As the new school year begins, parents across America face renewed concerns about the persistence of transgender ideology in public schools. Despite President Trump’s executive orders aimed at protecting students and restoring common sense—such as banning biological males from girls’ sports, prohibiting gender-neutral bathrooms, and ensuring parents are informed about their child’s identity struggles—many school districts remain defiant. Some states, including California, Maine, and Minnesota, are even locked in lawsuits with the federal government after openly rejecting these orders.

This conflict has created a patchwork across the nation. In Nebraska, for example, Bellevue Public Schools reversed its transgender policies in order to comply and preserve $10 million in federal funding. Meanwhile, several Virginia districts, including Loudoun County, have chosen to resist, even at the risk of losing tens of millions in federal support. These policies have serious consequences: Loudoun County previously drew national outrage after a sexual assault in a girls’ restroom by a boy identifying as female.
While red states are often assumed to be safe havens, investigations reveal that some Kansas districts, among others, are still allowing boys in girls’ bathrooms and concealing students’ gender transitions from parents. This inconsistency shows that cultural battles are far from won. Administrators may quietly maintain policies while removing them from public websites to avoid scrutiny.
Advocates for parental rights stress that top-down reforms are not enough. Like with Critical Race Theory, local school officials sometimes ignore or circumvent bans. Education reformers argue that true accountability requires both vigilance from parents and the expansion of school choice, enabling families to “vote with their feet” if schools no longer align with their values.
Conservative legal experts point out that the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause and Title IX stand on the side of protecting girls’ sports and privacy. Recent Supreme Court decisions suggest that states openly defying federal law will eventually face defeat. Until then, however, parents must remain actively involved, asking tough questions of their local school boards: Will boys be allowed in their daughter’s locker room? Will their daughters compete on a level playing field in sports?
The fight is not over. Parents who want to safeguard their children must recognize that enforcement is inconsistent and the ideological push remains strong. By staying informed, speaking up, and praying for courage and discernment, Christian parents can help preserve truth and protect the next generation.

Whenever I meet someone who supports this nonsense, I educate them on the fact that transgenderism and homosexuality go against nature. That eventually this type of cultural lifestyle would wipe out the existence of man. No one would be able to produce the next generation of humans. God’s Word warns us in Romans 1: 26-27, “….change the natural use into that which is against nature……” Some listen, some don’t, however this is truly an indication that we are in the end times. The Church must stand us not only in prayer, but boots on the ground. Sad to hear that only one Pastor was present. We have the power, authority and mandate to stand and chase out this lunacy. Seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be bold in our witness. Almost everyone knows someone or has a relative who is following this lifestyle; an opportunity to witness God’s Word, Way and Love.
Keep up the good work. Temecula School board in Temecula, Ca met last night trying to vote on letting boys in the girls dressing rooms. Saying girls who are uncomfortable with this could file a religious or mental health exemption if they objected to having boys in the girls dressing room. Not only putting girls in harms way, but the mental health exemption could follow them causes problems going into the military or any secure job opportunity in their future. This is very wrong, punishing girls for wanting to be able to dress in privacy w/o the opposite sex being in the same room. Please pray that parents will stand loud and clear for their girl’s protection.
Lane, someone needed to say it is not girls wanting girl’s only facilities that are suffering from a mental health problem – it is those who want to allow boys in. It is insane to not be able to tell one from the other! I’m sorry your community is currently dealing with this level of insanity! May YHVH, and concerned believers intervene.
Father God,
Bring Your righteousness and truth into our schools and protect our children from all lies and deception and confusion. Keep this wicked ideology away from our children and deliver those in conflict and confusion from the lies and deception of Satan.
Lord Jesus thank you that you did it all and You are enough to heal this nation and our schools from the wickedness of this globalist world view and bring Your kingdom of truth and righteousness into our school and our communities that all may be set free to become all You created them to be.
Protect children from those in deception and perverse agendas.
Lord open the eyes of teachers blinded by woke propaganda and lies. Deliver them from evil and remove those who may be a threat or vessel of the enemy to harm our children and thus our nation.
Raise up those teachers of righteousness and bless them with courage and strength to speak truth in love and compassion and grace. Yet I pray they never waver from Your truth and righteousness and bravery glory to Your name.
Who ARE these idiots who support these wifty liberal school boards? Something needs to change, and change soon. People who are of the conservative bent need to start attending school board meetings, and make their voices heard!!!

YHVH, I continue to ask that You stir the hearts of parents and grandparents to prioritize the spiritual health and well-being of their children above all else. If they vote with their feet, I ask that You make provision for those who are struggling to find a way where there seems to be no way – for home schooling, private schools, etc. Also, please stir them to make it known far and wide and to local school boards why they chose to pull their children out of the public school system. Stir students themselves, those who love and serve You, to make their voices heard. Restore reason and sanity, Lord! Please protect our children – snatch them from the jaws of the enemy, and make them trophies of Your grace and mercy!
It’s not just schools who are dragging their feet. The hospital I work in maintains DEI and regularly promotes a program to promote the gender issue. I am not sure how many other corporate entities are doing the same, but we must pray in this regard.
Sharon, I agree. I hope you’ve asked if maybe the Lord might want you to vote with your feet, as well. Not assuming, just hope you’ve asked. The problem is so prevalent that it might be a moot point. May you have opportunity to speak into it.
Heaven Father of order, protection and great love, please take what we have destroyed in this past generation and bring Your will and Your ways back to life in our world. Open all eyes to see and all mouths to declare that the genders received at birth and the roles and differences between the sexes are an absolute blessing to our world. May we honor going forward the importance of such roles.
Turn it around, with eyes wide open and divine wisdom, as the horror stories of this mess and wrong thinking reverse back to Your intention for mankind.

Lord, grant wisdom and help from above for parents of children who attend schools in districts that are choosing not to comply with the federal mandate. Give these parents a voice and platform. Let the students themselves cry out. This practice is evil. I ask You, O Lord God Almighty, to ban it. Father, protect the children from such evil practices. Arise, O God of might. Deliver these chidden from the evil one. In Jesus’ Name and for Your glory. Amen.
Father God, I thank you that there are many people praying for children’s welfare in schools. I praise You O LORD, that You have angels encamped around this country to protect and deliver children from evil intent and leading them in doctrines of demons. I stand in the gap for children so young, kindergarteners that have no ability to discern what is happening to them. Forgive us for allowing schools to run amuck and lead children astray. This is bigger than all of us in the faith, but you are able to bring these things to a halt. Help us and forgive us as a people. In Jesus Might Name I pray. Amen
