying for the prayer request Vice President Pence shared on the call. Read on…

“I just got off the phone with Vice President Mike Pence speaking to me and a group of conservative leaders. By God’s grace, I was invited to be on the phone call. I would like to relate some of his thoughts to you.
First, he does encourage everyone to follow the guidelines from the White House on how to slow the spread of coronavirus. This disease is apparently three times more contagious than the flu and can be quite deadly to some people. It is important to stop the spread of this at this time. I encourage you to listen to the daily briefings which are very informative.
I was most impressed when the first question to him was, “How can we pray for you and your family?” He was grateful for the question and grateful for the prayers but he said, “Please pray for those who have suffered loss and for those on the frontlines like grocery store workers, healthcare professionals, police and firemen who are working in this environment and then coming home to their families every day.” Pray for those who have fear that the peace of the Lord would be with them.
He also wanted us to share the story of millions of Christians who are helping their neighbors and that all Americans are in this together. He suggested we try to find the vulnerable and get them help. If we know people who can’t get out, offer to shop for groceries for them and other acts of kindness and love at this time.
After Vice President Pence left the call, his staff indicated in answer to questions that they are working to attempt to protect America’s religious liberties and to stop the promotion of abortion. His assistants did say that we all need to remember that temporary cessation of our liberties in many ways including the right to work, the right to travel, the right to worship and other important liberties are being curtailed for a short, emergency reason. We must not let this become the new normal. He indicated that perhaps the disease could be incomplete containment by June but that this month of self-quarantine would help greatly.
I am glad that we have a Vice President who is a man of God and who is very much on top of the situation. He does an amazing job during these daily briefings and is in charge of the corona task force for this government-wide response.”

Oh Lord! what a blessing it is to be able to communicate with you in prayer, intercession and supplication and, know that you hear us because is in your Word. ” This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15. We ask you Lord that President Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence would be able to discern thru your Holy Spirit, any evil and lying spirits that may be around them and rebuke them. Dearest Lord Jesus, I do pray for VP Mike Pence, He is an excellent VP with many giftings being used at this moment. Strengthen Him, Encourage Him, Keep Him Healthy, Keep his family safe as well. Give him divine wisdom in this critical time. Let Him know that many are praying for him and standing with him in this moment in time. We Look to you Lord Jesus to give him your grace, wisdom, courage, and justice on a daily basis. Let him feel your presence and guidance. AMEN
Father, we have come to a place in America when we can see ” the enemies of God’s people are many, but our eyes are on You,” for In You is all wisdom and counsel. May Your hand of protection, wisdom, counsel be with our President and Vice President in this time. Many are the voices that surround them but I pray that they will hear Your voice and know Your direction for this nation. I pray that You would bind up the tongues of those who speak against our leadership and as a nation and all in authority we would repent from our desire to rule. Restore us as a nation and renew the people, protect all those who are caring for the sick and protect them as You did in the time of the Passover. We have been redeemed by the Precious Blood of Jesus and I ask that because His Blood was shed for us that You would cleanse, heal and protect all those who are afflicted and all those who care for the sick. Be the comforter for those who have lost loved ones and Have mercy on our nation. May we see Your glory as You move on our behalf and may many come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He is our hope of glory. Amen
I pray:
1. that ALL frontline/essential providers diligently begin, end and maintain each day in/with fervent, confident prayer, preferably jointly with their families, co-workers, alliance organization’s representatives/colleagues.
2. for the abounding peace, comfort, strength, wisdom and healing of the Holy Spirit to fill needy and vulnerable individuals and groups world-wide, AND for their health, safety and salvation through Jesus Christ, AND that they will gratefully thank God and do His will, His way, and to glorify Him in every way possible.
3. that God sustain us through the spiritual battle for our religious freedom world-wide, and strengthen humankind in health and safety and to stand up for religious freedom and remain courageous and vigilant in HIM in fighting for it.
4. for Vice President Pence, his wife, Karen, their entire family and all staffers they are surrounded by, that they keep rested, faithful, strong, healthy, safe, stable and loving toward each other, the entire Trump administration, our country and the world. God has already told us in HIS WORD everything HE has already done. My prayer is that God’s people will read God’s word and apply their faith to what God has promised. The faith of the CHURCH is the substance of the things God has already promised. Healing and protection from every evil work of the devil are covered in God’s promises. My wife and I have been praying DAILY for President Trump and Vice President Pence – and their families – since their first day in office. We ask God to give our leaders – including the cabinet members – the courage and strength that only God can give them during these very, very trying times. We both pray that God will do a “Passover of America” soon – it is obvious to us God is shaking up the his creation. As God has taught all of us in II Chronicles 7:14 – “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” This is a terrible plague we are facing and our prayer is that America will wake and pray for forgiveness. God Bless America and thank you in the name of Jesus that we can offer up these prayers.
Jerry, 2 Chronicles 7:13 gives a deeper understanding of 2 Chronicles 7:14. It is all about “My people”. The ball is in our court. It is we who need to repent; it is we who need to turn from our wicked ways; it is we who are at fault; it is us to whom GOD is talking. We who skip church to go to a ball game; we who spend our tithes on ourselves instead of bringing them into the storehouse; we who make decisions without first consulting GOD. Yep! WE are the problem! It begins with we.
Yes. “Christians” practicing SIN. Sexual immorality [My Christian brother and his Christian girlfriend are living together unashamedly. Apparently it’s okay after each partner has 2 divorces. My sister-in-law, who works at a Christian radio station, and her boyfriend draw the line at living together, but have regular sleep-overs.], abortion, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, tobacco use, pornography and on and on.
Father, open our eyes to our sins, bless us with humility that we would repent! Sanctify us, O Lord! Not my will, but THY will be done! In Jesus’ precious, mighty, holy name I pray. Amen.
We agree in prayer with the above requestS AND are praying for our nation, leaders and Families, we cover all of us with the presence of the Lord and we pray that the Lord intervenes in behalf of our life and this pandemic can soon stop in the name of Jesus.
I am praying for our First Responders and the difficult job they have as they are in the thick of this Virus. May the doctors and medical staff feel the prayers that are offered up for them. I pray for the Homeless and the elderly that we can come along side of them to encourage and show God to them in a very tangible way. I pray that the Lord would surround those Believers with an ever increasing Faith in what God is doing and to show them the Holy Spirit is mightily at work in this situation. I pray that those who do not know the Lord can have a new life through Jesus Christ and that they can reach others for Him. I pray for Vice-President Pence his family and staff. Lord Jesus we plead Your blood over all grocery workers, first responders, hospital staff, and those helping neighbors, Vice President Pence and family! Lord Jesus we praise You that You are giving all the ones mentioned wisdom and knowledge to protect themselves and those they come in contact. We thank You Lord Jesus that ministering spirits have been released to fight in the heavenlies against the evil behind this pandemic and praise You Lord Jesus the end of the pandemic is in sight!

