Father may we be wise and seek you for discernment. May no plan to harm, cheat, or deceive prosper!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she would like to see “vote by mail” funding of up to $4 billion in Congress’ next coronavirus stimulus package for upcoming elections.

Pelosi suggested on Wednesday that the funding would help states “expand” their vote-by-mail capabilities and allow voters to cast ballots by mail rather than show up in-person at the polls.

Point of Prayer: Pray that there would be no method of voting that would open the doors for greater fraud and misuse. Give our officials and citizens discernment on this issue.

“Vote-by-mail is so important to our democracy so that people have access to voting and not being deterred, especially at this time, by the ammunition to stay home,” Pelosi said on a conference call. “We need at least $2 billion, $4 billion is probably what would really democratize our whole system.”

On Tuesday, Pelosi said she does not know why anyone would oppose voting by mail in the next election.

“In terms of the elections, I think that we’ll probably be moving to vote by mail,” Pelosi said on MSNBC. “The integrity of the election system is central to our democracy. I don’t know how anyone could oppose our enabling the states to have vote by mail.”

House Democrats have said the fourth coronavirus stimulus package should also include infrastructure upgrades, expansion of broadband access as well as payments toward residents’ utility bills.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) applauded Pelosi for focusing on vote by mail due to coronavirus.

“Voting needs to be accessible and safe for Americans during this pandemic. Period. Thank you @SpeakerPelosi for supporting #VoteByMail,” she wrote on Twitter Wednesday. “I am working to pass my bill to guarantee this voting option to all Americans.”

  1. Lord we pray that anything hidden will be revealed and anything hidden will be brought to the light. let any hidden agenda by nancy pelosi and the democrates will be stopped and revealed. they cannot be trusted to do the right thing. let our elections be fair and honest. Father you said to pray for those in authority that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. i pray for her and the rest of the democrates to be saved and serve You and not money or power. i pray Lord God when nancy pelosi goes to speak that the Holy Spirit takes a hold of her tongue and only the truth will come out and any hidden agenda or motives will be revealed.

  2. Father, I find it so hard to pray for Nancy Pelosi and our ‘leaders’ who agree with her stance on anything it seems. Although, I do not list any of her actions on behalf of her colleagues, she has done enough damage for all of us to witness. I pray for her because You have said to pray for those who persecute you. Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust” (Matt. 5:44-45). I pray for her Father, only You can save her, in Jesus Name, amen.

  3. It concerns me that Pelosi cannot be trusted to do ANYTHING that would be a service to Republicans.
    I pray she has an encounter with Jesus! Meet Him. Be softened to live like Him.
    Under our armor of God, I help the church and all who stand for godly values under President Trump put on the helmet of salvation—we are saved by grace through faith-God thank you for Jesus ! Save us from evil plots by your grace on this. We have faith in you!; the breastplate of righteousness—we are the righteousness of God in Jesus. God, bring righteousness in voting; the belt of truth—Father we are filled with the Spirit of Truth. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for leading us. Bring Truth in all we do;
    the leg coverings and shoes to walk in the gospel of peace—Jesus is the only way to the Father. Thank you for bringing us back to God, Jesus. We walk in that power for peace in this country. Bring the Prince of Peace to unite our country & give us peace in voting for truth; lift up our shield of faith— our faith is trust in God. This is how we fight our battles; and raise the Sword of the Spirit! Hallelujah! Praise the risen Savior!! Greater is He Who is in Us(your followers) than he who is in the world. We are the head and not the tail. We are above and not below. We are confident You will finish a good work that You have begun in us. Amen!!

    1. Heavenly Father we ask forgiveness for abortion and pornography and all of our individual and national sins. From 2 Chronicles 7:13-15 and other Scriptures judgment begins at the house of God as does repentance as in Romans 2:4. We and our nation are taking the lives of unborn and born alive babies. Their pain is unimaginable and their blood is crying out. It is brutal and fierce. I think I read about 950 babies undergo this suffering and death daily. May your goodness lead us individually and as a nation to repentance. Open everyone’s eyes. Help us all to fear your judgment in this matter. Lord help us to do what you told us in 2 Chronicles 7:14 and that you will forgive our sin and heal our land. Let every believer awaken and be light and salt and register to vote and vote life. Let all speak for these little ones who can’t speak for themselves. In Jesus’ mighty name above all names.

  4. Lord, I do not trust Speaker Pelosi to do what is best for our country. Please stop any plans that would weaken our election process. Tighten any regulation so that only valid votes can be cast.
