Pray about Tropical Storm Debby!
Intercessor, are you on the East Coast? If so, you’ve probably been following the news about Tropical Storm Debby, or you’ve already felt the effects of the storm.
Find out when your state prays.
The storm initially hit Florida Monday morning, coming up from the Caribbean and entering the north side of the state. It moved to the east and traveled off the coast, but not before severely impacting parts of Florida and Georgia.
We are a mile up the road out of Horseshoe Beach, FL and the surge is STILL pushing in. Search and rescue vehicles with boats are not able to get into town, the water is too deep #flwx @SevereStudios pic.twitter.com/9bcVuXoScl

Debby made landfall again in South Carolina early Thursday morning. The storm is currently making its way up the East Coast, bringing with it possible flooding and tornados. North Carolina and Virginia expect 3 to 7 inches of rain, while states farther north expect 2-4. We have included a helpful map below, but we also encourage you to check out weather.com and weather.gov for the most up-to-date information.
Debby is expected to keep traveling north. As this storm rages through the northeastern United States, we pray for everyone in its path. We encourage you, intercessors, to pray for provision and protection for those in Debby’s path. Likewise, we encourage you to pray for healing and restoration for those in the Southeast who have already been hit and are recovering from the storm.
We also ask you to keep IFA in your prayers, as our headquarters and many of our staff are located in the center of the storm’s path.
How is the Lord moving you to pray? Share your prayers and scriptures with us in the comments.

Father God- Please calm storm Debby and keep it from harming your people. I ask this in Jesus Name, Amen
Jesus said, “Peace, be still!”
May your will be done.
While I would never want deaths or even property damage, the rain from this tropical system is sorely needed. I wish the rain could have come through other means.
Heavenly Father, we turn to you for strength and guidance during this storm. Just as Noah found refuge in your protection, we seek the same assurance in the midst of this tropical storm Debby chaos. May we find peace in knowing that God is with us, guiding us through the storm with His grace and mercy. Let us stand firm in our faith, knowing that He will never leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). In Jesus name, amen
