UPDATE: Oklahoma voted no on recreational marijuana! Praise God!
On March 7, Oklahomans vote on recreational marijuana. On the ballot is an initiative created by the marijuana industry, not the Oklahoma legislature, so it is a wish list for Big Marijuana. Its wording is the most liberal on marijuana use in the country, and if successful will likely be used in other states.
Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.
Oklahoma already has an extremely lax medical marijuana business, with the most dispensaries of any state even though it is a small state. The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority would be the overseer of the new recreational industry even though the Authority has been so feckless that the legislature is pausing new licenses and has had to budget for 100 new compliance officers.
State Question 820 would allow marijuana use around children, and would prevent law enforcement from using the smell of marijuana as probable cause for search, seizure, or arrest in most situations.
Oklahomans are already besieged with foreign companies operating “grows” in rural areas, lower water pressure from the lavish irrigation, and emergency room visits for marijuana toxicity—as many as one per shift in a given hospital.
Pray that the assault on Oklahoma’s kids, farmland, and safety would be turned back.

Praise You Lord God for stirring the hearts of our leaders to do what is right and just in our land. Take off the blinders so they may see, in Jesus name, Amen.

Political deception passed the law in our state on the basis that taxes from pot would go to schools only they left a loophole that said you could grow s your own and not pay taxes. Thus, there is so little tax money going to schools it won’t even buy t.p.
Know this is another area of Deception that the beast is using to steal kill and destroy.

Dear Almighty God, I remembered this scripture and I pray the truth of it will drive the outcome of this vote. I pray You will direct everyone’s heart and ultimate decision of this matter here, in Oklahoma and going forward in other states. This victory will be to Your Glory and I ask for this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Please pray for us that the Lord will stir the ministry leaders of our state to pray for these pressing issues and that the legislation concerning marijuana will not pass.
They voted it in here in Missouri but seems to be fairly well regulated. I was opposed to it but it went through anyway.