I think it would be very wise if President Trump and V.President listen to Dr. Shiva who is running for Senator of Massachusetts.
During a CROSSwalk that we–The Family Church– holds daily (using social distancing,) we gather together in corporate prayer–in groups of 10– for two minutes prior and one minute after. a CROSSwalk (beginning at our CROSS cell tower, on property, and proceed to walk about one half mile in silent prayer or praise. At which time, we pray for our nation, our President, our Vice President and our Governor (DeSantis,) to accomplish all God has in store for them to do and for us, as a nation, to follow our leadership as guided by the Holy Spirit.
I am praying for all four requests, and more as different situation come up. God bless and protect those in our government who are working tirelessly to conquer this virus. Thank you, Lord, for watching over them. In Jesus’ name…Amen.

After reading the prayer requests, I stop immediately and pray. Taking the time to interceed in prayer over each area of need. Then,throughout the day, as it comes to mind I go before Lord again and again with these requests.

My husband and I are from the great State of Indiana, from where Vice President Mike Pence and his family herald. We were pleased when he was selected to run on the ticket with President Donald Trump. We know the vice president – formerly our Governor – is a strong and committed Christian and that he’s seeking God’s wisdom and grace for making critical decisions.

We could pray morning, noon and night. There are soooo many needs and issues. I have a problem stopping but I also speak prayers as I’m working, cooking, driving, shopping, etc…. When we are in a trial, it seems like it will never end, But God is a God of all time; He knows exactly how long our trials will endure and He will give us the strength we need to get through them.

My husband and I pray together daily for our President and Vice President and the leaders in our government to listen to the Holy Spirit and follow the Lord’s lead, to cooperate with each other and find the best solution for our country. Father we come to you today lifting up the first responders, people on the front lines, nurses, doctors, helpers, grocers, drug stores and I am sure many more. You see them Lord, you know them all. I pray a hedge of protection over these people. A hedge of fire that burns up every unclean thing that comes near them or their dwelling place. I pray the blood of Jesus over them for protection, the power of the blood is ours.
I pray for comfort over the people who have lost loved ones that they could not communicate with. I pray for peace over them Father. Hold them close and give them peace and comfort. Give them love that they have never had before and heal their emotions.
I pray for Vice President Pence and his staff and family. Father give them strength in this time as it is sometimes very chaotic. I pray peace and calm will fill them that they may do what they have to day after day. Give them wisdom and power to overcome. We are overcomers through Christ. I pray the hedge of protection around them that evil cannot penetrate, as they go forth. Restore their strength that they would not become weary. I plead the blood of Jesus over them that they stay strong and healthy. I pray they keep the Word before them as it is life to all that have it.

Jesus cover our front-line warriors with your blood. Make them resilient and strengthen their immune systems. Restore our freedoms and let our thankfulness for this “reset” time resound in heaven. Protect the vulnerable and turn the plans of the enemy to take lives before their time back and cause life to be extended, bodies to be strengthened and minds to be renewed. Give wisdom to Donald Trump, Mike Pence and all those serving in places of national leadership and authority. Protect them and their families with the “iron dome” of the Spirit and give them renewed strength and strategies specific to this time. Be glorified as you bring your body to fresh unity and purity of heart. We declare the goodness of the Lord will continue to be seen in the land of the living and that this virus will fall to the ground and die.
Father, thank you for your protection, healing, deliverance from fear, wisdom, insight, encouragement in the faith, for:
President Trump, VP Mike Pence, their families, staff, and supporters; for the Covid-19 task force, the grocery store workers, healthcare professionals, police, firemen, military; those who have suffered loss of any kind, those who have contracted the virus, those who have lost income.
You are the giver of every good and perfect gift, the Very present help in time of trouble, who desires all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth! That people everywhere would look to You, realize that You are the answer to every human need!
May Your kingdom come, Your will be done in taking what the enemy meant for evil and turning it for good!

I pray that he would – in everything – acknowledge You –
and I pray that You would direct his path.
Grant him a multitude of wise counselors –
Above all, keep his ear attentive to You.

ALSO THAT THIS TIME OF QUARANTINE ISN’T TO QUARANTINE US, BUT TO QUARANTINE THE VIRUS. LET YOUR HOLY REVELATION FALL THROUGH YOUR MERCY AND GRACE AND WE ASK FOR YOUR SHALOM TO BE IN AND ON US IN YESHUA’S MIGHTY AND HOLY NAME.
Father God thankyou for vice president Pence, bless him and his family. Psalm 91 protection over them. As we approach passover, I pray peoples hearts would be turned to you! Give them a heart of flesh instead of stone.
I pray for the families who have lost love ones, give them your strength and love!

Due to an April Fool’s
Prank gone a muck, I thought our dear VP had the virus. I spent the night in prayer and felt like I (we) had let him down in a prayer. When I was aware of the reality, I was sooo overjoyed in knowing VP Pence was ok. But the stark reality of our need to hold up his arms in our prayer is deeply impressed on my heart. May we each one do our part to intercede daily for the Protection of our President, Vice President and their families.
Lord, place a hedge of Protection around those who are giving so much of themselves to protect us. May their spiritual armor be intact for the battle! And may we do our part on our knees to help our leaders to stand!

Father, God We give you thanks for the leadership You have set up in this nation for such a time as this. May You bless and protect our President and Vice President with physical health, wisdom and counsel for the difficult decisions ahead. As I meditate on Your Word and remember the tenth and final plague that moved through Egypt. The father and all his household had to obey all of God’s instructions to remain safe from the Angel of Death and obedience from the Pharaoh to obey God’s command to “let His people go”. We come before You Almighty God on behalf of our nation. Would You in mercy bring an end to this virus that has taken so many lives. We need Your guidance and wisdom and we shall obey. Forgive us for our sin of pride, selfish ambition and misuse of power. ” Turn our hearts to Yourself, O Lord and we shall be turned and restored! Renew our days of old. And do not reject us, but have mercy and grace upon this nation.Open our eyes too repentance and restore us in relationship as You heal our nation. May You anoint our leadership with You grace, wisdom and mercy in a time when there is know one else to turn to let our eyes be upon You. Show us Your Glory O God, and revive us.
Father God, how we thank You Lord that You are the only One who can take this awful circumstance and bring something good out of it. Continue to call Your people to our knees – that we would consistently lift up to You our leaders (at every level of government and in every organization and business): asking that You will not only surround them with godly advisors but also that You will give them ears to hear Your voice above the chaos! – that You will be a hedge of protection around our healthcare workers and those who are in essential positions: protect them as they serve their neighbors and communities! – that You O Lord will give wisdom to parents who are now homeschooling their children – reveal to them how to use this opportunity to help their children see You in the midst of everything they are learning!
And Father we ask too that You use Your people to be a voice of hope. In Your mercy comfort those who have lost loved ones, those who have been separated from loved ones and those who live in fear of dying. You O Lord are our only hope!!
We thank You Lord that You are on Your throne and that none of this is a surprise to You. May Your people, who are called by Your name come before You in true humility! May we pray as never before and seek Your face moment by moment, step by step and may we repent of all the sin that holds us in bondage and places a wedge between us and You. And may we remember that praise is a mighty weapon You have given us for the battle we are in! In the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen

Thank you for supplying our need for N95 face masks and thank you for everyone who is making them in Anchorage, Alaska for everybody else and for the auto shop here who is making face guards for medical personnel, and all the distilleries who are making hand sanitizers!!!
